It's not a popular opinion but 278 never agreed to their plan. So she wasn't wrong there. Shouldn't be forced to do something. Mai did the same exact thing in the very next game, so it seems hypocritical. I do think 278 should have kept going when it was her turn and stuck with her plan of not participating in the group's decision.
@@ladadee4175I agree. She should have kept going herself. If she had done that, she would not be so disliked because she stuck to her word of not agreeing with the plan. However, it's because she didn't do that and was quick to agree to the plan when it benefitted her that she got so much backlash. Plus she called another player stupid in the confessionals for going along with the plan prior to agreeing to do it herself. I also agree that it's a little hypocritical of Mai to try and eliminate Ashley when they all agreed to roll for themselves. However, I believe she only did that because she knew everyone supported Ashley and if she told anyone about her plan they would likely all agree to attempt to eliminate her. My main gripe is with all of the players acting like what Mai did is any worse than what Ashley did. No one would acknowledge Ashley's actions at all and acted like Mai's decision came out of nowhere, and even Ashley herself played innocent. The gaslighting was so surreal to see.
@@ladadee4175 "It's not a popular opinion but 278 never agreed to their plan. So she wasn't wrong there." What made her wrong is expecting others to jump after she made the right jump. I don't think it was hypocritical what Mai did. The tile game was an entirely different from the dice game. Each player has a 1/6 chance to vote someone or themselves out unlike the tile game where each player only has 50-50 chance to survive. Plus her reason for doing it made it was 100% valid. I loved Mai’s story in the show. She made decisions that were not popular, she put herself in the firing line and then she strategised and she held her ground. She made mistakes, misread people, and she showed love to people. I’m happy she won. Being a refugee and considering what her family did to her I really felt for her as well.
Mai came into this game like a Goddess of War. Like she is Athena herself. She came in with Strategy, Wisdom, and perception. There was lent a single person she could not read without ever talking to. She knew exactly what she was doing the whole time. Like it was her craft
I hope Mai gave TJ some money because he directly helped her make it to the end on more than one occasion! And to think she didn't like or trust him at first.
I read somewhere that the player contracts stipulated that the winner was not allowed to give other players any money (probably to avoid a situation where a team makes an agreement to split the cash).
Mai was someone that I did not focus on until leading up to the final episodes. When it first started; I was so hyper fixated on Trey and Leanne. But there was just something about Mai that I saw empathy and sympathy for after every episode that mainly focused on her a lot.
She kind of did come out of no where. She just suddenly appears midway through the show after the main antagonist is defeated. She did carry the torch Trey was forced to drop though.
I always knew that people start to underestimate Mai and blindly worship TJ just like how this society would. Mai took advantage of it and survived the first half by not looking like a threat and survived the second half by showing her true strength and players literally avoided to challenge her. Cool af! 🎉
So they should have worshipped Mai is what youre saying? Tj is the one who stepped up alot and encourages people. Who do you think 5hey were gonna support?
Thanks for posting this, i didnt watch the show, and I only wanted to see the show from Mai’s perspective. ❤ I didn’t even realize I wanted that until I saw the video in the recommended. You gave the people what they want, you’re a true UA-camr.
Mai is a fine winner. Obviously she did some questionable acts there at the end, but it is part of game. Would love to see Rolands reactions to watching this.. I would've been fine with any of the circle of trust competitors winning, except Ashey probably. Ashley seemed to have a malicious part to her selfishness.
Theres plenty of mixed opinions, however the fact is they edited it crazy before got to know each other. So her saying she didnt trust me was before we had a heart to heart. Me and Mai are great friends, she is part of my family and i am a part of hers. Thank all of you for tuning in! Tj out!!
“I immediately felt that clique-y shit” yeah cause you showed yourself immediately as someone who would take a THREE time advantage selfishly and then push others down.
I was rooting for Mai especially after Leann and Trey got out. She became my favourite especially since SHE PLAYED THE GAME! There was strategy there! So many players were just coasting through with their alliance and yeah that’s a strategy but hers was better and she’d cut a throat if needed.
