It was a lot of fun to hang with you, Beckett! You are too nice to me, but I will take it :) I remember we were pretty tired during this one, but at least we got a hit in. Next time we play a set or something
Would love to see Beckett in Marbella on the clay. You guys are awesome, except i spend a fortune trying out new strings you recommend, but I love it so it’s worth it! You both need to do Canadian tour including Ontario.
There's something very soothing about watching you guys just hit cooperative rallies back and forth. Worlds colliding in the youtube space but just for a chill hang. Peaceful. Happy for you guys!
Super Happy for your trip. You deserve it! Awesome content and bonding time with Tennisnerd and TW crew. I hope you can do more. Can’t wait for a home and away trip for you to visit Jonas and Jonas to visit Vancouver for more content and keep up the bromance. Great stuff guys!
Nice to see you two hitting together. Would love a vlog about the trip. Also, funny you mentioned the pro staff 97 v14 to have a large sweet spot, in the tw measurements, it says it's, frankly, huge. Always wondered if it was an error.
There is nothing better on the market than RF97A. PS97v14 comes close and it is in my bag but this pleasant flex it has kills the power that RF97A has due to its stiff throat. PS97v14 is a great great racket though. Definitely a better PS compared to v13.
I usually cut when I notice the strings' performance dropping. This varies by string but usually gets quite noticeable when the main strings are 30% notched. Some strings I can take to 50% and still enjoy (Grapplesnake). The O-Toro/Sync setup I've got here is good for about 5-8h depending on the intensity of the hit.
General question here : What factors do affect swing weight besides weight and balance? I want to buy HEAD speed pro that's close to my spec but I can not measure the new one i"m buying beside weight and balance So lets say if I find the new one that has the same weight and balance will the SW be somewhat similar or are there other factors that will majorly affect SW
Weight distribution affects swingweight. Imagine a racquet that's 100g and even balance. You can have all 100g in the middle of the frame to get an even balance, or you can have 50g in the tip and 50g in the tail of the racquet. Both racquets still weight 100g and are even balance, but the racquet with the weight at the tip and tail have a much higher swingweight.
@ appreciate the answer I get it know So If i get somewhat similar static weight and balance I should be good to go As a results obviously I want to have matching sticks
I don't know if this is throwing mad shade, but watching this video it looks like you arent generating much racket head speed on the forehand. A head-heavy setup will compensate for that, which might be why your shots are heavier with the Rafa. I wanted to comment because it makes me wonder if the racket is becoming a crutch. I see the comments mentioning you were tired, though.
Yeah I would say neither of us were playing particularly well after several consecutive days on court shooting drills and doing photo shoot stuff. Both of us were trying more to find a groove with our rally balls and footwork which for me usually means lower RHS. Just trying to relax and finally find a rhythm after a week of stop-start tennis.
Just a random thought, but would it be reasonable to say that if I took like the ezone 98L or RF future and weighted it up with 10 grams at 3.9 and leather grip, would it be better than their standard versions? And if it is possible would it match the levels of stability as the pure aero/strike 98
That seems feasible yes but I can't say for sure. My experience with that kind of extreme modification is limited and didn't really work when I tried it with a Pure Storm team
I just use one, a thin dry grip over a leather grip, which was too firm for Jonas at the time because the hot dry weather gave him blisters. So we put a plush tacky one on top to make things more comfortable.
Watching you guys hit with that rracquet and how high and erratic the ball is, I would say increase the string tension. That wasn't pleasant to watch at all. A mess really.
@chuckfriebe843 Waiting for your video chuck, so you can show us how it's really done - while you're at it, you can also teach us about witchcraft, which you've seemed to have saved 52 videos into your playlist for it

The quick zoom to the Nordicdots logo was Savage AF 💀
😂😂😂
He should have blurred it perhaps ;)
what's the punchline?
@@BullyGarfield.he says Jonas is cancelled *zooms into nordicdots logo in reference to a previous video
Good move!
This guy seems to know what he's talking about, he should make a channel

Wow! I grew up playing on these courts. Glad to see they are still around. Great hitting!
insane! We loved the courts, played great, beautiful location and great community around it. A super friendly coach was teaching next door.
Aloha Beckett, It was nice watching you guys on location and getting to hit with each other! I hope Jonas was as thrilled as you were! 🤣

Awesome that you have Jonas, the OG racquet reviewer, on the channel!
Love the filter/color tune on the video looks really nice
Becket, don't flatter yourself, we don't think you're a 3.5, we think you're a 3.0 XD
thats my UTR
Saying that,… you are too humble 😂

Do you play till strings break or you cut it after certain time? Thanks

once i found out you are 3.5 that was done, im 3.5. we need a semi-pro to do review because they would know way more
honestly i totally understand... sorry for deceiving you before and i hope you find betting info from the real tennis players

Isn't it about swing weight and not the balance point? Do your shots get less heavy if you add weight in the handle?
@@rbarreira2 with the Rafa specifically my swingspeed plummets by adding weight to the handle yes
does it feels like talking with ur soulmate?
