When a brand re-brands as "clean" I feel like they need to explain what was so "dirty" before? Why did you feel the need to "clean" it up? If a clean-up was needed why did you feel like it was okay to launch the dirty version to begin with?
YES exactly! Especially since her brand is so new. The clean beauty movement was well underway. So if it was so important...why didn't they launch a clean beauty brand to begin with? Not like they'd been around for 20 years and reformulated as the science and technology improved. The knowledge was available. They decided not to use it.
The OG Kat Von D product packagings reflected their brand identity very well, to the point that if you hand-over a KVD compact powder, or any product, to a makeup lover years ago, they can tell that it was from KVD, even if you hide the brand label. I was expecting the same for Haus Labs. Cover the brand name, and it'd be just "another makeup product" in the sea of many. Did the products reflected Gaga's essence and artisty? I love her but no.
i disagree. i'd rather they spend more on ingredients than specially designed packages that we have to bear the cost. packaging doesnt matter to me so i'm a little different.
No ma'am! Not harsh at all. We thank you for your honesty! Would LOVE for you to do a celebrity line ranking!! DO IT, like yesterday!!! lol thank you so much Alex! Enjoy your time in NY.
It would've been so easy for them to make a palette for each of her albums and we would've mindlessly eaten it up, me included The sickening neon pink and rainbow fantasy from Artpop? Neutrals with a baby blue and pink to accompany for Joanne? A rich golds and bronzes story with Cheek to cheek? I have no idea why the company seems to lack the boldness and creativity that the founder has At least the highlighters, bronzers and lingers are good but I haven't heard anything stellar about any other product, especially with companies like Fenty in the game
I work at Sephora and my theory is Haus had to rebrand before they would agree to carry the products. "Clean" is everyone's obsession right now and brands like Ilia are their top sellers. It's always about money.
I know Lady Gaga hasn't done the whole insane off the wall outfits and makeup for like 10 years, but I still really expected editorial innovative makeup from her. Like at least the packaging lol. This rebrand seems a little more interesting but still so underwhelming for The Lady Gaga. It feels like she's overlooking what she could do in order to be appealing to the masses
ARTPOP came out in 2013 and she was literally at her peak of being weird at that point. Not to mention in Chromatica she's gone back to the outrageous looks. So not sure what you mean about the "ten years" comment because that's just not true, lol. There was like 3-4 years in her career during her time with Tony and then Joanne where she looked "normal".
Yup. Feels like they weren't making money, so they spent a ridiculous amount to rebrand and hope people would buy more. I want brands that know who they are and what they stand for out the gate. Also people want innovation when it comes to such a saturated industry...not more of the same. You're beautiful, as always Alex and I agree with your comments.💜🧡💚
@21 Pilots The old stuff is way better w/ the liquid eye liners and glam attack shimmers. That pigment paint is trash compared to the glam attack. The old gel eyeliners work better than the new ones, too.
Not only were they making a sh*t ton of money before, but they also chose to be REVOLUTIONARY for this rebrand. The same way Gaga is Politically and socially conscious, she chose to be eco conscious with her brand. Ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients and packaging made from recycled materials are a rarity in the superficial & highly polluting world of cosmetics. She did all of that, WITHOUT sacrificing the performance and formula/quality of her products.
A lot of celebrities have come out with makeup brands. The only ones that I have actually been impressed by is Fenty Beauty, Rare Beauty, and Flower Beauty. Otherwise, celebrity brands have seemed boring and like they don't have good enough formulas to justify the price.
I’ve only tried the liquid liner and pencil liner, wasn’t intrigued enough to splurge on any of the other products. I feel the same as you, I’m a big fan off Lady Gaga, her music and her whole vibe and expected her makeup brand to reflect that. It just doesn’t. It’s boring and bland and safe, words I never thought I would associate with Gaga 🤷♀️
I was expecting a better more exciting version of KVD or dying Urban Decay, she could've taken over that niche of edgy, artistry driven brand so easily if done right. She decided to go the opposite trendy direction, that is already so saturated 🥱
It's actually kind of revolutionary, because she wanted to create makeup that MATTERED. The same way she is socially and politically conscious, she is also eco conscious...which is a rarity for the makeup world. The cosmetics industry is wildly superficial and heavily polluting. She reinvented the brand by having sustainably sourced ingredients and packaging made from recycled materials WITHOUT compromising the formula and performance of the products.
