This is hands down the best and clearest comparison between these two phones. I got the 13 Pro a month ago and I’m loving it. But I wouldn’t mind using the S22 because it’s a great phone and costs less. I recommend the S22 to anyone who can’t afford to spend extra $300 on the 13 Pro.

I've had a look at both, they're both amazing phones . I think it's down to which ecosystem you prefer . I know the S22 is cheaper, it's similar in price to the standard iphone 13 in the UK . I'm thinking of moving from my pixel 6 to the S23 or iphone 14 later on this year or next year ( depending on release dates )
Once an Android person, always an Android person. The ios is the main reason I woudn't choose iphone no matter how good the performance it has. It is just a matter of preference which software you enjoy more! For me it's the Android. Even the look of Android phones are less boring. Your videos are precise and you talk naturally which makes me feel comfortable watching! Good work!
I agree with most of this, iPhone 13P actually records better videos, but photos? Not so much... it depends on what you're looking into it but Samsung is very reliable plus it's very new and with further software updates they could improve autofocus in general and mostly at night and reduce the noise. Also you said 13P gets around over 5h of SoT, I wanna guess that's mixed usage of screen on and off time? I'm surprised I thought it would get at least 2h more than the S22, at least what other UA-camr made it seem.
Correction bro, the S22 is slightly smaller at a screen size of 6.06" Also the S22 use a 4nm SD or Exynos chip while the iPhone 13 series is still using TSMC's 5nm process.
Nice video, very professionally shot and clearly presented. As you touch on towards the end these phones aren't really comparable. The S22 is closer to the regular iPhone 13 than the 13 Pro. The iPhone 13 Pro doesn't have a Samsung equivalent. The S22 Ultra would be the closest but it's a much bigger phone. Personally I think the current iPhones have great chips and cameras but I don't like the ergonomics, the weight and the OS is looking quite outdated in places. Samsung could improve their camera specs and software and should start shipping their phones with chargers and microSD capacity again like the do with their cheaper phones.
i think the new axon 40 ultra is the best competitor to iphone, better camps tan samsung, better video probably, much brighter lenses wit bigger sensors, same weight. oter tings i dont know but it will be a strett sooter king wit 35mm f 1. somting lens, ultrawide is pretty good too, more exactly te best sensor ever, and te telepoto is great too, and not evy under 205gramms like 13 pro, nd much comfortable wit a muc bigger and also brigter display lower pixel density but 144z refresh rate. i tink it will be my next pone if evryting is good in real life. and tey will upfdate software

Waittttt you're saying iphone has the better camera? Are you sure you didn't mix up the photos cause the S22 looks better in every picture apart from the low light ones inside.
Why does the Samsung win on display? The display is a lower resolution than on the iPhone. Samsung downgraded the display with the S21 and has reserved the QHD displays for the Ultra line.
Danke ! I love the "Deutch Qualitat" of your content. Very interesting and well done comparison and I totally share your honnest conclusions. I might just add for those 300$ difference Apple offers a slightly longer updates over time and maybe better resell values but you are right in most cases people will be perfectly happy with S22 at this price point.
I always lost MUCH more with Apple device. You have to wait 4-6 months after launch to buy a Samsung phone and then the selling price becomes very good. And the depreciation is much less than the iPhones. For instance, got a S10e for 510€, a S20FE 4G but Snapdragon version for 450€...the S22 was already 730€ not a long time ago which is significantly cheaper than a 13 Pro.
You keep saying iPhone has better dynamic range, while on the most pictures here are clearly Samsung has better dynamic range, just like other reviewers said when comparing S22 series to 13 series.
I’m about to switch my iPhone 13 pro for a Samsung S22! iPhone has become boring, bulky, heavy, basic, everyone has one, the camera is massive, they have no nice graphics in their msg app and app thumbnails.
Which version of the S22 are you using? I'm using the snapdragon s22 Ultra version and I never have issues with my phone not keeping apps open. I also have another 8GB of virtual ram which totals up to 16 GB of ram. I think you're an Apple fanboy because the cameras on the S22 are better this year than Iphone's and it's been proven many times. The battery life is also longer than what you claim it is on the standard S22. You also forget that the iPhone 13 Pro only has 6 GB of ram so I highly doubt that it can keep as many apps open no matter how well optimized the phone is.
S22 has competitive cameras and design but the battery on the s22/s22+ is lacks ... I am using an iPhone 13 and it takes me through the whole day withoutany issues, not sure whether I'll have the same confidence with s22s
It was a close pick for me this year for both phones. I went with the S22. Ngl ive always had android but i grew out of the whole "android vs iphone" thing for a while now. My S10 got water logged and the S22 is asthetically modern and more premium feeling than the S21 according to reviews. Ive seen more S22 vs iphone 13 pro reviews compared to s22 plus vs iphone 13 pro reviews so it must be a good flagship.
@Arvi i love it. It's a slightly shorter battery life than my s10 and 1080p instead of 1440p. But the build quality is better, and for the screen size 1080p is good. Camera quality is decent and this is also a very fast phone. The button placement is better; the volume keys are on the same side as the power button so you wont accidentally make screenshots when turning off the phone screen. And when changing volume. That was a problem with the s10. Android also gives you additional features in developer mode (like sensors off to block microphone/cameras) but thats another story.
Good points, however. Why didn't you compare it with the regular IPhone 13? That's OK, at least you mentioned it, Samsung would be the winner. I love my Galaxy S22
seems the RAM indeed the 13 pro has better managament when keeping apps open than the S22. But for the big phone like S22 ultra, it has better RAM management than the 13 pro max. Unfortunate that the small S22 has relatively small RAM.

