Fantastic job by the Jet Blue crew keeping the nose up as long as they did.
Textbook
I'm going to see that the Pilot gets a little extra in his paycheck for that.
They made all the passengers go to the back of the plane. Well, maybe.
@BB Sky, GOOD ONE. 😄
@BB Sky they should have moved the pilots to the back of the plane too!
It's been said before, but...this channel doesn't need misleading titles to get views. Nice compilation anyway.
Loved the nose up on the Embraer. Looked like magic!
Agree 100%!

Your just mad it’s not even clickbait the wing literally did fall off
How is it misleading? The plane wing fell off.
Not misleading it did exactly what it said. Nothing more or less.
You don't have to lie to get people to watch. Falls off my foot it was cut off
It did fall off😊
Not a lie, but definitely misleading
@@nfullenwidertrue
It's a video about planes that you and I both enjoy, relax a little
Not a lie
As below, 'slightly' misleading title. Also, felt a little sad for the airplane being scrapped.
Really?
I saw it being cut.
Then I saw it falling off.
I love the a330 and Thomas Cook. Great service, plane ,livery
@@UselessGOAT555 Finances, not so much.
@@skydiverclassc2031 yea...
I dont get why a330s r getting scraped they fairly new
That's why they put the redundant 2nd wing on. Safety
That's actually insane keeping the nose up while slowing down like that. Unbelievable
Not insane at all. It's actually a procedure called aerodynamic braking.
Seems pretty logical.
Im surprised they slowed down that quickly just using reverse thrust and no brakes
Mc Bozo
You really know absolutely nothing about aviation and are certainly not a professional pilot yet you feel entitled to express totally ignorant opinion.
Why not say anything and people might think your intelligent. ..
The airplane doesn't stop producing lift as soon as the wheels touch the ground.
The wing fell off after it was cut off...get the description correct..
the plane landing with no nose gear was
OUTSTANDING ❣️
That Embraer landing was just perfect
That shitty feeling when you see a wonderful flying machine that flew hundreds of thousands of people safely become beer cans
As a beer drinker that wouldnt go on a thomas cook holiday if you paid me ill have to disagree.
Nah, a few screws and pop rivets, it’ll be OK. The rest will polish out!

(Scraper cuts off A330 wing)
Aerosecure: "It's still flyable. Put it into service."
Aerosecure hurts the A330, . that one kid: *BLISTER MODE*
Bit of duct tape…
Ryan air
"This is you pilot speaking. Apologies for the delay to our flight today but somebody has just cut the wing off".... 😂
"... But this action was mandated by management so that our aircraft will now fit in the new, smaller hangars."
"Plane Wing Falls Off" makes it sound as if it was an unexpected boo-boo, rather than a deliberate dismantling. No soup for you!
The pilot of the Embraer had a much steadier hand than the videographer. What was he pointing at?
Misleading Title
Flying in and out of SFO you see this quite often (both landing and taking off). It’s still awesome every time.
Yep. Parallel departures on the Rwy 1s and the parallel arrivals on the Rwy 28s. Great to see.