Mai played everybody she insulted TJ and he picked her then she put the box on Roland desk and sent him home……… the only thing she understood that the others kept forgetting is that only one person can win the game
A lot of people criticise her for not trusting TJ until it suited her and not trusting anyone when it suited her but unlike Ashley I think she was truly justified. The English girl had a really good plan to get herself through by forcing a girls alliance during the late-game but she didn’t account for some of the girls having guy friends they prioritise (e.g Mai with Chad). When TJ chose Mai to stay, Mai had to prioritise her friend over a shaky alliance which the girls felt like she was throwing the alliance under the bus. Furthermore, she did say she didn’t trust TJ but TJ trusted her a lot and when she saw that she was happy to trust him back. TJ, Mai and Chad would easily be the strongest team at the end if TJ survived the glass bridge even if most of the girls alliance survived. Mai played her alliances really well but was too friendly with all the sides that wanted her which forced her to choose so of course people are gonna question who she stands with. It’s not like Ashley who suddenly wants to be everyone’s friend and a team player as soon as she’s on the chopping block which is ultimately a dick move.
Ashley seems like a really cool person in "real life". She even said in an interview that she couldn't believe the things she said on camera. However, my problem with Ashley is that she was not a team player, nor a strong character, nor a particularly interesting character. At one point I found myself rooting for her wife (when she was still in the game), although after what happened on the tile bridge, I don't understand what she was trying to accomplish? Crying, being a victim, putting herself under so much stress only to clearly show her true colors in the end? Every single player has paid for their betrayal in this game, but Ashley's betrayal had gone unnoticed. Also, Ashley got revenge on Mai for nominating her for elimination and still tried to convince Mai that she was in the right and that she was "crying out for teamwork". I don't get it. Even after the match was over, Ashely still thought she played fair and square? Girl, not sure if it was the water, the food or the plain air, but the delulu in that person was unbearable to watch...
She got so corrupted, maybe she didn't ever learn in school how to think for herself. Not only was she acting maliciously it was incredibly idiotic, she was number 5 in her position she should have taken the deal and done one jump without a second thought if not from the godness of her heart then to save her own face. But at least she made a good villan 😆
Karma is a bitch! Everyone that sided with Ashley and not Mai got what they deserved. Mai played the game without talking trash or using any foul language and not being disrespectful to anyone. She played the game well right to the end.
Yeah 😂 I think Ashley smuggled in one of those Men In Black memory-erasing pens inside (the same way the irritating woman in the show smuggled in some cigarettes!). It’s the only thing that makes any sense to me…
I thought some european dude after kicking a soccer goal? What is this? I don’t remember seeing her. But I love her. A Mai vs Ashley finale showdown would’ve been so iconic. The way Mai said somewhat threateningly that she can see through people and can sense their guilt 😂
Shows like this are better because of villains like Ashley. Anyone trying to say she’s a horrible person just because of the way she played Squid Game needs to get a grip.
Mai wasn’t innocent either she played dirty, but they definitely should have backed her up on getting Ashley out she even admitted she could no longer hide.. they should have kept making her jump
Ashley is the most selfish player of this edition. She is also the DENIAL QUEEN. She felt she’s gonna make it till the end, but thankfully, she got eliminated. But I also didn’t like Mai’s way of sacrificing Roland in the Circle of Trust. 😢 She’s just a strategic player and in the end, that’s how she won.

yup, and the fact that they are placed in an environment entirely different from reality. it’s hard to trust anyone when you don’t know what agendas they have (like how dash was backstabbed by that one girl)
Because the internet. People are either villains, or they’re heroes to The Internet ™. They’re only allowed to have the character arc You allow them, if they go off script they’re Fake.
Ashley cost Trey a decent shot at that 4.6 Mil. Like girl he jumped 3x you jumped once, then expected everyone else to jump ahead of you as agreed. Only when it was convenient for you. Glad Ashley lost, I would not want my life in that girls hands ever.