I put almost all apps in deep sleep. Set up a custom black theme. Turned on battey optimization. In delvoper settings there's a setting called "suspend execution for cached apps" I enabled this. I also used power saving toggle when just browsing.
@@zachariekelley Oh I didn't know that one about suspending cached app.
Do you know what it actually does?
@@kirakira9906
How long have you had your phone?
For some reason adaptive battery takes 2 weeks or so to improve battery life.
The cached app toggle more effencitenly manages back grounds activities I think. I think it reduces standby battery drain.
Someone i know gets 8-9 hours sot on her base s22 somehow
This comparison would have been a standoff between s22+ and 13pro rather than the 22.
but in all is a nice content, you have here I say keep it up.
Yo your presentation is very clean and I love it.
How did you just start and already have this high a quality video production 😲👏👏👏
It´s his new english channel :) His main channel is the german one. "iKnowReview"
nice video man, its very cinematic and minimalist love it
I like your reviews , short well explained and has many details as possible . Hopefully u should make more of these.🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥✊🏾
I've had a look at both, they're both amazing phones . I think it's down to which ecosystem you prefer . I know the S22 is cheaper, it's similar in price to the standard iphone 13 in the UK . I'm thinking of moving from my pixel 6 to the S23 or iphone 14 later on this year or next year ( depending on release dates )
14 is worse than 13 pro, so look for that.
Good work!
Straightforward, clean, informative and beautiful looking video.
love your work, keep up the great job bro
Why's this channel criminally underrated?
you didn't even talk about zoom? I'm an iPhone 12 user but I miss the amazing Samsung Zoom Feature
I love the presentation, very smooth and clean ❤️
I agree with most of this, iPhone 13P actually records better videos, but photos? Not so much... it depends on what you're looking into it but Samsung is very reliable plus it's very new and with further software updates they could improve autofocus in general and mostly at night and reduce the noise.
Also you said 13P gets around over 5h of SoT, I wanna guess that's mixed usage of screen on and off time? I'm surprised I thought it would get at least 2h more than the S22, at least what other UA-camr made it seem.
Correction bro, the S22 is slightly smaller at a screen size of 6.06"
Also the S22 use a 4nm SD or Exynos chip while the iPhone 13 series is still using TSMC's 5nm process.
tsmc 5nm > samsung 4nm
And yet that 5nm A15 has beaten 2 generations of snapdragon.🙃
@@lukabosnjak3829 not true 🙂

