Just made this sauce. Had about 20 scotch bonnet peppers home grown. Only addition I made was to add 1 soaked date. Came out amazing. Thanks very much.
(2:45 Please wear gloves) then chops them up without gloves, brave man lol But you are not lying! I handled hot peppers without gloves and that burn did not leave my hands for almost 3 days, no joke! Making this first thing in the morning with my home grown N.Y fire escape scotch bonnet harvest 🙂 Thanks so much for the shared recipe 🌶
Every year, when my chilli peppers are getting good & ripe and I’m preparing to make a sauce, I rewatch this video to ensure that the sauce I’m making is as fantastic as the sauce I made last year.
My thanks to you yet again 👍
Just made this and like the man said “PURE FIRE!” Bless Up
Ive found that alcohol works best to remove the peppers oils from your skin, isopropyl works and so does drinkable alcohol which can also help the burn for those who arent used to eating spicy. Try filling a container with peppers and covering with vodka or rum, let it sit a couple weeks and you'll have an unbelievably tasty cocktail mixer/hot sauce
thx for the tip
WOW GREAT KNOWLEDGE
Vodka grain is the best.
i dont mean to be off topic but does someone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account??
I stupidly lost my password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Quinn Karson Instablaster ;)
I was just thinking today about how i can make some pepper-sauce from the basket full of fresh organic habaneros, scotch-bonnets and cayenne peppers from my home garden, and then this video pops up in my you-tube feed. Perfect timing!
That looks so good. I usually put the herbs in a salad spinner. It takes as much water away from it as possible, without bruising their herbes .
Ah this looks so dang good, going to make this today, so excited. Thanks for sharing and educating!!
This is sooo good! Our go to now. Love it❤️
Love the colours, condiments for life
Thank you for sharing your art.
I have been watching you videos for a bit. I tried this with some modifications. WOW. Great flavour and heat. Cheers from Hamilton, Ontario
Looks amazing wow
I LOVE THIS RECIPE, it's simple and easy...
exactly.. glad you luv it
my husband will love this... but he thinks *pain* is a flavor. more power to you guys! 😂🌶🥵

I love it too . I’m ready to make some
Pain is one of my favourite flavours 😛
Something only hot sauce lovers understand.
Pain is a flavor 😋 👌🏾
Thank you chris for sharing this. ☺😋

This one is my favourite recipe video I’ve seen. Can’t wait to try! How long will it last in the fridge?
Love this recipe. Been making it for a few years since seeing your other video for it. I leave out the cilantro/coriander and garlic to keep it more pure chilli pepper salsa sauce.
I've tried this recipe with habaneros ... excellent heat and flavor.
I'm from the UK and this is epic. Thank you brother best chilli sauce ever! It's pure fire🔥🔥🔥 and we love it.
Wonderful
I'm salivating!
Gotta try something like this. I have a surplus of scotch bonnet growing in my garden. Nice job.
U is ah real trini everytime I watch your videos I does get so hungry tumbs up to you
I simply love it. That¨s the way.
thx kindly
Yes I've been waiting for this.

