have you had lag problems with the s22 ultra at all? or apps taking longer to open up? apparently this has become a problem for some people and has put me off of the samsung...
I'm a pixel 6 user. Not the pro. And $600 for all that's packed into the device is just amazing. I don't need top tier anything. I just need what's good for me. Display, battery life, speaker, speed, etc., are all more valuable than what it's priced. I'll save those few hundred dollars and splurge on some accessories or other ecosystem devices.

Got an S22 Ultra about a month ago... no regrets upgrading from base model Note 10. Was a toss up between the S22 Ultra and the Pixel 6 Pro, but I always loved and utilized the S-pen.
Recently updated from my dying Note 8 to an S22 Ultra 512gb and couldn't be happier. This device performs flawlessly although I expected much better battery life, as I still can't get through a full day without recharging. Excellent upgrade otherwise.
The #1 thing that effects battery life is screen brightness. I've learned to make my screen as dem as I can possibly stand. At first it doesn't look as good because you get so used to it being bright. But then your eyes adapt and it's fine. I have easily gained 2 sometimes 3 hours on screen time just from adjusting brightness. It makes a hudge difference.
There are many things you could do to increase battery life such as lowwering the screen refresh rate. I'm seeing reports that once the AI in the phone learns your habits the battery life increases as it learns what apps to shut off when you leave the house or what time of the day your likely to use an app that could be put to sleep when not likely to be used. Several reviews have mentioned after a week battery life increased for them.
Like the video, but the notion that the Pixel "doesn't offer anything unique" is simply not true. The Pixel has exclusive features that no other phone has; like Call Screen, Hold For Me, Crash Detection, Personal Safety , Now Playing, Google Assistant is also more powerful on the Pixel.
@@danieltalebi1040 Well, I'm sure Crash Detection help someone, it's like an Air Bag or Seat Belt, the day you need it it's there, also I used Hold For Me recently and it was very convenient, I didn't have to sit and listen to the hold music and stop what I was doing, the phone notify me when the person return to the phone. I used Google Assistant all the while to make calls and to pause and resume UA-cam videos, I could keep going.
The magic eraser on the pixel is my favorite feature! It does an amazing job getting random background people out of your otherwise perfect shot. It even took people's reflection out of a glass window
This is a very cool feature, and much to my surprise, when I bought the S21+ not too long ago, I found it too has the "object eraser" function built into the gallery app. Very useful and functional.
I upgraded from my pixel 5 and decided to choose the s22 Ultra. I very much enjoyed the pixel experience but i prefer Samsung's hardware and software experience a bit more
@Dhrubajyoti Raja one ui better with those features and more flexibility and better rachibily stuff. Especially if you had goodlock with it, stock android is really nothing compare to one ui

I own all three of these phones, I have no loyalty to any brand. I prefer Apple's ecosystem, but the S22 Ultra is just a superior device all around. Google has a good camera, the consistency just isn't good. Very often, I will prefer the S22 Ultra over all photos on the three. iPhone really lacks HDR. All in all, I would choose the S22 Ultra over all three.

