The shade match in the foundation looks spot on from where im sitting!
i was looking at reviews, and I think that the color you chose appears to be more difficult to dry down than other colors like rosewood for example, or cherry. The tips I saw for these lips products, is that you have to work fast, apply in one swipe, dont rub your lips together for several minutes(for your shade), but once dry, your lips will feel balmy and confortable. I hope that helps! It is not you LAuren, don't worry lol! It is a difficult color to work with, this product is high maintenance apparently... so not for everyone I guess.

I’m 68 and I LOVE the foundation ! One little drop on the back of my hand covers my entire face! I’m also enjoying the blushes and bronzer a great deal. Her lipliners are excellent as well. As for the atomic shake, a big thumbs down for me. I tried the same color and my issue was the stickiness that did not go away. I literally felt that if I put my lips together, I wouldn’t be able to open my mouth. It was that bad! I didn’t pick up the eye paint as it was so similar to DM.

I really like the Maybelline superstay vinyl liquid lipsticks! I bought a couple from their original collection and two more from their newer nude collection! I think they're great, and they work for such a range of styles! I love a juicy, gradient lip and those allow me to get that effect in a way that lasts for hours, unlike my favorite lip tints.

Hi Lauren, the Haus Foundation colors are like MAC colors. If you’re a cool, you get a warm shade, and vice versa. I hope that helps.

Oh those Atomic Shake lipsticks....so terrible! I gave the one I had away. No matter how long I waited, it never dried and was so gummy and stuck my lips together. I will say that the one item I miss from the old brand were the liquid liners. They were the best I've ever used, and I'm surprised they didn't bring them back for the rebrand.
Why give such a terrible product to someone else to struggle with? Trash it if is doo doo.

I love the combination between the frosty/taupe-y base and the chartreuse. There is something so innately complementary between the two that it's difficult to explain outright.

I hatttted that liquid lip product, it made me feel claustrophobic. I really like the formula of the highlighters, especially the super shimmery ones. Her eyebrow pencil was bomb too.

The lip oil in that color (Tint) is my fave! I like that it's thinner and doesn't have a fragrance. It's a pretty color too!
I bought the peachy highlighter soon after they came out and I ended up returning it. It was too shimmery. The brand is one that I WANT to love but nothing really calls to me. Well, the packaging calls to me but the products don’t.
Natasha, my first impression was exactly the same. But after trying it again, i realized that there was probably more shimmer on the surface at the start, but now it is normal highliter and i love it! I am glad i gave it a second chance! I am not a highlighter girl, but the peach one is perfect for my skintone and does not leave a cast.
Some of the highlighters do have glitter, others don't! Rose Quartz has no glitter. It's the most beautiful smooth formula. I also have fire opal and it does. Those are both blushes for me. I wish they indicated the different formulas. I want one of the smooth formulas in a lighter, highlight shade. You got Peach Quartz?

I have NO idea why your lipstick is so bad! I only own the blue red one (Sorry, the name escapes me) and it's phenomenal! I wore it literally 12 hours last Halloween and it never budged, wasn't sticky, it was literally bulletproof. I just shook the shit out of it and put it on following directions. Made sure not to apply it too thickly, no rubbing lips together. It was perfect. Just picked up two of the eyeliners in red and black and they are amazing too. I need like, all of her line!

This eye look is gorgeous. Will be recreating immediately. I love the Haus labs foundation and I feel like its best applied with my fingers and then patted over with a sponge. It's the only foundation I apply that way! For reference I have normal skin 😊

Oh my… I love the atomic shake lipsticks so much! I don’t have the issues that you did at all. The only thing I noticed is that I do have to apply it fast. But honestly, it’s one of my favorite lip products ever.
I don’t put lip oil on before using it though… maybe that was your problem? Or maybe it just works differently on different people 🤷♀️

once again lauren mae beauty doing the RESEARCH 😅 i feel SO VALIDATED, thank you for this video. i got a few shades of the nyx shine loud liquid lipsticks back when they first started blowing up on tiktok, and THIS flaky thing is exactly what happened to me with those! it was so weird cuz the longevity varied with the shades, like one of them looked decent for maybe a couple hours but two of them were exactly like this demo and started flaking immediately. i felt like i must be doing something wrong but i tried a ton of different application methods, primers, allowing time to "activate"... so this video makes me feel like it wasn't just me, this must just be a thing that happens with certain supposedly shiny long lasting liquid lipsticks, ugh.
I wonder why it started on Amazon, kinda strange in my eyes!! Anyway I love Haus Labs. I have the blush and the foundation love both. My daughter has the highlighter and Wwoweee it’s pigmented! Thanks Lauren always love watching

This works for me for the lip vinyl but it is still just the way it works for me. Feel like I need to put that in there. 1st off I have the rosewood color, I have been eyeing the cherry red one though. I do one lip at a time and let it dry separately. Yes it may take more time but it works for me and lasts all day. I also don't go all the way to the corners of my mouth. My lips naturally have a downturn, so this helps keep me from resting bitch face 😅. Again, this is in the rosewood shade, which is close to my natural color.