My eyes are actually burning 😭😭 without touching them 🙈🙈
fiery.. but soo good
😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for sharing. I used the base of your recipe and made papaya habanero peppersauce.
Looks delicious already I can smell it through the screen😋
thx kindly
How???
Just made my first batch today. I put some ghost pepper in it aswell and I didn’t have limes but had a lemon and put it instead. It is bomb and pure fire 🔥 👍🏻
Awesome
Best receipe i found yet.
Hey Chris not to tell you how to do your stuff but in my opinion and experience shadow benny holds up better and instead of vinegar a mix of unsweetened Pineapple juice and white vinegar with shadow benny instead of cilantro makes that pepper sauce amazing in flavor. A fan from the Bronx Chris
Wow, just made this sauce. The flavor is great but I am the only one in the house that can stand the heat. I had to calm it down a little so the rest of the family could enjoy. I added Pineapple and a little bit of sugar. Great recipe keep up the good show
Flavor profile indeed! 👍 👍 💗ohhhhhh baby! 👍 Eyes are tearing up as I watch you pour into the jar. Love the added cilantro. Thanks for sharing this traditional fave. You are brave to handle without a hazmat suit lol. Thanks again Chris.
most welcome Martha
Just harvested my peppers, this looks like the kind of hot sauce I'd want to try to make! First attempt
Didn't your eyes burn you doing this video..WOW!! My eyes burn me watching it 👀🔥🔥 I don't think blockers would help me! Good job Chris looks like it smells and taste great. Keep those videos coming❤
but when I went in the shower, my eyes burned. guess the fumes were on my head/face
The sacrifice of using your bare hands going in to produce this video! You are a master ...plenty pepper!
Very nice chris
Hi from Melbourne Australia, try to grow my own but I sometimes need to buy some, I place my chillies in a bowl filled with water and vinegar and let it sit for 30 minutes as this helps sterilise the skin. Love your posts.
"Please wear gloves". Doesn't wear gloves. 🤣🤣🤣
Caribbean things we tell you do one thing but we do the opposite
Nice
Oh baby! Just watching this fiery, sizzling dazzles of a sauce, warmed our New Zealand winter up immediately. 😁👍 Chris you champion, Thank you for all you generously give in these recipes and stories. One of my favourite chefs on here. MUAH!
much luv for the kind words and continued support
Dorrit in Jamaica 🇯🇲 love ❤️ Jamaica 🇯🇲
Hi Chris that's a very wicked pepper sauce.....it's very delicious....I always makes my like that..... Mattee Deonarine from California in Trinidad...West-indies 😋😋❤❤
I make my just so and I add carrots and then blend. The carrots help give sweetness. Sometimes I’ll add a tablespoon of honey too. 😋😋
the odd time I will add a carrot.. but it tames the heat
@@caribbeanpot anything that you add to the peppers takes away from the heat. Some ppl add caraille, or green paw paw too. The additions are good if you are making a hot sauce but not for a potent pepper sauce!
I made a small batch I put pineapple to tone the heat down. I'm getting old I use to like heat know I don't.
Love
Thanks Chris.
most welcome Belinda
Omg is a long time I see a video with you Chris
I want the cook book of course.
I just tried this but with less peppers. And turned out good.
Nice 👍
Thank you
Nice video
Chris, thank you for this great video. Love this recipe! So hot and spicy!
growing me own spicy ones now, i got both habaneros and the spanish pepper, really strong one
Thanks Chris
most welcome
I cook mine after blending, then put it in the fridge. Haven't noticed a reduction in heat. Actually, it's the opposite. I use white vinegar, a blender, mustard, bell pepper's, seasoning pepper's honey, brown sugar, salt, chives thyme, onion, and garlic. They last well over 5 month's. I do not use oil, like some people do! It makes thing's go bad quickly
Great pepper sauce Chris, I add a little bit of dry mustard powder to it and it was fantastic
not a fan of mustard.. but I'm sure your version is nice
Hi Chris, I love this and keep a jar of it in the fridge all the time now - I even used the shado beni you suggested because it is easy to source in my city. But although I like the sauce, I do like the sticky consistency of the store-bought kind too (even though the store bough kind doesn't have the heat or aromatic qualities of your recipe!), so I was wondering if introducing Gum arabic (which I found in a Carribean store) to this recipe would be a good idea. If so, how would I add it in?
Bless🔥
Just made my bash and it came out really nice and strong. What kind of dishes do you suggest go well with this sauce?
best hot sauce I've ever had! wonderful flavour and definitely pure fire! thank you brother
No sir, I grow them myself so you get the real deal without insecticides 😊. Love it
tried it out but I add some onions and carrot, used Scorpion pepper, came out fire !!
Hi, I don't know whether you are aware. I am based in the UK and when I visited your website and click on the Amazon buy button for your book, it took me to your Amazon platform but the book is priced there at $899.99.
Just made it and it's so good!
I remember my parents making their pepper sauce, but they cook theirs. Lord. We would run in our rooms and shut the door and put a towel at the bottom so the burning smell didn't get into our rooms 🤣😂
Excellent recipe once again, thanks. But who else laughed hard at 6.26 when the cough came and 'I told you guys this pure fyaaah man, wow!'' was uttered hahaaaa😂😂
real fyah yea (Smile)
@@caribbeanpot 😂 my favourite recipe so far of yours is the carribean stewed oxtails, man great recipe , thanks

Heyyy Chris!! Thanks!! I would like to buy the book on Amazon but it is $1800 on the website
For cleaning beforehand, you can soak the produce in a baking soda / water solution for 15 minutes. That will take off ~99% of the pesticides.
I’m sneezing from the heat man!
Yes
What camera do you use? The footage is so clear! I'll be vlogging soon, and I need to know.
The Ultimate condiment. Trust me Leave the seeds and watch the hair on your chest grow and your voice gets deeper 🤣❤️👍🏼👊🏼👊🏼🇹🇹
pure fyah!
😂😂😂😂
🤣.
I need my stomach lining
Seeds have hardly anything to do with the heat. It's the white placenta that produces the capsaicin oil aka heat. The seeds are just coated with it.
I’m new to the channel. Does he have recipes that he uses this in?
HI, GREAT VIDEO! CAN I USE AN IMERSION BLEADER BLENDER INSTEAD OF A FOOD PROCESSOR?
Pure 🔥 lol
Much respect! I love the sauce! Did everything you said. Thanks
Very nice seeds have the fire. How much of this and that do u use
Now waiting on the recipe for doubles
Likewise
soon
And the famous roast pepper
Nice. What are you eating with this sauce?
chris love your content. can you insert a clip where you taste your delish food pls =)
thx for the kind support
@@caribbeanpot
Bring that island heat😁😁😁
gotta lut it
Chris can I use Shardon Benny instead of cilantro???
Looks so good. Can you do a vid on your beautiful red cast iron pot. ..or if you can tell us the name and size. I'm trying to more away from the traditional gray aluminium one.
ok will do
Good receipe. I would had bended perhaps before adding the vingear. Then strained out the bits. Leave to soke for long time the take bits out to be sort like own Tabasco.
love it man !! Wear GLOVES ... No Gloves!!! hahah awesome
i grow my veggies at home my entire back yard is just a big vegetable garden with different sections
My pepper plant now growing flowers and i just planeted some more pepper seeds in my garden to make sauce for a taco or chips
You’ll probably have to wait a while until they big enough and start producing fruit
Looks like Mexican salsa, but spicier! 🥰
salsa?
I’m going to try this! Do you think olive oil could be used instead of vinegar?
This might be weird, but I like how his knife sounds chopping. What brand knife is that? I really would like to know. Way to keep that knife sharp. Nice recipe as well. Thanks for sharing!
OK i liked and subbed just cuz you right dung de road.
I make my pepper sauce a bit different from your blend.... scorpion peppers, salt, vinegar and a little mustard...nothing else. Blend and bottle. The longer it stays in the fridge the hotter it gets!
I am going to make a small batch your way...wish me luck!