@@tonic5179 I agree with pretty much all of the statements besides that the rebrand is revolutionary. Sustainability is the new trend because that's the consumer demand right now. There are a lot of brands that come out of the get go with "sustainable packaging" and "conscious sourcing". Good formulas are the bottom line, because the brand with bad formulas simply won't survive. There's no real innovation on being a clean brand with somewhat sustainable packaging, it's a MUST. Lady Gaga as a person is amazingly outspoken, but what does her makeup brand bring to the table? Do they donate to social causes or support any communities? I don't see anything like that on their website. And btw I'm not hating on her brand, I think it's cool, it just doesn't stand out for me in the sea of other brands. Kinda sad, because Gaga as a person definitely stands out and is an icon.
Another underwhelming launch imo. The liquid eyeshadow is almost an exact shade dupe for the Huda Beauty Matte & Metal Liquid Eyeshadow in Minted, but Huda's has an applicator which is SO precise and doesn't blend out so patchy. Same price too and its been around for yearsss. :X
Here in the EU there’s higher standards/stricter regulations on approved cosmetic ingredients already, so whenever (non-EU) brands feel the need to label their shit as ‘clean’ i’m just… meh.
@@belalugosisdead4444 Tell that to the original poster, I was letting him know they're made in EU since he was praising that. Also, standrads ARE higher for cosmetics in EU from my knowledge. But she has products made in US as well as Korea, it's a global brand. She chooses whatever market excells at making a certain product.
@@tonic5179 they said that EU has higher standards and you replied that her products are made in Italy and Germany. How would my reply work for their comment?
I've been following The Welsh Twins and I learned about Lab Muffin Beauty Science through James Welsh, the Skincare twin. I was never a fan of these "clean" and "paraben-free" and "EWG" shit, Lab Muffin Beauty Science just proved me correct.
Clean beauty have also been around long enough for us to see that their products got spoiled so much faster than "regular" products. I'll take my paraben over bacteria and mold, thank you very much.
@@inkasaraswati7625 I am not very familiar with these "clean" products' shelf life and expiration but I'll take the parabens and preservatives over these "clean" stuffs 100%
Would love to see a comparison reviews between all the eye pigment paints: haus labs, about face, daness myricks, half magic, etc. I've always wanted to try them but not ALL of them, so would love to have some guidance to my decisions!
i saw a makeup artist compare the haus labs, about face and and the half magic eye paints. i can’t remember if it was on tiktok of an instagram reel though
I really hate it when any brand pick to use a name that is basically a common buzzword, buzzphrase, or so. Feels so scammy. Doubly so in this case when "clean" beauty products already are a lot of BS.
I feel like everyone has been disappointed by this brand (including me). When you think of Gaga, you think of her cool makeup and creative outfits. So, to see her makeup brand be boring and have blah packaging makes it just seem like a money grab that she didn't really put a lot of thought into.
As a fan of Gaga and makeup enjoyer (is that term even exist?) i really enjoyed all your video esp this one. I havent heard/keeping things up about celebrity’s makeup in a while, including Gaga’s. And after watching 3 mins of this video, i can say that the brand is kinda giving me different vibe after the rebranding.
I've always admired your honesty whether it be for underperforming products or looks that might work on some people but not for others. So i am definitely freakin excited for your vid about rating singers' products and music! I love Gaga's music and fashion (but not always lol) but her products? Nuh uh
Had a chance to try the Haus fluid paints. Key difference I’ve found is that they never seemed to completely set for my hooded, folded lids. I’d still get creasing, even though they share the same quick-blend time as the about face and Danessa products. It’s like the dry-down curve is just shallower. Other than that, the pigment content is comparable, and the colors are strangely overlapping with about face’s graphic, festival vibe. The creasing seems fixable, setting with powdered shadow, but then - why are we bothering?
Do they crease even if you apply an eye shadow primer? Not a concealer, but an actual eye primer? What about Danessa Myricks 24 hours cream? How long can you wear them on your lids without creasing? And do you need an eye primer? I'm asking bc many shadows crease on me even with primer, especially with creams and powder formulas that are "silky" like Kat Von D or Viseart. Revlon Colorstay cream shadows are the only creams I can wear so far, and for powder formulas Colourpop and even Wet n Wild work better for me bc they're "drier" but still blendable.
I’ve not yet tried bothering with priming the Haus Labs fluid paints, if only ‘cuz it seems counterintuitive for me for a fluid product? I can try it, I know about face carries a primer for their fluid formula, so there may be peculiarities to the fluid vehicle that any ole eye primer may not work. That being said, I haven’t encountered the degree of creasing with about face and Danessa’s products that I’m seeing with the Haus Labs products. But then, I’m also not been trying to push these (or other ultra-pigmented products) to very longwear uses. In both cases, powder is the one, one thing that’s really preserved the longevity. The only caution I’d offer is the risk that piling on lots and lots of product may make creasing worse.
