That was one of the best ones so far. When the staff is going to give you a tshirt before you try the challenge, you know you have made it. Shout out to the chef for not making it bigger once he recognized you. Great staff and patrons. Long Live the Beard!
That's actually what I don't get about so many of those places, especially those trying to make a bigger portion. It will just make you look bad and therefore uninviting. This place looks lovely and the people seem so nice. Good invested free meal to say the least.
Just been today, had the half rack and I am stuffed. They were 'delicious' and the staff were great. Had a chat with chef about the bearded one, business is booming since his visit, win win situation.
That's the whole point! The place gets free advertisement, millions of views AND the fake beard gets millions of views. The only losers are the viewers are the people what believe this fraud. Just watch, ALL of his videos are edited the same way; 1) he stuffs his face 2) camera turns off 3) spits the food into a bucket below the table and repeats.

The lady that served you is exactly what I like to see when going in to a place this, down to earth and happy character. Food looked real yummy and rhubarb crumble on the menu, is a win win 🏆 good work beard

@@firebirdude2 what do you mean "Incredible for the UK.." The UK is full of nice pubs with great food and really friendly staff. Personally, I found people in England are much more openly friendlier and generous than people in my home country Australia though it varies a lot depending on where you are. I mean Australian are generally nice and generous people but if someone isn't obviously in need, then we tend to want to get to know you before opening up and being more friendly. I found in the UK people were friendly and generous from the outset like the shopping centres all have paid parking, not only did the person leaving hurry to vacate their perking spot for us as there were next to no free parks, she gave us here parking ticket as she had paid for much more time than she needed. So we could effectively park for free. Shopping centre parking is free un Australia but in the paid carparks, its really expensive but someone giving you their remaining time on the ticket would be highly unlikely. Ok, that was a long reply...
All the food looked really Yum and the staff were really nice people too. I really wish I could go for a meal but I live on the other side of the world in Australia, little bit far for an evening or lunch meal.
@@MaZEEZaM I lovee stories like this. Reminds me of my trip to Oregon. People were so nice! We got stuck on a mountain road and had to hitchhike out. The guy was going the opposite way, but stopped, picked us up, drove an hour back, printed us a map from his closed store, and dropped us off at a hostel
That chef is amazing the fact he won't make the challenge harder just because he knows you are a professional food eater and I agree with him it does seem like in some of the challenges they make it harder specifically because they know who you are
I love that not only do you have a following that support you and you channel, but, (and perhaps more importantly) you bring attention to independent restaurants and pubs that wouldn't otherwise have had that attention. I hope that even a small fraction of your viewers can go and enjoy the food, maybe tell them: "Beard sent me..."

From my perspective, Beard man is the only food challenge eater who eats meals I would enjoy eating myself and doesn't eat the food in a disgusting way. I find the others off-putting to watch but I often enjoy my often boring food much more watching Beards videos. I hope you are in one of the hospitals that has nice food as I personally know it can vary a great deal depending on the hospital. It can make such a difference to your mental health while in hospital and your speed of recovery as you hopefully have nice, healthy meals to look forward to each day and not meals anyone really wants to eat as I've found in one of my hospitals.

Hey everyone! I recently had a tonsil surgery, and it's been quite challenging for me. Whenever I see all this delicious food, it brings tears to my eyes because eating without experiencing intense pain is nearly impossible for me right now. Top tip for you as someone who had their tonsils out at 21: eat dry toast!! It KILLS but I was better after a week as it scrapes all the crap off your throat 😅xx

@@tioswift3676 So if you're going in for a $20 oil change for your car and then they tell you afterwards it's going to be $60 you're okay with that I doubt that the same logic with the food challenges it's supposed to be a 4 lb of maet challenge they turn around and tell him it's going to be 12 lb after he's already signed up for it

I had bowel surgery over christmas, so being on such a restricted diet on my recovery I've started "eating" vicariously through the entire Beard back catalogue!

My dad and his friends went to a restaurant once that was doing an all you can eat ribs thing. They ate so much the manager kicked them out saying they ate everything they had prepped for that day and the next. lmao.

The chef coming out to introduce himself as the creator of the challenge and acknowledge that unlike some others, he wouldn't be adjusting the meal just because Adam is good at what he does seems so honorable to me. Yeah it's a food challenge. So how much honor can there be in it? But the man has integrity for his customers and i just highly respect that.
I've watched a ton of your videos and they always make me hungry, but this one made me want to go out and get some ribs something fierce. They looked especially delicious.

I had bowel surgery over christmas, so being on such a restricted diet on my recovery I've started "eating" vicariously through the entire Beard back catalogue!

This is the first challenge I've watched that I think I would actually have a chance of winning. I can seriously plough through pork ribs. One of my favorite foods of all time.

My dad and his friends went to a restaurant once that was doing an all you can eat ribs thing. They ate so much the manager kicked them out saying they ate everything they had prepped for that day and the next. lmao.

The chef coming out to introduce himself as the creator of the challenge and acknowledge that unlike some others, he wouldn't be adjusting the meal just because Adam is good at what he does seems so honorable to me. Yeah it's a food challenge. So how much honor can there be in it? But the man has integrity for his customers and i just highly respect that.