I had the P6P and traded it in for the S22 Ultra. Both have their pros but I am enjoying the S22 Ultra more than I did the Pixel. S-pen and better photo editing apps and the brighter screen make it worth it. And Google has been a mess with this new tensor chip, I did love the camera on the pixel 6 though was the best thing about it.
My main is 13Pro Max because of the smart watch. My secondary Pixel but the fingerprint issue bothering me. It’s really annoying…and I hoped it’d be fixed now. I like native Google but after playing with the 22Ultra….might move from my P6P to the 22Ultra.
@@TheActualKingSmith having used the s22 ultra, no the extra stuff is least intrusive or bothersome. If you are gonna buy the s22 ultra, make sure to get the snapdragon variant.
I had a P6Pro whose screen died and while on warranty (in another country) I got an S22 ultra and figured I will continue using it (just giving up on the pixel). My experience with the S22 ultra is different than others for some reason. I did also use the S21 ultra and also had the Note 10+, so I know a bit about Samsung phones. The S22 ultra takes significantly worse pictures, especially at night, than the Pixel. Its battery was also worse in standby and I saw myself with 10-20% at the end of the day, while the pixel lasts all day with more than 40% to spare (4-5 hours screen on time on average). The speaker comparison in this video is weak. In my person view, and I did test all 3 phones side by side including taking pictures at night, etc, the speakers on the Pixel are the cleanest. The iPhone speakers are tinny but do have a punch. Their EQ is set to a lot of treble and a bit of bass. The speakers on the S22 ultra are poor and they fealt like a big downgrade when I switched, but I got used to them after about 2 weeks. I personally came back to the pixel. I don't game, I don't like the SPen, I don't connect the phone to the computer and TBH the Samsung implementation is poor and I wouldn't want to work on that and would rather just use the phone instead. But that's just me I guess. Still have the S22 ultra, maybe I will try again in a few months.
I have both the pixel 6 pro and the Samsung Galaxy s22 ultra. By far to me, the pro is the best phone for a couple of reasons. The Google tensor chips provide so much capabilities especially with input. I use my phone 99% of the time to type stuff in or voice text. The Pixel 6 pro clearly leads both of them in that category.
All three phones are fantastic they have phenomenal features. Personally I think it's great we have options and can choose a phone that would fit our everyday lives.
Yep, although diehard android fanboys tell you 9 hours is enough for one day, the thing is If you’re a power user then cut 2 hrs off the battery life So iPhone is the best for me and you😄
4:58 Isn't the iPhone looking oversharpened with Halo artifacts? Anyways the regular S22 is better for videos due to a much lower resolution yet quite a large sensor. 108MP HM3 is pretty poor for videos.
But for someone who doesn't shoot that much video, 108mp mode is amazing, the amount of detail is just insane, you crop in and it looks good way farther than it should on a phone
Switched from S22 to iPhone and do not plan on going back. For me, the iPhone is just so much better for what I need it for and how I use it. It feels better and more instinctual and intuitive. I'm having a much better user-experience with my 13 Pro Max after having been with Android for almost a decade. I never knew iPhone was this good. I definitely criticized it way to harshly back then. Eating my words since I've been using it. It is an amazing device, this 13 Pro Max.
Feel like it’s a common theme among android users. I used to bash on Apple before I got my iPhone 6 and realized how wrong I was. That was many years ago though.
Usually I’m an iPhone user, in the ecosystem. However I test a lot of phones also. These three phones are great, you can’t really go wrong with any of them.
I'm so torn. I currently have the Google Pixel 3 XL and honestly the only reason I have to get a new phone is because Google no longer provide security updates for this model. However, if they.. I can guarantee that I would never change my phone. In terms of which phone has the most similar specs to the Pixel 3 XL, I've seen that it's actually the S22 Ultra that's more similar than the 6 Pro which is weird.. in all honesty, if I could have the Pixel layout on the S22 Ultra, I'd get the Samsung in a heartbeat. I think I'm just still undecided.
I choose S22 Ultra because it ticks all the boxes for me in which this is absolutely good as mentioned in the above video. I actually prefer all the above said good things about S22 ultra or in which the S22 Ultra is best as mentioned in this video for my day to day life of usage. So my pick will be definitely S22 Ultra
Just picked up a pixel 6 pro with a 47% discount. And it's quite a weapon! I haven't had a flagship phone since the Samsung s7 edge, so I'm feeling quite flash! 🤣
As a previous owner of iPhones and flagship Samsung devices, my vote goes to the Samsung. There are about 10-15 things you can do with the Samsung S22 Ultra that aren't even possible on the other phones. If the analysis was that close... when you throw in the extra capabilities, it's a no-brainer.
It’s a no brainer, if you really use those features and if you like android Interface. Otherwise it does not really matter. So the No-brainer remark it’s highly subjective to the user.
@@TDW28 I'm current and longtime user of Note series and currently own Note 20 Ultra. Never gonna buy Samsung phone again, Exynos is trash and the phone never gets me through the day. All those extra features are useless if I can't use them due to battery limitations...

