Summarizing the Pink Sauce controversy as a "packaging mistake" is like referring to Chernobyl as a maintenance issue. Technically correct but downplays the hell out of what really happened.
This shows that she's not set to be a business owner. She completely gaslights a customer on a talk show just because she criticized her business. All she did the whole time was played the victim and not owning up to her mistakes.
I’m also concerned about the talk show host tbh. How can you so blatantly take the dumbest side and just harass the only reasonable person here when you’re supposed to be an influential figure?
When he said “no i think it’s more on your part.” I was genuinely SO SURPRISED. How’re you going to blame the customer for what the business messed up for?
Especially with serious things like potentially causing botulism. She was literally potentialy feeding people bacteria that produces *neurotoxin* but hey lets kill the messanger as we always do!
I say this as a Black man, but I genuinely think the reason the audience is clapping for her is because she is a Black guest on a Black talk show standing up to the "Evil White woman attacking her product". The Pink Sauce woman is absolutely taking advantage of that fact, whether the audience knows it or not.
It's so insanely obvious that's what's going on here and it's disgusting, people should not be treated better or worse for their skin color, she rode the "small startup business", "black owned business", and "female business owner" hype, got free marketing, and then proceeded to be defended because of her skin color, if she was white she would not have been given so much blind favouritism from the host of this show. She had the absolute perfect recipe for manipulating people into buying stuff from her but was not qualified in the slightest to fulfill that. I really hate to point this out but it is what it is.
I was just about to make the same comment because everything she said made absolutely no sense. The white lady presented sound logic and then both the POC proceeded to gang up on her victim blaming her ffs.
The biggest frustration is the fact that the host and the audience sided with the pink sauce creator. Being in that room with that many degenerates must've felt like an alternate reality.
@@johnsonjunior547 It's because talk show audiences are told when to applaud and when not to applaud. How people turned this into a race thing is baffling.

I feel so bad for the blonde woman, all she did is get the sauce tested and gave genuine constructive criticism and still got bullied and manipulated horribly on the show. I think he's supposed to be some kind of Dr. Phil ripoff which is also not the show to be discussing this topic on. I really am curious to the guys motivations in making this
Out of all the ppl who criticized the sauce, they singled out the nicest one and brought her onto the show so they could make her the villain of the story. And the way Pii behaved, grabbing her hand and speaking down to her like that? I would not have been so calm and respectful.
I love how when he asks "why are you getting emotional" she has ABSOLUTELY no clue. she went in prepared to fake cry and didn't even consider why she's crying
I think she expected more pushback and was prepared to use the ol' waterworks. When the host turned out to be on her side she didn't change her initial plan even though it no longer made sense.
@@planguy9575 yea I think she did like the classic psychopathic move of practicing crying and preparing for it, rather then like thinking hmm, is this even an appropriate situation to cry in?

