    Seriously your explanation and the way you explain the science behind the drug is way better than those incompetent doctors who don’t know anything about the drugs that they prescribe to patients. I’m very impressed and thanks for the video

    I have been on Viberzi for months and it has helped drastically with regulating symptoms of IBS-D. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis as well, and was having big problems with my stomach before this medication. I tried so many different prescriptions and this one is the first that actually helps. It is covered by my insurance, but I am worried that eventually they will stop covering it. Hopefully that doesn't happen. To me this is a miracle drug.

    Thank you for this video. I always try to research a drug before I start taking . I've been taking viberzi for about 2 weeks and it instantly changed my life for the better. I've had crohns and UC and intestinal surgery in the passed so I've been on all kinds of different drugs with no luck. Viberzi is a game changer for me works amazing. I've had side effects that don't seem to be talked about on the bottle or online. I've had slightly dry mouth and eyes and with aching joints or muscles. But its very tolerable and well worth it. Luckily my insurance covers it because retail was 1552.99 for a 1 month supply.

      I am so, SO happy that Viberzi has been such a wonderful medicine for you with tolerable side effects that are totally worth its benefits! Having my own history of health issues, I can understand how much is behind a simple statement like "I've had Chrohn's and UC and intestinal surgery" -- sincerely, my heart is so happy to hear that Viberzi is improving your quality of life so palpably ❤️
      And thank you for so openly sharing about your side effects and your finances -- I'm hopeful that someone else reading the comments section will find your comment helpful!
      Wishing you the best 🤗

    Viberzi has been a game-changer for me. Its like by bowels are 20 yrs younger (how things used to be). I love this drug. The only side effect I had was gas - and that went away over time.
    Now here is something more interesting. Since the pandemic, I have reduced my viberzi (cause I am home not going anywhere like everyone else). While at the same time I have started intermittent fasting (1 meal a day - dinner - 3x/wk), as well as dramatically cutting down my sugar/carbs. For the last couple of months, I have been doing a 24-36hr fast every other week....while again....trying to do keto...but....its really just low carb/sugar (I am working myself up to keto).
    So...I have been doing intermitant fasting now for 6 mos. I have lost 20lbs (20 more to go) and I have stopped my viberzi completly. I have found that so long as I stick to one meal a day (for the most part) - my stool is damn near perfect. When I stop the intermitant fasting....it gets loose again.
    Just sharing my experience.

      Thank you so, so much for sharing your experience so openly in this comment! I really appreciate it, and I'm hopeful that someone reading the comments section will feel inspired to play with his/her diet for better IBS management 💛
      I am SO happy that intermittent fasting/OMAD has calmed your system/helped you get off of Viberzi! The science behind fasting is FASCINATING. Bodies are capable of so much healing and self-regulation. I wish modalities like fasting/OMAD would get more exposure in the mainstream, but you can't patent not eating 3 meals a day... alas.
      Congratulations on your healing/weight-loss! Wishing you the best 🤗

    I had 2 different insurance plans approve this it’s not cheap but there are coupons. Do you know if it affects the bladder? I saw some reviews stating it gave people UTIs and I started having them too after taking it for 3 months so I stopped. Year and a half later I still get them and my bladder is so sensitive now.

    • @PelvicEmpowerment
      @PelvicEmpowerment  4 роки тому +1

      That's a really good question. I don't know if it affects the bladder, but medications affect people in different ways -- I wouldn't be surprised if you aren't alone in your experience. I'm so sorry that a year and a half later you're still experiencing UTIs and a sensitive bladder.
      A few things to share:
      1. Do you know what kind of bug causes your infections? If it's E. coli, it might be helpful to look into a supplement called d-mannose. D-mannose has changed my life, and essentially made my history of chronic UTIs (always caused by E. coli) a thing of the past. If you want to learn more about my experience with d-mannose, you can check out:
      - this 2019 update video: ua-cam.com/video/06SLcpnU9cc/v-deo.html
      - or this FAQs blogpost: www.pelvicempowerment.com/uti-faqs/
      2. Have you ever heard of pelvic physical therapy? Sometimes bladder sensitivity has to do with your pelvic floor muscles and the way they respond to certain stimuli (medications). Sometimes muscles return to their baseline easily, other times they need help "remembering" what they used to do/how they used to behave. A good pelvic PT would be able to assess your pelvic floor, surrounding musculature, and lifestyle to tailor interventions to your unique presentation. If you live in the US, you can use this directory to find a provider near you: pelvicrehab.com
      I wish you the best, and I hope you find your healing soon 💛

      @@princesskp2195 I'm really glad you're doing your best to take care of yourself ♥️
      I know it may not be that helpful to hear, but embracing trial and error has really helped me cure "mysterious, chronic" conditions that I've had in the past. Don't give up. You deserve to feel peace in your body and mind.

    Hey torry....I would love your view on Overflow dhiorhea (spelling) and perhaps if you can do some gut micro biom....
    I didnt have much luck with fecal transplant...but it was tablet form and it's the least effective...other options are NG and Enema..enema being the most effective....

    • @PelvicEmpowerment
      @PelvicEmpowerment  4 роки тому +1

      NG? I didn’t know that! I’m sorry yours wasn’t a success 😔 and thank you for the requests! I’ll absolutely add overflow diarrhea-and more on the gut microbiome is already on the list 💛

    • @andrewjames4346
      @andrewjames4346 4 роки тому

      @@PelvicEmpowerment yea it comes in three forms...1 freeze dried and encapsulated in gastro resistant pills (least effective). 2 NG 'nasogastric' a liquid solution is pumped beyond the stomach into the small intestine unlike a traditional NG that terminates inside the stomach, obviously we don't want poop in there hence the NG is passed into the small intestine...3 Enema, the same solution is pumped at a higher volume into the large intestine from the rear and is held for a period of time (this is by far the most direct, efficient and effective mode of transplant!) It's literally nothing more than poop from a "healthy" (typical) person that's blended with water that's it!
      I recomend labeling your blenders...if you only have one I recommend buying another..smoothies will never taste the same again!