@@jobertbarin9736 thank you for your detailed answer. I wear an eye primer under every eye shadow: liquid, gel, cream or powder. Even some pressed powder formulas crease on me as stated above, I think that "silkiness" entails more oil in their formula to make it softer and more blendable, but it will cause creasing in a lot of us with normal to oily skin. Such a shame bc I really like Viseart but I won't purchase anything more bc of that.
I mean, its a relaunch of her brand. So im willing to try it. I feel like it's OK to have a variety of brands with similar products. I like to mix and match so its like a kid in a candy store to me. I don't think she's "late". There's no such thing as late as long as there's a market of people who like these things. I think people are being way harsh on her because it's "GAGA", because of a lack of wild and crazy colors. She doesn't always look that way, so it makes sense to have softer colors too. Now Half Magic and About Face, im all over them for color. All in all I feel like there's a place for everyone to enjoy all the brands and all the products. Makeup junkies rejoice! Lol. Sorry for the long reply.
I bought the makeup when it was 50% off on Amazon. I like the matte lip crayons, lip gloss, and eyeliners. Wouldn't pay full price for them tho Not interested in the rebrand, though am curious about future launches. Your eyelook came together quite nicely!
Awesome video! That teal eyepaint wore beautifully with your skin tones! The in depth reviews are great, I would only want to see more variations of looks or more compounding of makeup to see more product....have you ever thought about doing a video on old makeup? Like when to know it's too far gone, how to extend the shelf life of your makeup products, unconventional uses for older makeup that still has some life? I think you could have some great input and ideas! Thanks for the content!
Agreed with you on the colors! I haven't tried the brand for myself, so I can't speak to the quality, but I expected more bold and art-pop sort of colors. The liners started to get there for me, with the yellow, blue, black and white.
As someone who is fresh into makeup, I find your content refreshing and honest. Also I really like the deep cyan eye paint too. I looks soo good on you.
OBSESSED with that green/teal color! I was mentally wishing you’d use the Chartreuse liner as your lower liner for a full 70s vibe. Lol. As always thank you for your honest opinions about brands regardless of your feelings for the creator(s) of them! 🙌🏽
I don’t even care about celebrity makeup, I just watch you because I like you and love hearing your opinions. And my favorite part of the video was your fight with bronzer brush 😂😂 loved it ❤️ Enjoy your trip and can’t wait to see the ranking!
I recently bought two of those eye paints and I found that they work better if you lay down a pretty generous amount where you want it, let it dry slightly, then gently blend with a patting motion.
Haus Labs' definition of "clean": "As there is no global standard for 'clean' beauty today, we feel it's important to be transparent about our approach to clean. 'Clean' at Haus Labs means so much more than the 2700+ questionable ingredients we do not use. We prioritize the safety, quality, performance and sustainability of every ingredient we use and consciously formulate our products to optimize performance with skincare. We are curious and believe that by continuously seeking out and experimenting with new technologies, we can push the boundaries of innovation at the intersection of art and science. @@sashaweasley6141 clean beauty would be the marketing thing, claiming things are unclean when chemists and dermatologists have been saying for years are not dirty or harmful. People can have good intentions with clean beauty like they sound to have here, it's just that it isn't based on facts but rather fear mongering concepts. The concept of clean beauty would be the marketing, not their motivations or how the brand feels, get it? I fell for it too and would always talk about it until I started formal education on the subject at university (chemist). I'd suggest watching the channels Alexandra recommended on the video, one of them being Lab Muffin Beauty Science (a professional in the area), where she goes on how clean beauty isn't backed up by reliable sources: ua-cam.com/video/wkWX2AXNuxg/v-deo.html&ab_channel=LabMuffinBeautyScience Video title (so you know before you click): "Clean Beauty Is a Scam and Won't Give Us Safer Products | Lab Muffin Beauty Science"

A more retro graphic look would be awesome to see you do but would also enjoy seeing a really grungy look 😍

Celebrity brands can GTFO at this point, honestly. I'm kinda at the point where I don't care who it is or what it is tbh. Except maybe Fenty. Cause.... That slapped, and it's still going strong. Oh and Flower. Props to DB for going drugstore. 👏
No brands that test on animals can GTFO! I can't believe people hate celeb brands that don't test on animals and then buy makeup from MAC, Nars, Benefit...
Alex! Ever since I stumbled upon your videos the way I do my my makeup changed completely. I find your videos extremely helpful and informative, even the ones I don't think I'll get much out of I end up learning something new. So thank you!
Really appreciate the honesty Alex. Definitely agree with your overall assessment. The look came out stunning and those eye paints definitely peaked my interest. Brands like this are a little harder to get a good price on in Australia. Hopefully some cute colors come out in the future.
