Love the saucy wink at the end! Knickers always solicit a smile or laugh.

We donated to a museum my husband's great grandmother's complete wedding outfit. It included the no crotch drawers you showed in the first example.

Fun With Flags . . . felt like I was watching Sheldon and Amy record "Fun With Drawers". LOL

Everything was so beautifully made in the Victorian/Edwardian times!

I'm trying to get an understanding of late 1800s combinations from a beginner's POV. It's(the photo) my favorite out of all these.

Well presented funny how she found it hard to keep a straight face at the end! 👍

That was fascinating! I wonder why they were originally called 'drawers?'

They went into the bottom drawer. Unmentionables went there. Sorry, forgot to say, drawers is short for "under drawers". I asked my grandmother this same question, she was born in 1900. My other grandmother told me the same thing and she was born in 1892. Gotta go with experience on this one.

They were called "Drawers" because they were "Drawn up" (pulled up) onto the body.

Jazz is not as popular as it used to be.

Very interesting, as I enjoy history. But the jazz music was distracting

I enjoyed the history. I did NOT like the music. I think the narrative would be fine without background clashing music.

The.music didn't fit in with the times. It's distracting to watch you read, too. Interesting subject!

I agree! Always hard to hear through music!

The background music was an odd counterpoint to the subject of this video -- very incongruent. Please dispense with distracting audio choices; they absolutely RUIN the content.
