Almost a year in to owning my 2023 Mojave and I don't regret it whatsoever. I had no illusions about what it is. It fits exactly what I needed. A daily driver that could occasionally cart stuff around in the bed. Pull small trailers for my toys. Take the top off when I go to the beach. Have a little fun off-road. Literally my thoughts exactly when I got my 23 gladiator high altitude. Doesn’t give you the hassle of maneuvering a full-size truck in the city, looks unique as hell, and can still haul a decent size load

I guess the ranger, Colorado, Tacoma, and Nissan frontier all suck too? None of them do what a full size truck does. This is literally the dumbest review I have ever seen. This isn’t a serious auto channel with ridiculous comparisons like this.

Disagree - Gladiator is a Jeep and a pickup truck. Wrangler is a toy, but Gladiator is a useful tool. A hybrid, not as capable as a regular pickup truck - not as capable as a Wrangler. I like them. Get it with a soft top to enjoy it.
Just picked up a 2024 gladiator, I love it , it does what I need it to do, I still have a 2013 wrangler with over 185,000 miles best vehicle I’ve ever owned.
Clickbait at best. The Gladiator fills a niche segment that no other mid-size can touch. I had a 3rd Gen Tacoma and the Gladiator runs circles around it.
Well our mojave saved my husband's life a month ago. He won't be driving anything else but a jeep as long as he is driving on oilfield lease roads all day every day.
I’m on my second Gladiator. First was an Overland and I traded up to a Rubicon. I got an offer I couldn’t refuse, which is another benefit…resale value. Before I got my first one, I was in a Ram Big Horn Crew Cab. Loved that truck, but the lease was up. As much as I loved it, out of three years of ownership, I used it to its full capacity twice. I loved the ride, the interior size, the comfort and of course the Hemi. I was wanting a Gladiator but looked at the Taco and Colorado. I felt I got more with the Gladiator just because I was back in a Jeep and I could strip it down. I was concerned about the break over angle, departure angle and all that, but I’m not using it that way. If I was making a living with a truck, no way this would be my first, second…fifteenth choice. I’ve moved my sister, my daughter, hauled mulch, lumber (there’s a trick with the tailgate cable that gives the 4X8 capability), I’ve taken on the beach and a trail ride (Central Florida, so nothing overly impressive). Basically I’m saying what you’re saying. It works for me. Big truck is overkill for my purpose, I want the capabilities of a Wrangler but I’m willing to sacrifice some of those for the extra cargo space. Cheers!
Boo hoo. I can't use it for my contractor job. I guess I'll have to get any of the other trucks that are built for me and not off roaders 😢😢😢😢😢 Give me a break
I have an f350 diesel to tow, nothing comes close. Daily I’d rather drive my jlu rubicon. I’ve even used the Jeep to haul two round bales of hay on my dump trailer and hauling stumps and brush around the property. Yes I know it’s well over the tow rating. People forget we used to load a truck with firewood till the bumper nearly dragged the ground.
I think the Gladiator is better for Wilderness Camping purposes, since you can store stuff in that bed and install a camper and sleep in the bed of your Gladiator, unlike the Wrangler which has a normal SUV trunk
You seem to be a bit confused. It’s a midsize truck. The bed size is in the same category of all the others in this space. A midsize truck isn’t built to haul a sheet of plywood or two a ton of weight… any of them… not just the gladiator. I appreciate varying perspectives but at least ground your views in something reasonable.
There's a lot of drivel on YT lately, and this is no exception. The JT is a great mid-size truck and the ONLY bedded vehicle on the market that offers top/door off. This is your opinion, and you're entitled to it.
My Jeep truck does everything just fine. I tow an RV, haul stuff and have done some rock crawling! The cost is high for sure but this has been the most fun vehicle I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned many.
respectfully disagree that the Gladiator sucks-that needs to be understood when buying one-but for how you drive. I don’t need nor want a full sized truck; had them and they have their place-so does the gladiator-again, buy what you want for your needs. I live near the blue ridge mountains so lots of great trail riding but also use the gladdy as my daily driver. Have complete sets of tires for the type of driving and change as needed. My Gladiator was purchased for my needs. larger sized hauls are solved with a trailer. I also love to trail and camp and with some of the trails around here-good luck getting one of the full sized buses through some of the places where we go. The Jeep also has the largest array of parts to make it fit a large variety of user needs or wants. Love the channel-good details!
I live near the Cherokee national forest in eastern Tennessee and the majority of people (other than half ton/dually trucks) here drive Jeeps and 4Runners. We do have a plethora of off-road trails. Truly a beautiful place.