At that point, I'll just leave them to fester and writhe in the muck of their own making. I mean, you can't talk sense to unwilling listeners, after all.
It actually makes me angry seeing her getting gaslit by even the talk show host. Bet she's never going to accept an invitation to a random talk show again.
after crying for no reason, and gaslighting her kind customer calling her not special, she even has the audacity to act like a victim, and the fact that people are clapping over the dumbest shit she has said, is just unbelievable bro..
i believe the pink lady paid the host and the program. because i’m pretty sure if you have money you can pay articles and media with fake interviews of you and the host, all the questions you make them say.
The way she felt like she was entitled to being reached out to privately is hilarious, as a business owner it’s YOUR responsibility to approach your customers with any issues they have with YOUR products. It’s called CUSTOMER SERVICE for a reason
Imagine almost getting poisoned by extreme negligence and then you go on a talk show and the lady who almost kills you holds your hand and talks down to you like a toddler. I would of been so pissed that lady is an angel
I mean you can see it on the critics face at 9:15 that she fully realizes what the spoiled ranch lady is saying and knows that she's too dumb to argue with. Hope she was compensated properly for being talked down to at that show.
then they say that you're threatening HER safety, like what about the safety of those who bought this psycho's sauce that she didn't even get FDA approved ("Cause it's not medicine" in her own words) nor properly packaged it.
The fact that the audience and the host were defending the PINK SAUCE LADY and said that The other girl was trying to SABOTAGE her was my turning point. There is no more sympathy for the Pink Sauce Lady. She is truly evil.
For me it was one of her first statements. She essentially claimed that AlluredBeauty's review video was only made because she saw it as an opportunity to go viral. No-one knows what is gonna go viral, and it was literally just a review of a product that people were excited about. Yet Pink Lady was immediately trying to play the victim by pretending the review was an elaborate, malicious plan to get famous. After that i knew Pink Lady was incredibly unprofessional and massively detatched from the real world, let alone the business world.
I feel so bad for the Tik Toker they dragged out on to a stage just to slander, bash her, and ignore all of the concerns she raised about the toxic sludge the pink sauce lady sent people.
That's the kind of doublethink you gotta drum up when you want to make the other guy look bad. They're a scary looming threat thats here to cause problems, but also they're pathetic and could never hurt The Good Guy™️ in this situation. People like this want to be both the hero and the victim to seem as likeable as possible
The amount of ruptured brain activity from quite literally everyone in that room except the girl that bought the sauce is immense. I’m disappointed that she didn’t cut through all of that bullshit immediately as literally every word they spoke could have been shut down, but the pressure she must have been feeling made her think she couldn’t speak up.
They probably edited out a lot of what she said, and might have been directing the audience when to clap / dubbing the audio of them clapping in to make the host look more reasonable
I feel so bad for that poor girl getting gaslit simply for pointing out the sauce was bad and making content by getting it lab tested. They were gaslighting her so much, and claim she ruined the pink sauce ladies life yet refuse to acknowledge that pink sauce lady literally could've killed someone with her pink poison
I love how pink sauce lady is like “why would I reach out to you?? you’re not special??” and then was like “why didn’t you reach out to me and tell me to look into my packaging??” like ma’am one of you is the customer and the customer paid YOU MONEY. Only one party here is entitled to customer service 😂
Right like you're telling me I should pay you $20 to send me a bottle of potentially harmful mystery sauce and instead of having an issue with that, you expect me to offer you consulting services to improve your business?!?! This lady must be high as a kite.
Like others have said, they’re NPCs. I’m also sure that none of them know anything about this topic and when they are presented this skewed and twisted story they have no choice but to believe it’s right
You can tell she’s the type of girl to get offended if the customer DID reach out with those suggestions. She would be pissed if anyone even insinuated she wasn’t handling her business properly. So no, that absolutely would not have been effective.