How dare she cause other people to lose when her only goal was to win? She didn’t break any rules so why are y’all really hating on her?
@@Kdb73289 Because she's a b*tch who acted as if what she did to "win" wasn't sh*tty. She didn't want to play by the plan of the entire team, but she participated ONLY when it benefited her. Then she gaslit Mai for calling her out. She was selfish and toxic. That's plenty of reason to hate her.
@@Kdb73289because she ruins her own chances aswell w her stupid plan but also ruins someone else his chances?
@@rolef6084 how? The whole team instantly forgave her and when she did get eliminated, it had nothing to do with the bridge game. You do realize the purpose of the game is to outlast other people yet you’re here complaining she put herself first and didn’t sacrifice herself over a stranger?! Insane. Mai won because she also put herself first over strangers she’ll never talk to again.
@@Kdb73289 she instantly got forgiven by most of the group but you take a big risk you can also not get forgiven. Saying well she got forgiven so its smart is purely basing it off hindsight.
And the reason why its stupid was cuz she did not even improve her own chances in the bridge game. Everything Mai did did improve her chances.
And saying it wasnt cuz of the bridge game is also a bit wrong as she and mai were the 2 most stand out players cuz of it making you an easy target to pick in the box game, but once again ur just talking from hindsight again as there was a decent chance there was gonna be a u can choose who u want to eliminate game again, where shed be a big target.
So happy that Ashely didn't make it to the finals and Mai won. As Ashley said, karma is a bi*** 🤣
Lol ikr
Mai is disgusting as well and hypocrite. Talking bad about Tj, breaking her alliance. She would have done the same thing if it was needed. She's just as disgusting
@@bpistherevolutionsince2021 first of all she never really agreed to make an alliance and at least she learned not to talk bad abt tj but Ashley didn’t even feel guilty when Trey lost because of her
@@KlaudiaSunbeach I don't believe one bit that that apology was genuine. Because Trey never did anything bad to her yet she had the most bad things to say about him. But because he saved her butt she all of a sudden is so appreciative. I think she would have betrayed him in a heart beat if she needed. Also she did agree to be in an alliance. Because when it came time to pick she would have never said "Ik we women promised to stick tgt" If she didnt agree why would she have thought that....Make it make sense
@@bpistherevolutionsince2021 Anything you could say bad about Mai, Ashley is worst! So if you don't like disgusting people then stop defending Ashley.
It’s so satisfying that Ashley’s biggest enemy was the winner.
Mai was the voice this show needed. Ashley almost got away with murder, but mai was there to send her packing
She was meant to win the game. When you're on the right path to your destiny, no matter how many odds are against you, you will reach the end of that path. And she played the game well, can't be mad at her.
She manifested the win.
Exactly she won 🎉
I bet Mai knew the picnic would lead to marbles bc she woud've been with Chad since they were the closest.
Honestly though I found it bizarre that almost everyone was so quick to pair up with their closest ally, like they all watched the original show right? Mai and Chad were some of the only ones who didn’t
Mai knew. She is smart
I thought the same thing and Mai mentioned she studied the original show.
@@highonsugar6273honestly i think of myself as pretty smart and tactical but i never thought of that happening until the reveal. I think they did it very smart
@@highonsugar6273cuz it was just supposed to be a picnic...
I was literally giggling and kicking my feet when Ashley got eliminated, top ten moment of the show😂
That's only top 10? What did you do for the best moment?
I hate how they just forgot about 278's betrayal
I knew she wasn't pickin no girls over sleeper Chad ha
@@ladadee4175
"It's not a popular opinion but 278 never agreed to their plan. So she wasn't wrong there."
What made her wrong is expecting others to jump after she made the right jump.
I don't think it was hypocritical what Mai did. The tile game was an entirely different from the dice game. Each player has a 1/6 chance to vote someone or themselves out unlike the tile game where each player only has 50-50 chance to survive. Plus her reason for doing it made it was 100% valid. If Ashley didn't want to play by the group's decision, then their plan shouldn't include her.
