Any videos of the tools you need? Think it would be better with talking over it, no music and slower instead of sped up + the tools/bolts etc with them on the video

Hi on your video it shows you connecting the blue mmi wire to the green on the quad lock. In the paper guide you’ve sent it’s pictured attached to the white wire. Can you clarify which wire? Plus there is a green wire and a green/purple wire and I can’t make out which it is in video.

I have brought a 2008 a5 with the bang and olufsen stereo, same display and centre console as the video, the car has an idcore kit installed… but i have no control over it, is there a key im supposed to press and ir hold to gain control over the system? Just did my 2008 S5 with ami in glovebox, works well (a few niggles but thats more me than the kit). Install, once you figure out how to remove the glovebox, is easy and takes about an hour. Removing the glovebox takes about 3 hours if you dont realise theres a screw behind the ami which isnt mentioned in the install guide or video.
@@smokiebv found that was the case for mine too. Getting the ami box out was a pig though, any idea how its supposed to come out? Managed it once but now its back in (and the screw behind it isnt back in) I cant get it back out and I want to route the usb and aux cables through it to make a cleaner install...

It would be good to have more detail on the step at ua-cam.com/video/evi5BCfv6_w/v-deo.html. I've managed to get everything working other than the controls - connecting my phone brought up the menu and I was able to pair everything successfully, but can't navigate the interface at all. I'm assuming that I've not made the connection correctly.

Spent the last 2 hours trying to get the glovebox out and it just won’t budge, all screws out but seems trapped at the right
Need to take ami box out and there's one more screw under once you take the ami box out