Do you plane spot at the little park across from the hotels by the water?
If you look closely you can see Pelosi's house.
So satisfied to have seen a first dual take off..
Felt happy with that smooth landing and keeping the plane balanced on just main gear for as long as the pilot did.. just brilliant.
Felt sad and sick to see planes getting cut up in their graveyard, so sad when you realise how many safe flights it would have provided to thousands of passengers.
Brilliant job by the pilots in keeping the nose up. Unfortunately same can't be said for the cameraman...
The camera person over-anticipated the nose touching the runway and pointed the camera too far downwards.
Pure joy, as always. This truly is the espresso of aviation shows!
So this video will have me shitting through the eye of a needle will it? As that’s what happens every time I drink coffee
Jet Blue what an amazing piece of airmanship really impressive.
This is the 2nd misleading tittle in a row.
The wing has NOT fallen off!
It did fall off after it was cut off.
@@daBEAGLE1017 💀
Agreed!
Utterly amazing job of keeping that plane's nose off the ground. Brilliant airmanship!
Just Pull …..just saying. 😎
JetBlue seems to have a lot of issues with nose gears.
Jet Blue seems to have a lot of that problem. Good thing their crews seem well trained. He even managed to get off the runway , wow.
Crazy! That TCX A330 was the very first wide-body aircraft I worked on. I can't even count how many times I worked with that exact airframe.
Soon I will start working on them, but as cabin crew!
@@themindset3329 congratulations.
That emergency landing was butter tho
You never fail to keep my interest. Great video! I miss the aviation world.
One of my favorite youtube channels
When the wing fell off everyone went silent love your vids
Shhhhhh, you're going to upset all the pedantic twits here abouts....
They got their panties in a bunch when it said 'fell off' when it so obviously was cut off.
After a long day I identify with the JetBlue.
Why jetblue always have prob in nose gear 🤣 and the pilots are always awesome
0:58 I feel like jetBlue has a lot of reputation with their nose landing gear.
the pilot without a nose landing gear did an outstanding job holding a heavy plane steady all that time whilst the person filming couldn't hold the camera or mobile straight for 1 second ! made me feel dizzy :P
So hurtful to see that wing voluntarily dismantled… 😭
jet blue doesn't exactly have the best relationship with their nose gears huh
I find it hard to beliieve that Cook charter A330 had so many hours that they just chopped it for beer cans.
It does seem a bit odd. At the very maximum it can only be 30 years old and many passenger planes much older than that are still flying. Plenty of 2nd and 3rd world airlines would be happy to buy it. Perhaps it was a bit of a lemon with endless technical problems.
"Holy crap Jim. What have you done?
I was pointing to that one over there, not this one..."
This Aircraft was brand new in 2000 maybe even 1999 as I flew it for Airtours as an F/O… don’t get how it can be scrapped. It was the pride of the fleet amongst some duff old 757 and 767’s that were 20+ yrs old then… the irony is that the Boeing’s are probably still flying aged 40yrs.
They went bankrupt in 2019; probably had to scrap what they couldn't sell.
@@dreameroftheday.8381 I was one of the crew at Gatwick (Airtours). So sad our 330s are gone. Some of the Boeing's are still flying. The 767s with amazon and a couple of the 757s, one with Northrup Grumman
It doesn’t even sound like it’s made of metal when it hits the ground, amazing
The dual take-off was great!
Der Parallel Start war besonders schön mit gefilmt worden!
That Embraer landing was smooth af!
That wing seems extremely light ... like one person can ease carry it away.
Thanks for the awesome Aviation video. Keep going
Why on earth did the fire crews not foam the runway for the stuck nose gear landing ? Surely that would make sense to reduce sparks
Why do landing gears get stuck? I thought they were designed to fall with gravity?
The control on that willy was amazing!
0:24 what material are they made off? sounds carboard-ish lol
also it was cut off, it did not fall on its own
Is it a Jet Blue thing to have a problem with the nose gear ? 🤣 Good job all the time!
"Plane wing falls off!" {he clicks, he reads} "while being scrapped"
Well played 👏👏👏👏
Loved that dual takeoff.....when the one was over the body of water it LQQKED like the reflection of the other plane! Cheesy to say but was cool nonetheless! Cheers From The Clouds In Ohio
Thank you 3MoA
Parallel landings and take offs happen all the time at SFO 28 R/L. I was there last weekend landing on 28.
I might have seen you land......I was plane spotting at the little park across from the runways by the water.😀
Happens at LAX sometimes too, though thier runways are a bit more spaced out so it's not as fun looking.
Are compressor stalls triggered by too much airflow ACROSS the engine inlet, and thereby disrupting the airflow through the engine or have I missed something entirely?
That was more than a stall, it was a surge. Probably ingested a bird or something and disrupted the airflow. A stall/surge occurs when the airflow from the compressor is unable to flow downstream because of excessive pressure in the hot section. It then barfs air out the front sometimes with flames coming out of both ends of the engine. It often breaks shit in the process. It's basically a turbine engine backfiring.
@@toomanybears_ I see, thank you for the clarification.
I operated on that A330 (G-MLJL) when I was cabin crew in the 90s with Airtours. So sad, I remember flying in to Sanford and all over the Caribbean on the 330s and 767s we operated 😥
That no nose gear landing was beautiful.
The jet blue landed smoothly than most other flight
Great job by the jetBlue crew!
I use to live near DF/W. I remember the announcement that they could do a quad take off on their four north/south runways. Very cool to wat h.
Wasn't that jetblue video with the nose gear from 2016?
What is it with Jetblue and their lading gears
0:27 - Ring... Ring....
Hello?
Did you get the mod to only remove the left wing?
......
She didn’t have to cut me off🤣
JetBlue good stuff. Remembering it’s the pilots at the pointy end when there’s no nose gear
What does the E190 mean? (In the e of its aircraft)
Title of video and first scene are of a wing being cut off a plane, technically not lying by putting 'falls off' but it's definitely click-bait-y and unneccessary
How you photoshopped-out the crane and workers from the first movie is awesome.
I felt that.
1:02 “oh look, a penny!” 😂 👌🏻 🔝
JetBlue be like: Not again!!
The parallel takeoffs and landings are okay, but if you want your own view or video, SFO is the place to go (as is usually the case with these videos). They're extremely common approaches and departures. I've seen numerous from the cockpit and cabin so if you go there, the side-by-sides are likely to happen while you're there. Plenty of other airports run parallels, but SFO has tightly spaced ones.
thank you
that last one wow loved to have seen that
SFO has the coolest configuration for watching drag races
This was a long time ago right?
How old was that A330? It hurts watching them cutting off the wing 😢
The aircraft is registered as (G-MLJL )
It's first flight was in 1999
It's 21 or 22 years of age.
Yep sad hey …got it in my Log Book. Some good trips on that beaut.
MLJL stood for Mike Lee and Juliet Lee… the then CEO of Airtours and his wife.
@@Levi-in8eq Ah ok that make sense, her time has come.
Awesome
From the perfect angle at 2:32 I felt that takeoff alittle in my stomach.
BEST vids
0:16 one way of parking more planes at Heathrow.
Nose gear landing was amazing !
Well Done!
For that last shot, with the other plane taking off... I couldn't help but tilt my head to try get a better view... :)
Great video!😸
Thomas cook a330 was being destroyed?
1:13 Wow! What a piece of work!
As a student pilot I got to land a Cessna beside a 747 Jumbo at Christchurch International Airport NZ. Totally amazing experience.
So Aerosucre now also offers passenger flights out of Medellin.
caseoh was sitting on that wing?
I was hopping clips from the Latam 1315 that was strike by a hail storm and lost his nose this week :/
Hopping?
Right, heavy turbulence also
Such a clickbaity title.
Why is it always on JetBlue?
2:00 you can already hear that the engine is not too happy before the bangs. I guess it's a failure of the VSV
Got a big negative on this video due to misleading title.
Respect to pilots
*SALUTE* to that JetBlue crew! That was amazing. It actually would have been a better lead (and title) than the misleading "wing falls off".
that title..... :|
I liked the parallel part.
Pizza for breakfast and 3 minutes of awesome.