Wow, the lack of accountability and maturity on the Pink Lady's part is absolutely mind-blowing. Worse yet, the audience started clapping for her and supporting her in her delusional argument. Like, sis, whaaaaaat?! It's literally your job to perform quality control on YOUR product and to ensure it's safe for consumers to eat. Nothing the blonde girl said was wrong at all. That and she was being so polite and respectful about it. This is wild!
exactly!! imagine if that was the CEO of kraft foods or something instead of the pink sauce lady. imagine how different it would have run out if the blonde lady found glitter in her kraft mac n cheese... i doubt the talkshow host would have said that it was a learning opportunity on the blonde girl's part...
For anyone who’s depressed over the clapping here: You have to remember, on talk shows like these the audience is usually directed WHEN to clap, and sometimes on TV there are cuts made to look like the audience is reacting to something being said when they’re actually either reacting to something earlier or something completely different. Both of these tactics are done to give the host more credibility and make more people inclined to watch them. It’s sadly very common, especially on cable tv.
That and if you don’t go along with the directions you’re given like if you boo instead of clapping they can and will forcefully remove you even if you have every right to react the way you did.
Seems like an edit, considering _no-one_ on the show reacts to it. Unless these ladies are so intent on eye contact that they don't even _glance_ at the source of this sudden noise? Honestly, the biggest tell here is that the blonde woman doesn't look incredulously at the audience a single time.
That's absolutely true ! Sure she's a small business owner and she probably doesn't have a team going over the regulations for her but that's still her job. It's not your customers' job to tell you in private "have you considered going over the regulations for your product ?", that should be common sense and the first thing you do when you consider selling anything you create... The delusion is real.
Its clear that she doesn’t have any clue how a personally owned business works. You cant ship products that aren’t perfect. And more importantly you can never EVER blame the customer. Blaming the customer for a mistake you made is like blaming a mirror coz its showing you what your face looks like.
7:20 Notice how she’s more worried about her own feelings than the health of her consumers. She’s genuinely taking the stance of “oh well you could’ve been more considerate of my feelings when trying to protect people from my poison”.
He deleted the video from his channel instead of apologizing and taking accountability. People are not happy in his comments sections so it's truly a learning experience for HIM now 😉
Good it annoyed me they all ganged up on the girl when she had a valid point. Not to mention the way the audience clapped for that crazy hag over stupid shit pissed me off. Seemed to me like they wanted to paint the other girl as the villain trying to tear down a black womans business. Watching that shit was infuriating.
She literally went on a live and when people said you should have gotten FDA approved first and I quote “why would I need to get FDA approved? It’s not a thing for your health. I never claimed it was for your health.” She literally doesn’t even know what FDA stands for. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION. Your sauce falls under the umbrella of FOOD.
All other valid criticism aside, this is one that she is right about. You don't need approval from the FDA to sell a new food product if it does not contain any new additives or food sources that aren't already FDA approved. Second home-based food manufacturers do not need to register with the FDA because they are private residences, not manufacturing facilities. The FDA doesn't approve every food product or producer on the market, just the additives and ingredients that go into food, the types of packaging used, and food manufacturing facilities. Your local BBQ street vendor didn't need to ask the FDA if they could make and sell their home-made BBQ sauce, for example. However, she more than likely did/is violating FDA regulations on food safety and quality management which the FDA can go after her for.
Her starting to cry/voice crack filled me with a visceral rage. The audacity to play the victim is insane. She deserves no mercy from the public. She wanted to be very, very public with her business, she needs to understand that she's gonna get very public responses. Own up to your mistakes, be a grown adult like you wanna act like you are.
She really ain't I'mconvinced she did something to have the whole audience side with her even Karamo Brown. There's no hope for this woman to own up and realise how much of a piece of shit she is for acting like she cared in the first place.
she gets clapped for when crying about how she accidently almost killed hundreds, while actual business owners that work their asses off to build success have their shit destroyed in riots; with little to no support from the same people that clapped.
I don't even know how to articulate my feelings. This is ridiculous. Brain damage? Lack of critical thinking??? People who don't follow food safety don't get off the hook for hurting people.
It's such bullshit the way she says it too. It's just oozing with condescension and how desperate she is to sound intelligent or have the last word, and this stupid audience just sit there clapping because the applaud sign lit up

