    Will removing the WIFI copper in the video at 6:38 cause lower WIFI performance or is it only bad if you mess up and actually tear it? Because even in this video its was "wrinkled" a bit.

    Is it possible to install a fingerprint-reader to a tablet which is shipped without one by replacing the plastic fingerprint placeholder with the spare part #L67417-001?

      @@byproxy5715 I am an Engineer for HP and I get testing units all the time. It's the same as the HP elite X2 G4 when it comes to repairability. Very easy to service and replace parts. Dimensions are the same as well so the cases are compatible with one another.

    If I remove a swollen battery from an HP Elite x2 G4 will it work without the battery? Untill I find a replacement.

      Yes you can. In fact, it is recommended to remove the battery if the laptop is connected to power all of the time.

      @@HPSupport Thank you so much for your reply. I was worried that because the HP Elite X2 G4 is not a normal laptop, but more like a tablet, that it would not turn on without the battery.

    how can i reset the bios is their a cmos battery inside my keyboard is faulty

      I understand that you are experiencing an issue with the keyboard.
      I will do my best to assist you.
      Shutdown the unit(off, not suspended/sleeping)
      Disconnect the keyboard from the unit.
      Press the ON/OFF button for 30 seconds (at least).
      Release the ON/OFF button.
      Attach the keyboard.
      Power on the unit.

    fuc.... i just crashed my display with these suction pads... it works but it has big blue an red pixel errors.... thanks for nothing