Nice video, keep it up 👍
great video, looking forward to more content from you!
Very clear presenting style! Cheerz!
Das ist aber lustig… ich wusste gar nicht dass du auch in Englisch mal was machst ! Sehr gut , weiter so 👍🏼
Nice video, very professionally shot and clearly presented.
Nah the 13 pro max can't compare to the s22 ultra. S22 ultra is way ahead of the 13 pro max
i think the new axon 40 ultra is the best competitor to iphone, better camps tan samsung, better video probably, much brighter lenses wit bigger sensors, same weight. oter tings i dont know but it will be a strett sooter king wit 35mm f 1. somting lens, ultrawide is pretty good too, more exactly te best sensor ever, and te telepoto is great too, and not evy under 205gramms like 13 pro, nd much comfortable wit a muc bigger and also brigter display lower pixel density but 144z refresh rate. i tink it will be my next pone if evryting is good in real life. and tey will upfdate software
The base Galaxy S22 takes better photos than the iPhone 13 pro max and also has more features and better zoom.
The base 13 has basically no chance against the s22 besides battery life.
Great channel, keep up the good work.
Great review! Keep it up!
You earned my sub with the quality of your video… but having used both phones.. the iphone 13 pro is sooo much better than the s22 ultra…. The word is ‘reliable’… great video though
the weight and handling makes the s22 the better compact phone @6.1 inch.
some how still the iphone feels like a brick in the hands and heavy.
everyone says that samsungs fingerprint is good enough to compare with apples face id but if u have a screen protector on the s22 the fingerprint sensor is useless
Bro you content quality is OP🔥🔥🔥
God bless you brother ❤️❤️
4:30 "the photos definetely has more dynamic range and look more natural"
and then the iPhone COMPLETELY failed to register any light in that building darker side. I don't get it.
Spot on review! Thanks
The factt that 13 pro costs 1800$ and s22 950$ in my country makes s22 a clearr winner.
Personally, i've Got 1 day 19 hours of Battery with my iphone 13 pro max, using UA-cam, Netflix, chats , not gamming ( i don't like in phones) , and i charged when it was 10% yet. Impressive.
the iPhone 13 has lost me to S22 5 days ago. with İOS i couldn't, i just couldn't! its so primitive!
I mean, its better designed and better done, android has just a lot of features, only that, but the important things are trash
Love the breakdown, i was surprised with the camera comparison though, have seen other comparison videos were the s22s picture quality was actually superior but with yours the iphones are clearly better. was wondering if you had any ideas why that could be? Keep up the content, youve earned a sub from australia 🇦🇺
@@michaeljoshuafalcotelonova3607 The S22 has the same processor, display and camera's as the S22 plus. The S22 plus is just a bigger phone. The guy in the video is obviously an Apple fan.
@@zombieimpact2790 I agree. Those pics from the s22 look rushed. I have seen way too many other videos where the camera quality is near perfect
Great content! Would love to know why you think the S22 is way better than the regular iPhone 13
Didn't he mention this at the end? The S22 is definitely better than the regular 13.
Waittttt you're saying iphone has the better camera? Are you sure you didn't mix up the photos cause the S22 looks better in every picture apart from the low light ones inside.
hey bro what’s the wallpaper on the thumbnail for s22??? link plz 😭
First time I've subscribed a channel by watching just 1 video.
Omg what you use to get the icons and widget's I want my s22 to look nice just like that and great video keep up the great work
Why does the Samsung win on display? The display is a lower resolution than on the iPhone. Samsung downgraded the display with the S21 and has reserved the QHD displays for the Ultra line.
Why compare an entry Galaxy S22 phone to the mid iPhone 13 pro? This should be against the Samsung Galaxy S22+.
Because the 22+ compares to the Pro Max.
@@jeanbaptistelabelle Right..but this is not the S22+. It's just the S22. The smaller phone.
@@jraheemjefcoat429 yeah, that is why it is compared to the similar small iPhone 13 Pro with 120Hz and telephoto.
S22 plus is basically s22 but bigger
13 pro should be compared to the ultra, at least because they're the same price in my country
@@jeanbaptistelabelle No it should be compared with S22 Ultra
Amazing review!
Samsung will update this phone for 5 years, for me it's pretty amazing that this phone will get so much attention.
Awesome video hello from Sénégal
You keep saying iPhone has better dynamic range, while on the most pictures here are clearly Samsung has better dynamic range, just like other reviewers said when comparing S22 series to 13 series.
How do you get the Android 12/Pixel style clock on the S22?
I’m about to switch my iPhone 13 pro for a Samsung S22! iPhone has become boring, bulky, heavy, basic, everyone has one, the camera is massive, they have no nice graphics in their msg app and app thumbnails.
Could you compare the s22+ and the iPhone 13 pro
Really nice n precise review
1.37 wallpaper link please 🙏
Which version of the S22 are you using? I'm using the snapdragon s22 Ultra version and I never have issues with my phone not keeping apps open. I also have another 8GB of virtual ram which totals up to 16 GB of ram. I think you're an Apple fanboy because the cameras on the S22 are better this year than Iphone's and it's been proven many times. The battery life is also longer than what you claim it is on the standard S22. You also forget that the iPhone 13 Pro only has 6 GB of ram so I highly doubt that it can keep as many apps open no matter how well optimized the phone is.
New sub over here!

@@mobilenerd3506 bruh you a nerd gtfo
How was your S22 now? Thanks.
Great! I was just looking for this review. Could you possibly do an in-depth camera review between the two?
Youre like the michelle phan of tech...bcoz of your voice, tone..

Please tell me why are you comparing Iphone 13 pro with Samsung S22 not S22+?
My dude trust me , portrait is better in samsung
I have 13 pro max and s22
And I am telling you portrait on s22 is much natural.
Good points, however. Why didn't you compare it with the regular IPhone 13? That's OK, at least you mentioned it, Samsung would be the winner. I love my Galaxy S22
Great video !)
seems the RAM indeed the 13 pro has better managament when keeping apps open than the S22.
But for the big phone like S22 ultra, it has better RAM management than the 13 pro max.
Unfortunate that the small S22 has relatively small RAM.
Here in India
S22 - 900$
13 pro - 1400$
So clearly No comparison Here..lol
I think it's not fair to compare S22 to 13pro.. maybe you should compare the S22plus and the 13pro instead
Pro Max you mean?
Hey bro s22 is much better portrait photo and video , night photography ,zooming etc 13 pro is only good for video for sure don’t be mistaking … overall camera s22