I have both the S22 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro. By far my favorite is the S22 Ultra. Love my pen, customizable interface, and reverse charging is a must when traveling! (Try keeping track of three cable types for 2 phones, watch, and tablet). I take photos, but don't need the professional quality nor editing abilities. But I appreciate the voice commands when taking selfies and group shots. I feel more confident in my fast charging on the Samsung. I plug in my Apple and never know how long it'll take to reach 100%.
What about software upgrades? Apple is FAR ahead of all the competition in this regard. They still support upgrades for the iPhone 6s as well as the OG iPhone SE
Given that Google owns Android, and they've made it part of their end goal, the P6P and beyond should get long term support that rivals apple sometime in the future along with increased security update frequency, this has yet to be seen though and is mostly hot air from Google, but tbh they're nearly ahead of Samsung and apple as far as security and privacy features are concerned, pretty generous considering Google's business model.
Google's call recording, transcription, and other exclusive features are way more useful than samsung and apple's gimmicks. I literally record a whole lecture and than transcribe it and turn it into a word file and print out to study later. No other device can do this because it's always 99 % accurate. For students and for teachers i believe Google pixel will be the best choice.
I never really understood speaker tests. Other than getting a feel for their relative volumes, we're still hearing these phones through our own speakers. I think we just have to take your word for it unless I'm missing something.
This hurts me, I’m an Apple user and adore the minimalistic simplicity of its os. But man is it ugly compared to that S22. Plus Apple just doesn’t give its users much, no fingerprint, no always on the list goes on and on
My google pixel 6 experience was pretty good but there's was few bugs that never will go away. The best phones I ever used was Samsung Galaxy S lineup and Iphones, there's not many phones that speak premium quality. Google Pixel linup is almost amazing but quite not there yet.
The iPhone physical design look so premium in contrast to the other phones. It really stands out among the others especially the iPhone edge design. The pixel phone really come a long way to measure up close to the top two phones (Samsung and iPhone).
I really wanted the P6P to work. I tried it for months. Couldn’t take it anymore. I went to get a 13 Pro Max today. It’s amazing and I have 2 phone numbers on it. I miss the ease of use from Apple. I just can’t flow with Android.

Something you missed is the incredible integration Samsung and Microsoft have done with the Galaxy series and Windows in the recent years. It gives Apple's integration with the Mac a run for its money, and I prefer it in several places. I can drag and drop from my phone straight to my Windows desktop, even from within Android apps. And vice-versa.
I am on a Samsung Galaxy FE now and truly missed my Pixel 4a when it comes to user experience. The pixel is just more intuitive. Not sure about iPhone since my last one was years ago.
Do you have Android 12? My s20 FE had the most intuitive UI I've ever used, even more than iOS. I use a 13 Pro Max now and while I like the superior performance in most areas, I can't stop thinking about useful features Samsung baked into One UI and how far they've come with it
Based on using it for the full duration of its support period the iPhone clearly tops it at $157/year (7 years). The Pixel is 2nd at $225/year and the S22 Ultra is last at $240/year. Because of its battery life, the iPhone is more likely to last the full 7 years without replacing the battery. Also iPhones tend to retain their value better on the second hand market.
Using a phone for 7 years just because its battery hasn’t died means you are not really using the phone’s features that much. So just use a Motorola might be even cheaper.
@@CO8848_2 it's not just the battery iPhones last 5-8 years with no problem because of iOS support. I have a friend that still uses iphone 6s without issues try that with a 7 year old samsung and if you don't believe me you can search about iphones longevity yourself