@@richsalazme true , if Ashley wants to play the game her own way, then do it (until the game is finished) Why then onboard with team plan suddenly?. The dice game, does not need team work, it was an individual game (as it was supposed to). I don't know why they agree to risk themselves out on that game. I find it dumb. They could have save themselves by just picking 3 people to eliminate.
I’m happy she won. I loved her and resonated with her throughout the whole show. She was highly intelligent, intuitive, and tactical. I genuinely admire her. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind at the same time and I absolutely loved it. Mai deserved winner ❤️❤️❤️❤️
She's also a traitor and hypocrite. So people just bashing Ashley is pushing me off. Mai ain't innocent one bit eithrt
@@bpistherevolutionsince2021 why do I keeping seeing you in every comments dissing her? It is what it is, she is the winner, period.
@@hainamnguyen5395 cause I hate when people try to pin one person as the bad person. Yall don't like Ashley cuz she hurt someone that many people loved including Me. Meanwhile here's Mai betraying many people and no one has anything to sat

I'm happy that the winner of this game is a women, and even a grandma!
Double standards much? Imagine a man saying he is glad the winner is a man. The pig and misogynist accusations would be raining down on him 😂
Same, watching the frat boys in the beginning, flexing their physical strength and bullying others thinking they would dominate through brute force. Women's intelligence and skills, esp older women, are often underestimated, but Mai was able to gain the respect of some of the strongest male players there.
@@royeryit’s most of the time a man. Can we just for once be happy without a man destroying it
This game has nothing to do with gender like dame! It's every person for themselves
@@1amissingnono one is underestimating woman's intelligence what are you talking about.the boys that were flexing.they are just like that as a person not because they are male
@@thesaltycobra Ohh okay, that makes sense.... but that sucks 😩
17:52 Phill (451) said it best: “I respect the hell out of you, Mai”; she’s a gangster
So glad Ashley didn't win after how she did Trey
Mai was someone that I did not focus on until leading up to the final episodes. When it first started; I was so hyper fixated on Trey and Leanne. But there was just something about Mai that I saw empathy and sympathy for after every episode that mainly focused on her a lot.
She kind of did come out of no where. She just suddenly appears midway through the show after the main antagonist is defeated. She did carry the torch Trey was forced to drop though.
TJ was a great guy. He really backed up his character by supporting Mai.
She deserved that win. She did not deserve having to get it through THIS absolute train wreck (then again maybe war prepared her)
The train wreck is the game, people need to grow up and realised that is how real life works.
Totally deserved.
Asian women rock.
❤❤❤
The last 2 deservred the finals! Congratulations 🎉
Ashley, queen of GASLIGHT
I always knew that people start to underestimate Mai and blindly worship TJ just like how this society would. Mai took advantage of it and survived the first half by not looking like a threat and survived the second half by showing her true strength and players literally avoided to challenge her. Cool af! 🎉
So they should have worshipped Mai is what youre saying? Tj is the one who stepped up alot and encourages people. Who do you think 5hey were gonna support?
She is the best
Thanks for posting this, i didnt watch the show, and I only wanted to see the show from Mai’s perspective. ❤ I didn’t even realize I wanted that until I saw the video in the recommended. You gave the people what they want, you’re a true UA-camr.
You’re welcome! Thanks for the props!
The best player won. Absolutely no doubt.
They were ganging up on Mai when ashley did everyone dirty (esp. Trey) on that glass bridge
Yup agreed
Mai definitely deserved that win!
And Ashley saying Mai deserve that Karma and she lost Chad. Hahaha I mean she wonnnnn.
Mai is so great, she went in there to play! And she played it so right! That whole team work stuff is why everyone else left. Go Mai!
Ashley talking about putting bad vibes out there😂😂😂
She lied. She pretended. She betrayed. She strategized. She’s a winner!
