One thing remember from OG Wotlk is that Rogue was insanely squishy class , thus playing with one was stressful and felt like you need to be a pro by default to succeed compared to some other classes ...
Thank you man for this, rogue my best class. Playing from wow classic on rogue and all time that i spent on this class i play only pvp so your guide very useful for my comeback in wotlk classic
I had a question. Actually i'm a main warrior dps and i ever fight against rogue at pvp, But why sometimes when i hit rogue my hit is just miss tho my hit rating is capped 8%. And I know that rogue has evasion skill (50%dodge) but how is that possible every time i hit them always got miss although the evasion skill has 3 mins cooldown.
Hmm is expertise cap really worth it in pvp? Like i'm thinking you can always Shadowstep kidneyshot, to land Guranteed Kidneyshots. When you have shadow dance up Since cheapshot can't ever be dodged, parried or blocked. However it is possible to miss with it. I've had some games where i lose due to the fact of gouge getting parried, but idk i just get the feeling that you're loosing to much attackpower to compensate for expertise capped in pvp.
Expertise is definitely worth going for, you don’t want to be getting parried during your fights whenever you can’t stun them - a good player will always be facing you, unless they’re stunned
you can't favor 3 stats at the same time, either you sacrifice arpen and you keep ap and resilience or one of the three at least davo6du t10 277 to keep a little arpen
you never want to use deadly poison as a subtetly... how are you gonna control your targets if you have DP up on them? Sub rogue is all about control and burst, maybe in rare cases you want DP for warriors or to keep a stealth class out of stealth, but it's a bad tip. It's not a bad video but there's several things that are not correct.
So I used Deadly for the extra DoT damage, that's my personal choice! Though you can swap Deadly for Instant or something else for sure for allowing Gouge and Blind
@@itsego_tv Sub uses wound and crippling, that's about it. Wound on main coz it procs on major abilities like cheap shot (vital) and crippling on off-hand. There's no other poisons that are good for sub in pvp.
@@itsego_tv TYVM for all the answers mate! So, we deicided to play SPR + ROGUE... we are currently at 1400 rating with 60% win rating... we are havgin a blast, but the comp is damn hard to play, no mistakes can be done!
@@itsego_tv sub rogue for me is the way to go. I switchet often between combat and assa whyle pve until I got the right daggers. So the fun can begin ^^
What do you think the best race for horde is? Undead for fear trinket, blood elf for instant silence and energy, or orc for stun resist and blood fury?
Great short video. So do poisons only proc on normal attacks or they can proc on abilities too? If they can proc on abilities then wouldn't it be better to have deadly on main hand even if it’s a slower weapon?
Great question and I’ve been doing some research to try and get a definitive answer and I believe they proc off abilities too yes. So the reason you’ll always want deadly in your off-hand is because your main source of damage isn’t your poisons as a Sub, you gain more utility from them than anything so you’d want Wound on your main to ensure constant application
@@itsego_tv Yeah they're utility indeed. Tbh personally I'm not yet convinced to spend 2 points on Waylay talent so I use crippling and wound anyways. I was just curious about the procs though. thanks for letting me know... Btw, Deadly can break gauge or blind, I guess, So if one wants to use deadly just as a bit of extra damage, instant can also be good.
You won’t always be behind your target, there are times where you may be in front of them, not to mention, you can also be dodged - a good PVPer will always be facing you unless they’re stunned

@@jessiesfrosties Great notes thanks!
Thanks!
Hi, thanks for the video! Did you also make one about setting the interface like the one you use?
No I haven’t but that’s a great idea!!
which talent u use the most?
Everything in the guide is used all the time.
For skills tho I use Cheap Shot a lot lol
for expertise, is that 40-60 rating or points? i assume rating but wanted to confirm lol
Dumb question but is there any use out of shiv? I was going to keybind it but it seems like it's take up space. I almost never click it.
If you need a quick Crippling Poison application to slow down a target, Shiv is great for it :)
@@itsego_tv cool thanks for the response! I was talking to some other rogues and it seems like it gets some very marginal use
I appreciate your comment, I love to reply!!
Yeah it has some uses but it won’t be used in EVERY single fight lol
thx for guide bro
Thanks so much for the comment :)
Do you think PREG/ROGUE Works better than RET/ROGUE?
For 2v2 I honestly think Ret works nicely but you really want a disc priest

You're trolling with the deadly poison on off hand, right?
I may have made an error on the poisons, you may not want to use deadly at all and go for Crippling and Wound
Rouge and Frost Mage, verry nice Combo.
where i can buy Arcanum of Triumph?

Hey Ego, Have you ever tested if Ambush while dancing benefits from Lethality talent?
I don’t believe it does because it requires you to be stealth unfortunately :(
@@itsego_tv I also thought so. But I in this video (ua-cam.com/video/vweJMfoW-oY/v-deo.html) Shobek says it does affect Ambushes during dance.
see after 4:10 on his video

Orc for stun resist and blood fury because will and trinket share a cd
@@devincowden9017 they have a 45 sec CD share that’s true, I also just prefer undead for the looks lol
