Love the last couple of videos man it’s always nice when you drop some knowledge on us you’re one of the most real guys I watch on UA-cam if not the most real guy it’s never been about the money or the fame just about helping everybody else out really appreciate everything you do man keep up the good work 🙏👍🇨🇦
It’s like an early Christmas with all the uploads u been posting man, thx for the hard work man I really appreciate u posting, it always make my day! ❤️❤️
I actually own the gsr head that was on the Da9, last i heard of it the motor was over revved and the block messed up and the guy sold me the head off the motor. Head is still in great shape, have it stored up for when i do b20v with my car.
K20's have more overall potential than a B20vtec setup but for a DA or an EF Chassis they are a really good option. If you put similar compression pistons as a k20 with a good set of cams, the B20vtec setup will put out similar HP and torque as a stock but tuned k20a2.
It depends on what you want with your build. If you are looking for a full drag race build, then the k24 is probably the best platform. If you are looking for a full interior PS/AC daily driver, the k20 is the best option because the whole thing will fit under the hood and still give you some ground clearance. There is no "best" engine, but there is a best group of compromises in order to accomplish what your end game is for your build. Of course if you already have a platform that started with a K series in it, you could do what I said above and go with a k24 but anything in an EF, EG, or EK, you are going to have clearance issues going to a K so the K20 is a great option for clearance and performance.
frdbtr would you be able to fully close the hood with a k20? It always looks like people have to use risers which I really don’t like the look of. I guess I could get over it eventually
@@sentree9857 I'm not exactly sure but I think with Hasport mounts there are 2 positions you can mount the engine and on the lower level it will clear the hood even with ac and ps.
Love the da9 videos so much I got one the same color and I'll be doing a b20v soon because your videos are detailed and easy to follow thanks for the awesome videos

I think I kill my b20b, I let it sit close to 2 week. I went to start it up, it start up good, then the car act like it was running out of gas. The car has gas in it, just sad day for me.
I asked a while ago why the DA was your favorite build and when I see you talk about it now I know. You must build another one.

Plus I was comparing displacement for displacement. Obviously the K24 has 400cc's more displacement putting it at an obvious advantage. :)

Why the check engine light turn on went rpm hit the red zone?
In most software for tuning Honda ecus you can set up the check engine light as a shift light at the optimal rpm
