Can someone please help, i commented last night explaining how my girlfriend of 5 months who isn’t tech savvy fell for a scam, she’s got 3 disabled children and has just had over £7700+ stolen from her. She’s going into the bank today, i just thought someone would’ve seen my comment and been on it by now, i’ve been up all night and so has she, all i’m asking for is advice.

It's like these scammers feel entitled to their victims' money and they throw a tantrum when they realize they they won't get anything. It's satisfying hearing them have a legit meltdown over the phone!

My husband had a spammer on his cell phone and I had one on mine. We put the phones together so they could talk to each other. It took them almost 5 minutes to realize they were talking to someone from their own call center. It was hysterical and one of them thought it was funny when they figured it out which made the other furious. They both hung up so I don't know what happened after but I would have loved to be in that room.

My absolute fave character is the older man. That one comes across so naturally. Thank you for what you do to protect people…especially the elderly. I have an elderly mother and have gotten her out of 3 scams so far. These people are so cruel.

My sister just got an email today about someone wanting $600 for Ukraine. She said they were taking it out of a closed bank account that she used to have and using PayPal to take the money. I told it was more than likely a scam and don't call the number in the email. I told her to go on PayPal and see if any money was taken. She did and said no. I knew it had to be a scam when the email said it was coming out of a bank account that she no longer had. Saved her again. She's gotten scammed a few times already but got her money back. Now shew knows to call me if she even thinks it might be a scam. We are both older. I got scammed once myself and learned.

I joined this wonderful site because my own Mom was scammed out of thousands of dollars through the Amazon scam. They took advantage of my 87-year-old Mom, she passed in November, but had been taking advantage by one of these places before she passed. I was sick when I was watching one of the videos because of the way they talked to YOU (as an elderly woman). Thank you for shutting down these "workplaces" Much respect to you!