Oh and always scrub and moisturize lips about 30 min before use.❤❤❤

I bought the rms hydra powder blush recemtly in French rosé and it looks very similar to the Haus labs rose quartz highlighter! Looks beautiful.
OK. So i absolutely HATED the lip stain at first but after playing around I finally figured it out. It does take a while to apply, but so worth it because it last all day. So what I do is before I apply my makeup, I coat my lips with lip oil. I then apply all my make up. After I am done, I shake the lacquer for a good 2 min (or longer). I then scrape off all the product on the doe foot and apply. I then leave my mouth open for AT LEAST 2 to 3 minutes. Then if needed, I apply a second coat using the same technique. It's very time consuming, but better than applying lip color all day long. I hope this helps. I have the colors red coral and rosewood. The red was a little harder to get right, but once you get the hang of it, you will love it.

I bought this lipstick in every colour. I think there may be a problem with something in yours. Oil kills this lipstick, so nothing with oil, even as a base. Maybe a light layer of talc on your lipstick first, then sit in a cool place so it can dry totally. It looked like you pressed your lipstick together maybe too soon. I went to a wedding and people kept asking non stop how my lipstick didnt move for 7 hours ❤ loved it ❤ I wish you luck with this ❤

I Love The eye shadow and bronzer! I really want to try Haus Labs but we don’t have it in my country. That lipstick looks so awful, the Maybelline vinyl lip glosses are probably better (I haven’t tried either but seem similar)

I’ve bought Haus labs old products liquid eyeshadow for like $2-4 depending on Amazon. It’s not bad at all. especially for under a cup of coffee. They still have some of them I think.
Try the Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink....lol. I have only tried the blushes from Haus Labs. I purchased 1 on the first day of the sale and it came in 3 days. I used it and went on the Sephora website and ordered 2 more...lol. I really want to try the highlighter but can't decide on what shade.
I love the eye paints! The rose gold, the platinum, the gold- they blend out very easily, stay forever, and are so reliable.
I use the eye pains on the lips and they are awesome! I use them as blush too! So versatile!
I really like their Rose Quartz highlighter. It's a lot like Natasha Denona's Duo Glow (Rayo).

I am currently a very similar skin tone to you. Ilmy most perfect foundation shade matches in the winter are Haus Labs 100N/ Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Light 104… but in the summer I can work my way up Light Medium 11 in PML.
I feel like the foundation is the same as the Nars light reflecting. If anyone is looking for a dupe of the Rose Quartz highlighter, the baked pink one from AOA from Shopmissa is spot on.
THAT liquid lipstick formula reminds me sooo much of the one (the only for life) Maybelline Vinyl something liquid lipsticks! I thoroughly HATE mine. Probably the same awful chemical compound and everything, too, even though they're different companies and price points.
But, everything else looks (and behaves) as beautiful as I was hoping for!
I love the color of that haus labs lipstick but now I'm scared to try it😂 do you have another lipstick you like that is anything close to that color?! 🤩
Maybelline and Urban Decay have their own versions of the lip laquer. I have one of the Maybelline ones and it's pretty good. I have to be, like, *perfect* with its application which is annoying, but that's just how the product goes. Maybe it's worth a try? And a heck of a lot cheaper than Haus Labs.

@@west_coastjen509 yes! but it has to be shaken! I made the mistake of using it directly out of the tube and it would not dry! lol And there are no instructions with the Maybelline ones, so i found out the hard way. Now I love it!

The Maybelline vinyl lip colors seem to be the same concept (shake to activate, shiny finish). I have several and I love them.
The entire Lip application process, the descriptors, the slurping, ... freaking hilarious! A friend of mine swears by it. The color looked great on you, though.

Does Peach Quartz have glitter? I know Rose Quartz doesn't (used as blush) but I also have Fire Opal (used as blush) which does have glitter. I want to pick up an actual highlighter from the range without glitter.
Near the coast lines the light is always different than inland because the oceans are reflective.

How did you remove that lip lacquer? It seems like the kind of formula that would be tricky to remove without scrubbing a lot.
Did u try opening the boxes from the other side? Without the sticker?
For some reason the Red Coral shade doesnt work as well as the others in the Atomic Lip Lacquer
The atomic shake works will on my lips. I only use it if I need to wear a hot lip to a dinner.