Jeep needs to have two main engines for the Wrangler and Gladiator. The 3.6 V6 and a at least 5 liter V8. Most of these vehicles are modified that adds weight and height and they are not aerodynamic. The 3.6 V6 just doesn’t cut it.
I've had my gladiator for four years now. It's the most versatile vehicle I have ever owned. Now, if I want to do heavy work, then I'll buy or rent a 350 flatbed. It's not make to move mountains. It is a small truck like a Ford ranger and etc. It's the best midsized truck. The mileage isn't too bad sometimes when not pulling a trailer. I get twenty-two mpg that's not bad for a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
Well if you do a better research about the gladiator with tow max package with 4.10 axle ratio, but wishing the jeep should’ve offer 6 feet size bed like Toyota Tacoma have two different size and meanwhile all of gladiators will only come in 5 feet bed.
I prefer the Gladiator over the Wrangler and other small trucks for a couple of reasons. For starters ALL Gladiator come with Dana 44s front and back unlike the Wrangler, and the longer wheel base gives it a better ride. Plus, I have 35s on stock ride height unlike the Tacoma where you rub with 33s and a lift. The Gladiator also has a better seating position over the Tacoma. I feel like I’m sitting on the floor in the Tacoma. I also like the solid axle for off-road over independent front suspension. Plus, if you really need a mid size truck with towing capacity the Max Tow has like 7,500 pounds of tow capacity with the extended Dana 44’s and lower 4.10 gears like the Rubicon has in a sport package. My biggest complaint is the wimpy clutch and crappy gear ratio of my 6 speed manual. But the regear to 4.88s helped a lot. Admittedly Jeep dropped the ball with the manual. (I’d still buy it again lmao) I also find the argument of price a little pointless since most trucks are WAY over priced. That’s an issue with the ENTIRE market of trucks. Not exclusively the Gladiator.
I love my gladiator but it’s already having an issue with number 3 cylinder having random misfire so will see what dealer finds only has 1800 miles on it
My thanks to the comments. U spared me from watching another video that is bias and just chooses to hate on the gladiator instead of hitting it from a logical, ethical point of view.
I’m on my second gladiator.80th anniversary to a Mojave.I love these trucks. No desire to ride around in a full size truck and barely use it.soo dumb. I’ve had a full size Harley in my gladiator bed🤷🏻♂️ Top and doors come off. Nothing better..could use more power is all.
I just purchased a 2022 with 33000 miles for $30500. Try finding a Ram, Silverado or f150 for that price. Does the f150 even come with a V8 option anymore? So far, i love my gladiator. It's what i need for what i do.
Yes the Ford does come with a V8. Ford has said F it, The V8 is staying. Whereas Fiat has killed the Hemi. And Chevy is keeping the V8 in trucks and the vettes.
Package is nice price is too much. Most of us just need weekend warrior truck bed. I mean camping, biking, hauling the average persons stuff. Sorry some of us just need room for the damn over priced yeti or the mountain bike. Sorry.
buy what you need for the way you will drive. My Gladiator meets my needs and I want that solid front axle. I also like to drive without doors and roof off when the weather is right for that. 10 minutes to remove all or put all of them back on💪. Jeeps also have the widest array of optional upgrades to tailor it to the owner’s preference and is designed with these mods as part of the platform mindset.
The problem is simply that it's just too expensive. If I have $65,000 to spent on a truck, it won't be the Gladiator, that's the point. If this was priced as an every man's truck, it would sell well.
I immediately knew how this video was going to go when car & driver was referenced. If you're looking for that one ton truck experience, this one (mid size) isn't gonna do it. No $hit.🤦♂
I have a 2022 jeep gladiator mojave and it is amazing!! And yes you can pull a shit ton with this vehicle! Put it in 4 high and press the offload button and your shift points and torque pretty much doubles! You just need to keep know what combo to set in place!! And FYI, I paid $62k for mine plus another "10,000 in aftermarkets , and my payment is still under $500 per month! I would love to see anyone beat that! This thing is running on full fox suspension system plus some of my own/all fox 2.0 racing products on 35"×12.5 Nittos and 20 ×12.5 fuel beast rims and just 3 clicks on the steering stabilizer and this thing goes down the road like a Cadillac. Bottom line, I disagree with your points on the gladiator. Mine is a daily driver and I just took it to a carshow and did very well. So it can be a daily driver and still do well at shows.
I own a 1987 Jeep commanchee pickup, i love that truck but i could never get any interest in the Jeep Gladiator and ive heard that people who own Jeep Gladiators look down on people who own Jeep J10's and Jeep Commanchee's ive always said "of course we are looked down on, we show what frauds they are"

You even mention disinformation.....un real. Good luck bro.
