I live in Chesapeake. Just got a kayak today. Can’t wait to hit the water ASAP! I also just subbed to your channel. Question: Thinking about getting a go pro myself. Idk much about them. But I’ve noticed you make some lengthy videos. How do you keep a it powered for so long? Single battery? Multiple? External power?
Appreciate the comment and sub! GoPros are a necessary evil in the world of fishing content creation. For power, I run an external power bank and have a cable running to it for the whole trip, so long as the battery life percentage is below 80%. It'll overheat and power off if the battery is almost full and has a power source connected. Key is to get a replacement battery compartment door with the cut out for the USB C cable so the whole compartment isn't wide open. YOLOtek makes the one I use but there's other brands that make them for various versions of GPs such as the 8, 9, 10, etc. Let me know if that helps, or feel free to shoot a direct message with any questions at any time.