Google, whose pedigree is software, did a phenomenal job all but keeping up with the 2, premier hardware companies (you can also make the reverse argument.) Each phone has its plusses and minuses so it all comes down to style, taste and preferred association. I currently have a pixel 6 pro which I picked up for $750 renewed on Amazon (now $600). Hard to beat that price. I couldn't be happier. Best phone I've ever owned.
Been using the S22 Ultra for 3 months now. Besides the terrible battery (5 hour screen time due to the smart switch data transfer bug) and fragile screen, it's the best. Cameras + pen + giant and beautiful screen + super fast processing
I switched from iPhone and chose the S22 Ultra because of the S Pen, I love drawing and writing and it was hard to resist. Bought the phone last week and have experienced an issue with Messenger app but that could be due to server. Other than that it's a very good phone, runs fast and feels great to use.
Photo taking should be categorized. Some people just do care with still photos where Pixels shine the most. As for flexibility, Samsung got the best set of preset modes and pro mode. So I think photo taking should be categorized into basic and advanced mode.

Great phones that all have their issues. iPhone 13: Probably provides the best experience (UI, performance, photos and videos), but it's very closed and doesn't allow much customization. Pixel 6 Pro: Most responsive Android experience (UI), stunning pictures but lots pf small bugs and occasionally even "important" bugs. S22 Ultra: Most complete experience (One UI has dozens of features), overall good performance, good photos (with 100x zoom too), good videos but it's peculiarity is somewhat an issue too (One UI is complete, but badly optimized which causes lags and microlags all over the UI, even in the simplest things).
I enjoyed this review. I appreciate how subjective it is and thus I declare my choice is the Pixel Pro 6! I purchased one, my first time choosing a flagship phone , in Sorta Sunny.....And I think it's a piece of art, more particularly defined by its geometrical straight lines, gentle curves art deco design.

There is one Android feature that always gets overlooked: you can put app icons wherever you want, and even change the size. With certain launchers like Nova, you can actually overlap them. My Samsung is set up like a computer, or a physical desk: piles of related things where i want them. O have an area for streamers, one for shopping, one for ordering food, one for reading, i have my agenda on one edge with widgets around it I never move something and make other things spring off to other pages like in ios. iPhone 13 pro and max should get another point for sound quality. it's not how much loud it can get but the dynamic of the sound. iPhone is much clear and you can actually hear the bass.
Also not to mention the recording MIC, go ahead and record something at a live concert let’s say for an insta story. On any of those 3 devices. And let’s see which one will pick it up better. I guarantee the only one doing a good job There will be the IPhone.
I recently received my third P6 Pro for exchange but had to send it back due to the display lifting off from the lower left corner. I'm not sure if I should stay with the Pixel or not. It's a great phone, issues aside. It's just that battery life was never great on it, even after a factory reset without loading a back up, turning off 2G and 5G, disabling Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. Another issue is the bluetooth connection in my car. It always sounds like a scratched up CD for no reason. Then there's the double tap on the power button to launch the camera which puts on to my lockscreen without the background 60% of the time. Frequently crashing apps have also occured in the last few days as well as scrolling issues, where the phone won't let me scroll without behaving like it was submerged in water, which it obviously never was.
@@Infohazard321 The problem is that I need the camera a lot. When I touble tap it just gives me the lockscreen without the background. When I'm unlocking it, it just closes the camera app and goes to the home screen. I forgot to mention that my fingerprintscanner isn't working either.

Do you find yourself using the s pen much?
@@Suiiiiiiiiiiiiiii1 Absolutely! I do digital drawing frequently, and also use it to jot down notes rather than type them. It's been super helpful!
Recently updated from my dying Note 8 to an S22 Ultra 512gb and couldn't be happier. This device performs flawlessly although I expected much better battery life, as I still can't get through a full day without recharging. Excellent upgrade otherwise.
Eww

Given that Google owns Android, and they've made it part of their end goal, the P6P and beyond should get long term support that rivals apple sometime in the future along with increased security update frequency, this has yet to be seen though and is mostly hot air from Google, but tbh they're nearly ahead of Samsung and apple as far as security and privacy features are concerned, pretty generous considering Google's business model.

iPhone 13: Probably provides the best experience (UI, performance, photos and videos), but it's very closed and doesn't allow much customization.

