@@tapioca181I’m glad it was helpful! I definitely recommend Langson library, Gateway center, Science library or ALP on campus! For off campus, I found the Starbucks in Campus plaza to be my favorite since it’s open until 12AM! Hope this helps! :)
I heard that you would apply for classes in spop. If I chose a later spop, will I have less classes to choose from? (speaking as a incoming freshman that knows nothing)
@@Qiqi762 Yes I did apply for my classes in the transfer SPOP. I think whether you are an incoming freshman or transfer, it doesn’t matter what SPOP you choose, you will have a section that’s specifically allotted for incoming students for your core major classes (not sure about electives), so I don’t think you need to worry about it! Hope this helps :)
If you’re referring to the math department, campus village is a good on campus option! Another option would be University Town Apartments, which are not school owned.
Comment down below any questions you have about UC Irvine! I'm happy to answer anything :)
Thank you for this video! This was super helpful and clear :) where are the best study spots?

On campus graduate accommodation is unfurnished, so where do students get mattresses table chair etc?
Yes, it seems the campus village is unfurnished! The best place to find furniture would be facebook groups like UCI for sale or Facebook marketplace!
Which housing is nearer to PhD math department classes?

If you prefer furnished apartments, Verano is a good “on-campus” option. It’s actually just off campus tho :)
is the politics of the campus moderate or is it far left wokeism?
I can’t really speak for the politics of campus but in my experience I would say it’s less political than some other colleges.