This is another clickbait video to make you watch his stuff. But as someone who owned different Jeeps, the only gladiator you should get is the diesel one. Gas gladiator is not even woth looking at. Trust me I had voth. Unless you plan to put a v8

I have a Willy’s package. I love mine but to make it cool you need $80K+ in upgrades
There’s several minutes of my life I’ll never get back. Worthless review if there ever was one.
Keep going. Your gonna be a large channel.
We appreciate that!
What if I want both a Jeep and a truck but can only afford to buy (and pay insurance and what not) for 1? :p
I have no desire to daily a Gladiator compared to my full size v8 powered 1/2 ton. Much more comfortable too.
I've drove all midsized trucks since 2016 and gladiator is by far the best. My gladiator pulls 7600lbs, 1600lbs payload
If you want a prerunner that can tow get a gladiator
Love mine
You should have to pay everyone that wasted their time clicking in this video.
My 40 milestars are bead balanced good to about 65 mph. Nobody locally will balance anything larger than a 35 🤷♂️
I immediately knew how this video was going to go when car & driver was referenced.
I love my 22 Gladiator diesel!
I own a 1987 Jeep commanchee pickup, i love that truck but i could never get any interest in the Jeep Gladiator and ive heard that people who own Jeep Gladiators look down on people who own Jeep J10's and Jeep Commanchee's ive always said "of course we are looked down on, we show what frauds they are"
This video took me for a loop. Not only is the content dumb, but half the video has nothing to do with the time card
I love my gladiator I run 35s right now it’s a sport but mines built not bought I put lockers all the bells and whistles well because I wanna be different I got my 2020 gladiator with 15,000 miles for 30,000 I don’t really tow much i love it hands down mine is snorkeled etc it’s a head turners that’s for sure if your looking for a truck truck don’t go with a jeep I got my jeep to go camping and rock crawling and my wife drives a 2019 wrangler rubicon unlimited she prefer to drive well my jeep gladiator
Wow, knocking the Ridgeline. Bro, it's just a midsize truck for a very different buyer. On road, it's objectively a better truck. Different strokes for different folks.
I didn’t want a truck. I wanted a jeep with a bed.
I don’t want dirty stuff in my cab.
I got exactly what I wanted.
The problem is that your "Jeep" "truck" is neither. It's a 4-door stationwagon without a trunk lid.
Almost 90g in canada for a loaded gladiator rubicon
Just bought a new Gladiator for $18k off msrp paid $39k plus tax title.
I got my sport s for $35k anything above $40k not worth buying a jeep. At the end of the day its still a V6..Sport s or Rubicon
I will stick with my Tacoma
25% off now
About to by a 23 Mohave with 12,000
For 39 sat.cant wait.
It will serve us well for what we need it for .bye
You should have looked into before you bought it.
Holy **** yall are laughable with these videos. Why you even put time into this is beyond me. Have you every considered how subjective this subject even is?! Do you know how many jeep gladiator owners there are that absolutely love it!? That don't even need to make pointless UA-cam videos about subjective observations. You even mention disinformation.....un real. Good luck bro.
My is broke down in driveway 31,400 miles had it 2 years the dealership won’t fix it still under warranty so don’t buy one
I ❤my Gladiator 6 speed Rubicon Lol
The gladiator is an off-road vehicle with a pickup bed. It is not a truck. Go get a Tacoma or Frontier if you want a true pickup truck.
I love my gladiator
The only available open air convertible solid axle mid size truck. Stop it
It's not a good off road vehicle due to it's length.
Total BS, the review is a joke.
This is another clickbait video to make you watch his stuff. But as someone who owned different Jeeps, the only gladiator you should get is the diesel one. Gas gladiator is not even woth looking at. Trust me I had voth. Unless you plan to put a v8
he is a fullsize truck
😢 Congratulations! Worst Review Ever...Of one of the Best Vehicles Ever made ....
I balance my tyres with beet juice and water
The Gladiator is in its own class (maybe alongside the Tacoma) ... Don't ever compare it to full sized. This content is trash bait.
This is a trash review. It’s a mid size truck it’s not supposed pull a goose neck ! It’s the only truck with the articulation of a jeep for rock climbing plus it is the only truck that has removable doors and roof . This is a pathetic attention grabbing video. If you have done any research before you bought the truck you would know exactly what u bought.
Jeep created a niche as they always do. You buy it because it is a Jeep and it is what you want. I think you will be begging for 6K subscribers in 2025-26.
