Thanks for the video. I found this channel looking to research resorts prior to last years ski trip. Ironically we were in Borovets the week before you this year. This runs a necessary evil for the runs above it. I’d avoid the top part. The better long green is the Musala pathway down from the gondola, if open. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for showing a side of Borovets you don't normally see. Popular resort with British skiers as it's cheaper, but there are big ques, and that green run got crowded. Might go there in future, but will have to pick my date. Hope things are progressing with your van.
We travelled to Borovets in March 2022. We found that it was very, very popular with beginners and learners, so the ski area in front of the Rila hotel were rammed for the first half of the week. One positive to this was that the Gondola side was almost empty for 3 days. We had some great skiing on those long reds back to the Gondola. The night skiing was also fun, however we noticed that many skiers looked to have had too many drinks in-between them closing in the afternoon, and re-opening for night. So needed to be careful of these people.
Yes, it's popular with the Brits... the morning weather wasn't so good and as I walked past the gondola, the queue was large... so I skied the second half of the day only. I have the van back and made it to Bulgaria and back... so I've finished skiing in this region and heading to the Alps soon...
@@ChasingSnow Good, your van now has a clean bill of health, looking forward to the run recordings. BTW FWIW, today is 1 year to the day I had my fall and injury to my left knee which stopped my holiday, via a whiteout, icy patches and the boots I was sold being racing boots and totally unsuited to beginner skiers. 🤞It was a one off.
@@Puzzoozoo I wouldn't say clean bill of health but we are heading there... It's important to get the right kit, especially boots... there's nothing more distracting than an uncomfortable pair of boots... also, this time of season, the snow tends to be more on the icy side... I think you are much better prepared now so good luck with your next trip :-)
@@ChasingSnow Thanks. FWIW I've had my new Salomon boots for getting on for 1 year now. All broke in and with custom insoles. When I get my first ski's in April I'll have some new custom insoles put in the boots, as the ones I have will have had a year or so wear and tear.
Hello nice video can you tell me your settings for the GoPro hero 13 I have the same I just bought it and I am gonna use it on February to borovets and if you can tell me which directions are worth there and any tip about where to go to eat

Good to know and thanks for the tips... :-)

Yes, it's in the description... cheers!
Looks more like a walk way rather than a ski way.
Yes, it's probably a hiking track during the summer...