A true ninja turtle fan.
dont you mean "objective"?
Daniel I see I have much to catch up on with reviews but it was nice to see on these three devices.Great photos they came out Nice.Thank so much for sharing Deb✌️
Long term android user here. Looking to upgrade the end of the month. Considering an iPhone 13 pro max... I'm aware the new one will be out but it will keep costs down if I don't get the latest one. Is it a good choice, or should I stick with android? (currently on a Huawei P30 Pro, best phone I have ever used, pains me to not get another Huawei)
I used Android especially Samsung for so many years and switched to Apple four months ago. The 13 Pro Max is an awesome phone. Fast and smooth, amazing battery life and a great cam. First iPhone experience and still love it.
It better should…$1500 for a phone is not cheap
@@aditya_gupta The S22 Ultra is more expensive.
@@leroyrs not at my place and it is better than ip pro max ...
@@aditya_gupta Better ? I like the zoom lense and the display with the punch hole of the S22 Ultra. But to be honest the performance even after the updates is pretty disappointing. It still lags from time to time (my brother has the Exynos version) and the battery life is not even close to the 13 Pro Max. So why should it be better - because you're a Samsung fan ? I don't get your point. At the moment I enjoy the smooth and flawless performance of my 13 Pro Max while my brother has to wait for further updates. :)
@@aditya_gupta I don't think a phone is "better" than anything if it needs a performance blacklist for 10'000 apps like twitter or Instagram.
At the end of the day, they are all good. It just comes down to the operating system.
Totally agree,it’s iOS vs android simples.
@tatsukialmologist One UI = bloatware
@tatsukialmologist iOS:

Yeah, just that!
Being a pro I care less for changing themes but I do want split screen apps like the iPad. The only feature I crave for, otherwise, I find nothing interesting or useful or better done elsewhere.

Which ever one you get out of the 3, you'll be happy, end of debate. Lol
4:20 Here, it turned out that the best and brightest screen belongs to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, not the Samsung S22 Ultra
There is one Android feature that always gets overlooked: you can put app icons wherever you want, and even change the size. With certain launchers like Nova, you can actually overlap them.
My Samsung is set up like a computer, or a physical desk: piles of related things where i want them. O have an area for streamers, one for shopping, one for ordering food, one for reading, i have my agenda on one edge with widgets around it
I never move something and make other things spring off to other pages like in ios.
Ios will do it eventually, what's taking so long?
Performance is key for me so I would have to go with the Google Pixel 6 Pro.
Id definitely go for a Samsung flagship if Android lures me. But coning from Andoid to iOS is not too shabby. 13 pro is the perfect pocket beast for me!
iPhone 13 pro and max should get another point for sound quality. it's not how much loud it can get but the dynamic of the sound. iPhone is much clear and you can actually hear the bass.
Also not to mention the recording MIC, go ahead and record something at a live concert let’s say for an insta story. On any of those 3 devices. And let’s see which one will pick it up better. I guarantee the only one doing a good job
There will be the IPhone.
@@catalinmariandunca2593 Bro I use s22ultra and my friend used iphone 12 and 13, I can tell you samsung beats iphone in everyway...

Detailed great review.
Thank you for that.
Gesture settings you can disable power button to camera
@@Infohazard321
The problem is that I need the camera a lot.
When I touble tap it just gives me the lockscreen without the background. When I'm unlocking it, it just closes the camera app and goes to the home screen.
I forgot to mention that my fingerprintscanner isn't working either.
Love my S22 Ultra! My 13 Pro max is just collecting dust at my desk lol.
Lol and who asked?
Can I have it?

Switched to the S21 Ultra to try Samsung's flagship after using the iPhone X for almost 4yrs. Ended up getting a 13 Pro Max after 9 months. Ease of use, and reliablity plus software support made me come back to iOS.
I’m an iPhone user used to use android but I loved the os so much and still love it and the ecosystem is amazing I can’t wait to see the iPhone 14 even though I’m going to stick with the 13 pro for a couple of years!
