UPSPEC Project VB motor strengthen by Throttle Therapy!

UPSPEC VB WRX update… the road to WTAC2024 and SUBINATS 2024.
We handed our VB WRX over to the team at ThrottleTherapy in Dural NSW for some upgrades to the factory motor. While the FA24DIT is a tuff motor from factory allowing us to make just over 300KW ATW street driven with the right mods, Subinats 2023 showed us that upgraded head studs and head gaskets were definitely needed.
A fresh FA24DIT short motor, a set of ARP2000 head studs and HKS head gaskets were installed, along with a couple of other ‘undisclosed’ bits to help with some other weak points of the motor. Team Throttle Therapy did an amazing job, and super efficient turn around time… drive in, drive out in a couple of days.
Next stop, Heng’s Garage for some more mods and changes before we hit the track for a shake down!
PS. Our Deshele Performance Spec long motor is ready and waiting, but we have chosen to keep that for post Subinats developments… stay tuned for that!