Not only did the pink sauce woman ruin her image, basically everyone else there as well. Clapped for every damn thing she said and apparently someone who sent it to a lab for testing is at fault here for doing an *incredibly* generous apology considering the situation. Everyone except Ally has to be at 0IQ. Edit: Since this comment has begun a war in the replies I am just going to say, even if the audience is being forced to put their hands together it's not like that on every show. I had no idea this existed until this video, yet it's not my job to investigate before making a comment on what I see in the video. I'm going over what is clear in front of all of us and not the entire structure of a talk show. (And either way if they are being forced to clap then it's just Pi's fault for still being stupid.)
The whole bit was like a fever dream. Even the clapping was like something straight out of Eric Andre where it happens when someone says or does something ridiculous
at least karamo destroyed his own credibility this early in his "talk show" career that we don't have to worry about missing anything else from him lol
He needs to put out a video and apologize for how he treated Allie. He should also address why he was so biased against the consumer and completely acted as though Chef Pii didn't anything wrong. It should also be addressed why they chose the sweetest and nicest influencer who reviewed and critiqued the pink sauce while there were videos upon videos of others talking about it some of which were really rude. For them to blame this one girl like she was the sole reason the pink sauce didn't do well and was the only person to upset Chef Pii is just flat out disgusting. It's not like Allie rallied the entire Tik Tok community against the pink sauce. He should also let everyone know that the only reason the audience clapped and seemed supportive of the pink sauce lady was due to there being a sign that told them to clap or that they were directed to do so by a director or crew member or if they were paid to be there and act in favor of whoever they were told to. I hope he learns an important lesson from this but I highly doubt it because in today's world it's all about money, fame and clout and getting them by any means necessary. What really sux the most is that Allie apologized like she was in the wrong and when the UA-camr Atozy had her on his channel this week, she was so tight lipped and acted like she did something wrong and at one point said that she couldn't talk about it. He did let her know that she wasn't wrong and that she was not the bad guy. She never even released the results from sending those samples of the punk sauce. Someone mentioned that she may have had to sign NDA but I don't believe Chef Pii has a lawyer nor can she afford one. I would like to hope Allie at least received a refund. Everyone that bought that "prototype" absolutely should have been automatically refunded. The one good and positive thing to come from all of this is that Chef Pii made herself look very bad and somehow made herself look dumber. Every time she posts a Tik Tok or something she just embarrasses herself and shows her true colors.
When he said “it was more learning on your part” I SCREAMED omfg As a black woman myself I will say that I feel like they’re rallying behind this woman because she is black. You have to remember, on talk shows like these the audience is usually directed WHEN to clap, and sometimes on TV there are cuts made to look like the audience is reacting to something being said when they’re actually either reacting to something earlier or something completely different.
Both of these tactics are done to give the host more credibility and make more people inclined to watch them. It’s sadly very common, especially on cable tv.

Lol. The FDA doesn’t approve random food products. The manufacturer must follow proper food handling, storage guidelines. No FDA approval required.

Agreed
It's scary how easy it is to find people nowadays when shit like this happens
Ally herself seems gullible as hell. By the halfway point of the video, she doubles over and acts like she herself is at fault.
It scares me how superficial many people are mentally, they'll go with anything
The whole bit was like a fever dream. Even the clapping was like something straight out of Eric Andre where it happens when someone says or does something ridiculous
The entire episode was a setup to attack the customer.

@@fiddlemyfoddle6374 Your right 😂 he took it down.
@@fiddlemyfoddle6374 I was wondering where it went 😂
When he said “it was more learning on your part” I SCREAMED omfg
As a black woman myself I will say that I feel like they’re rallying behind this woman because she is black. It’s trendy now to back black no matter what and throw out all of our common sense. Bringing that poor girl into that show to bully her and gaslight her is absolutely insane. That Chef Pii woman is absolutely NOT cut out to be a business owner because how can you bully the consumer for your own negligence. I feel like I’m losing my fucking mind man

@@imystery_4044 you can be both black and latina but I see what you’re trying to say
Yeah, its a very unfortunate thing. You'd think that the type of people that view things that way would also realize that she's sending hazardous product to black customers, lol.
I wonder if they chose her for that reason. I actually saw black tiktok creators' video on the pink sauce go viral first but they never got brought up.
Thank you for saying what I unfortunately can't. Otherwise, I'd be labeled a "racist."
she was genuinely critiquing the product and doing a real review on it and got gaslighted for it

The “I’m gonna touch your hand” is so passive aggressive and ugly, I wouldn’t buy this persons product if she was selling liquid gold. Her epic fuck up is the reason why she’s being “harassed”, she sees harassment but it’s justified criticism. Imagine selling dangerous lead toys to children, then blaming the people who complain. It’s that level of gaslighting.

Yep, she is entitled. Tbf a lot of people are like that (sauce : 14 y of customer service in tech and office).

To me, a chef is someone who has a culinary degree, or has dedicated at least 15 years of their life to the culinary arts. Obviously with some exceptions here and there. So if she hasn’t done either of those there’s no way in hell she’s earned that title.