I was rooting for Mai especially after Leann and Trey got out. She became my favourite especially since SHE PLAYED THE GAME! There was strategy there! So many players were just coasting through with their alliance and yeah that’s a strategy but hers was better and she’d cut a throat if needed.
Ashley is soooo irritating!!
Mai played everybody she insulted TJ and he picked her then she put the box on Roland desk and sent him home……… the only thing she understood that the others kept forgetting is that only one person can win the game
Watching this almost make me cry ggwp ❤ love the content
Thanks, appreciate it!
TBH soon as her background was revealed I knew she'd be in the final game. It was obvious
Military training
You did it, Mai!! ❤
Mai is the best 🥰 I cried when she won, I totally agree that she was one of the wisest in the challenge !
Mai was Wise, Cunning, Strategically Superb, bit cruel in that blindfold round, basically she had everything to win this game.
Damn you Chad lol😂 the most dramatic scene, give her an Oscar
I can Safetly say the right person won. Mai is a fucking baller!
was rooting for 016 to win totally not because he is a artist but i think Mai deserved to win
I hope she gives 182 a nice vacation or something lol
yeahhhhh~ I loved her in the Circle of Trust that is some crazy Psychology there you can't fake it (like what Ashley did)
I WAS SO MAD THEY DIDNT VOTE ASHLEY OUT

Mai was very emotional and cried a lot throughout the show. It seems like the most emotional people are the winnere in Squid Game tournaments.
I love that she says let the best man win she a og fr she a btch to go against but a whole ass gangster woman or man
Mai well deserved winner. Extremely strong headed and very smart.
She is so tough

Karma is a bitch! Everyone that sided with Ashley and not Mai got what they deserved. Mai played the game without talking trash or using any foul language and not being disrespectful to anyone. She played the game well right to the end.

I just hope that Mai will finally get her money now that she made it well known Netflix hasn’t paid her yet…
TJ and Mai were so wholesome
This was so emotional 😉😊😇😔😭
Shows like this are better because of villains like Ashley. Anyone trying to say she’s a horrible person just because of the way she played Squid Game needs to get a grip.
Only thing I didn’t like about Mai was her doing TJ dirty.
I knew mai was going to win she played it smart
I am amazed by her wit 👏
Mai wasn’t innocent either she played dirty, but they definitely should have backed her up on getting Ashley out she even admitted she could no longer hide.. they should have kept making her jump
People were trying so hard to look woke on camera, that they provided Mai the perfect spotlight to show her authenticity and well-deserved win. 😂
(After Trey and TJ left)😭Her win was too obvious. Besides Bee the only other person who got attention was Ashley😭
i find her so fucking cool like holy shit what massive respect do i have.
I didnt like how she did TJ and how he went to bat for her at every opportunity. I would love to know what he thinks after watching this show back.
Darling ,its a solo game with cashprize at the end. If you wanna make friends ,theres everyday in lifetime to make it .... They started to act and put rules about friendship then watch MAiï like wtf 😂😂. Its not a friendship camp .
They eliminated others earlier by being in final and noone of them said ..fuck im so guilty , let me switch with my body wich got eliminated earlier cause he ddidnt deserved it anf i loved him . I could have jumped before him but nah i left him . 😂😂
But now they like , lets hug and be friends 😂.
Even if MAï didnt win , noone of them would give his money for friends they made in this game .

Called her as the winner episode 1….if you watch survivor you know about the Kelly edit …very similar method used by production to hide her yet show us who she was early
It’s very interesting how the editing went because you don’t really notice her until the end, so is that a decision of the executives because like they would give it away right of who won I mean, I think she was a good player, but in the circle of trust she should’ve got eliminated, but Roland messed up Because I’m pretty sure he had a feeling cause he even says it anyways If it had to be anybody, I guess glad it was her
I started to think it was scripted after the bridge. And....of course Mai would win because it's the best story. Lol!
Its edited of course she has a great story line she’s the winner
She’s suing them because she hasn’t been paid her prize.
Am I the only who realized they didn’t blur the bank card numbers
