Delicious. I followed the recipe using an assortment of jalapeno, serrano, habanero, scotch bonnet and ghost peppers that I got from a friend. Maybe a dozen peppers in total. I figure the hotness of the ghost will make up for being six short, haha. It all went together beautifully. The peaches weren't that ripe, but after smoking they were still delicious. After tasting the mixture I decided it needed a bit more sugar (probably another tsp or so). The heat is perfect. Not send-me-to-the-hospital hot but not too wimpy either. Got three 8oz jars filled for storage (we also made red pepper jelly, so had the canning equipment out anyway), and one more jar for the fridge. :) All those store-bought bottles of hot sauce are just gonna have to wait. :P

The second step of smoking is necessary to relieve all the moisture. I was thinking of that when the first smoking of peaches after the were blended. Making this all fresh garden veggies and throw in some chocolate scotch bonnets with the yellow. Tasty

My wife just made something similar called Light My Fire Flaming Habanero Hot Sauce...I use it on everything!! Sure wish I had access to good peaches because I like your idea of smoking it. We should be harvesting the habaneros this week and I will see if we can get fresh peaches for this batch. Very full of flavor and not just hot.
habaneros are some of my fav peppers . I think Ill try to find a couple to do a Concorde grape jelly
Hello rabbit hole...I live in Northern PA so concord grapes are available. Never thought of it, but I will try to make some habanero grape jam and possibly a batch with cranberries! Thanks for the idea. @@caribbeanpot
