Hi! I’ve got a A6 C6 2007 with MMI 2G low basic without the telephone function/button. Will it work for calling and answering and bluetooth music connection? Many thanks!
Hi, does your car have AMI or a CD changer? In case of either, you should be in luck! In case of a CD changer and a fibre optic module, it'll work both for telephone and streaming
Quick update. I bought a Kufatec 43394 and when I tried to install it the power supply was different from what I had on the car so I had to conect it to other cables behind the CD player. It worked but only for music streaming and it didn’t work for phone calls also the car doesn’t have Channel 12 on VCDS so maybe that’s why it didn’t work for calls. Sound quality is awesome
Finally ! Some Goof F video haha ! Thank you my man ! Have Audi A6 2006 raw no gps of Bluetooth… so annoying. But finally some good advice and expansions what I can do . Definitely will get last option ! Do you have a link or something where I can get exact module ?
I have a 2008 Audi a6. I tried the ami Bluetooth adapter and it didn’t work. It wouldn’t even show up on my phone for Bluetooth. And there was no indication that it was even on or working? Is there anything I can do to fix it or did I just order a faulty one?
Hello My bleuthoot module on a 2008 Audi A4 B8 is burnt out! How do I remove it? According to the diagram of the car, it is located under the floor of the passenger seat.
Hi Adam, I have an Audi Q7 2006 with no Ami, and you wouldn’t even believe the drama I’ve had trying to get Bluetooth to work….. thousands of dollars and it’s not working and a massive headache! My Bluetooth module has died, so I have replaced it with a fibre optic loop so the stereo sound would work again, do you know if I install the unit you have, it will work even considering I have taken the factory module out?
Hi Dylan, if the original Bluetooth module is responsible purely for the telephone function (taking calls) you should be fine without it- my A6 came without it!
Hi Adam. I have an Audi A8 d3 with phone cradlle in the armrest but no phone. If I press the telephine button it says like in ur video that the tel might not be properly attached. Does this kit will work for bluetooth calls as well? And also can we use original mics from the car? Good video and explanations. Thumb up.
@@Adam_G can I contact you privately if you don't mind? I have my hands on a nice piece of kit, MOST adapter kit for sound and a multimedia, video &gps integration for my A8 , that I got when I purchased my car interior with headrests lcd's. On those ones I would like,if possible and if you have time, to give me some help as I don't know if it needs any coding or anything ,as they came without installation instructions.
Hi, I bought mine on a local adverts website here in Ireland. You can use websites like eBay and Amazon and local Italian websites also to find a kit that'll fit your A4, best regards
What sort of “cable” Do you mean? I don’t want to buy a cheap Chinese cable that won’t work, Nor do I wanna have to buy an extremely expensive HEX-NET system. Any tips?
maybe someone knows why nothing works after connecting the adapter. the radio and the display stop working. when I disconnect after a few minutes it starts working. I bought this adapter used before taking it out and it worked. mmi2g high. the adapter is the same as the video car as well
Most likely a faulty fibre optic circuit- could be a faulty Bluetooth module. Any warranty on the kit? Alternatively maybe one of your friends also has an Audi with MMI 2G to test the kit? Sėkmės 👍🏼
Hi Etienne! The B7 generation of A4 (04-08) uses RNS-e system, not MMI 2G. There are similar kits available, much cheaper as RNS runs on standard cables, not optic fibre
Hi, you can google “Kufatec 43394” and you will find various retailers selling this kit. If your A6 is of the C6 generation, it will surely fit! Greetings from Northern Ireland!
YESsss ! perfect ! I'm looking for a MR 12v or dension. Very great video. So tell me why vcds ... On MR12v you can select if you have oem bt phone. I have a 6 cd changer in the glovebox, and i want to keep only oem BT for my phone, and put bt module for only stream. As same you, i have a a6 c6 scottish import in RHD, and i leave in france. Best regards
Hi, my car had no factory BT telephone, as such I had to enable it from zero. You should be fine keeping the factory telephone and having a separate streaming module! Bonne chance
Very good explanation of every step. Thumb up! But why don't use the genuine microfone system if the car is equipped with phone? I guess the original microfone system will be in perfect quality, especially when there are 3 microfones in cabin in their original and most suitable place.
I've installed Mr. 12 Volt in my Audi, paired with BOSE makes a great pleasure to listen to music, the downside... It only can see 5 folders per Micro SD Card or USB as well... So I am using the CD changer, 1 Micro SD Card and 1 USB, also... So organizing music it's a little frustrating, as it only can see 30 songs per page... Yes, I've used the Bluetooth connection, played music from my phone, but as quality it doesn't even come close to my 320kbs files on the SD/ USB... I would have love to have a MP3 player hooked on but don't wanna deal with wires and still wanna use the MMI control buttons... So I am stuck with this slightly "limited" setup, but at least music is at CD quality and most of all I don't have to deal with stupid ipod (iOS ecosystem)
@@jakubluszczak2748 Spotify it's already average quality. Bluetooth downgrade it a little more. What's the point to have Bose sound, if quality it's not CD?!...

Hi, After installing this adapter, can I still use 6 audio cd's?
Yes
Can you tell us where we can buy it?
Hi Adam I have a q7 2008 no satnav small screen can’t find ami socket nothing in glovebox what’s best to Bluetooth from my phone thanks
Hi, in case of a small screen your best bet is either a CD changer if you have one (the Kufatec way), or an FM tuner...
I cant find this one anywhere, do you have a link?
Hi, you may google "Kufatec MMI 2G", it brings you to the official Kufatec website, they're in stock as of 2024. Regards
Hi, I have a question does it work even if you don’t have the phone button on your Audi
Hi, it may not work- mine came with MMI 2G colour, so it had the telephone function pre-installed
Hello
My bleuthoot module on a 2008 Audi A4 B8 is burnt out! How do I remove it? According to the diagram of the car, it is located under the floor of the passenger seat.
Hi my cd player has fakra connector at the back unlike yours. How to install then? I have mmi 2g basic
Can this be done to an Audi A4 B8 with Audi Concert system, or we have to get the MMI?
I believe this is exclusive to the MMI software
Hello. would it work on a6 2007 tdi 3.0 Quattro??
The car in the video is identical apart from the engine so I would say it should
Is it the same innstalation prosess for the mmi 3g
my cd changer literally only has the power plug in. There is no other spots to plug stuff into. What do you recommend?
Do you also have the A6 C6?
yes@@Adam_G
Do you know if the wiring is already there to connect straight to the new kit even if I don't have a mmi or disc changer in the glove box?
Hi, it depends on the trim level, I'd say the most sure way would be to remove the glovebox and check.
@Adam G thanks, mine is an s line but can't find aux or mmi port anywhere

Will this work on my 2008 s6? Just got it and I can’t figure it out
Does this work on mmi 2g basic
Is there any that are suitable for US vehicles? I went to Kufatec website and it says not suitable for US vehicles.
I don’t have a cd changer. Audi a4 b8 2008 concert 2g mmi
Would this kit do the job. Kufatec 43419 AUX & Bluetooth Adapter Compatible with Audi with MMI 3G Low and High on Amazon. On my 2006 A6
Hi John, I believe 3G came on facelifted 2009+ models only, you'd be looking for a 2G High kit

Some people prefer to keep the authenticity, but that is a very viable option!