I liked the look with the green eyeshadow without the shimmer and without the eyeliner. Very graphic. The color also comes out properly this way.Clean and in your face. This is a look that would make me stop you in the street to tell you that your eye makeup is bomb. I do wish the eyeshadow would be a little more pigmented though.
i really enjoy your content, you have such a great personality and you're very upfront with your opinions. i've also really been loving the direction you've taken with your makeup recently!
I purchased the bronzer in Light Level 1, and loved it. I Also got the same highlighter you used here, the orange lip oil which is pretty, and I got 4 paints and really liked the blushy shade as a blush. Having said that, I actually own just about everything from HL’s 1.0. Their glam attacks were pretty cool, and they had the best lip liners in my opinion. Their old bronzers/highlighters duos and blush/highlighter duos had a lot a fallout which made me waste a lot of product, but were super rich in pigment. I also always loved their lip crayons, and I guess the rebranded ones are the same formula. The only thing different in this launch, are the paints. I don’t really see this re-brand as a huge improvement tbh. I do prefer the packaging for the bronzers and highlighters since the older ones were in cardboard components, and these feel a little more lux. But the brand overall felt more Gaga in it’s first launch; even the shade names were very Gaga. Idk really know how I feel about this whole clean aesthetic.
Not really blown away enough to buy. Plus I'm broke, so there's that lol. Thank you for your honesty. One of the many, many reasons I enjoy your videos so much. Hope you have a safe and happy trip. ❤
Would so neat to see how you’d do a natural look, a more creative look, and a glam look with Haus Labs since they have so many colors and products to work with!!! Love the videos and love your personality!!
I bet the shimmer on its own would be stunning! Fire opal would be a fabulous eyeshadow actually. And the peach highlighter…. I’m buying for sure! It reminds me of Becca pearl highlighter which is such a unique and gorgeous highlight. Yep, the peach highlighter and green paint , and shimmers got me! This is SO much better! Surprised she didn’t come out with more eye paint colors???
Short and sweet explanation is the words “hypoallergenic”, “clean”, etc are not regulated by any official platform. You could call anything clean or hypoallergenic and it not be illegal basically. Super simple explanation guys. Basically just do your own research if you really want/need those things ☺️💕✨
Haus labs is an evolving brand and Gaga probably understands that, she gives so much back to the community so I still want to support her. Eventually I think she will continue to improve her products. Still going to support Gaga and her brand.
Here for the honesty ✨💕 As an esthetician, I agree with you about the whole “clean” trend, which is what it is, a trend. I understand wanting cleaner makeup, but there are so many ingredients that aren’t considered clean in other countries. But there are other reasons too that makes me kinda giggle like dude c’mon. Like a lot of the time, to even get the stamp of clean, brands usually have to pay big money for it. Also, I’m curious how you feel about Gwen Stefani’s GXVE! She is also a “clean” brand and just launched new products. She has a blue eyeliner that you might like as well, I thought it was pretty creamy, doesn’t skip. But I’d love to see that and the celebrity makeup ranking!!!
New Orleans We always love watching your videos! Love the highlighter. I hv medium tan skin with neutral undertones and can't wait to try it! Hopefully soon.
My mind thought Baby Yoda after you added the waterline liner and now I can’t unsee it in this look 😅 Really great, honest review. I haven’t looked into Gaga’s brand, but as a fan I definitely expected something bolder. I would die for that blush tho (I think it was blush, the one left untouched to be given away) oh it was so beautiful!
When she first launched with liquid shadows everyone was like "I hate liquid shadows theyre just not my thing, why would I use these" and now evvvvveryone is doing liquid shadows and eye paints 😂 the only difference seems to be that they're really trying to make it clear that theirs aren't just for the eye, Gaga even used Blush Matte as a blush in a tutorial. On the packaging, I'm conflicted. So many said the OG packaging wasn't "Gaga" enough (I guess they wanted it wrapped in meat idk lmao), and now with the rebrand I'm seeing people say they miss it and that it was more "Gaga". Either way, I dont love that fancier packaging raised the price significantly, especially on the bronzers and highlighters 😞 I liked what I saw in sephora swatch-wise, but overall I miss the fun shade names and some of my favorite products are MIA as of rn 🥺
@@stxrstrxckmxteo515 the new packaging is pretty basic to me, but I like that it's more environmentally friendly. Nothing's ever "gaga" enough for her fans lmao
If this was the initial launch, I’d be all over it. Although we have seen these ideas before, this still feels more like Lady Gaga to me. It’s just too little, too late.
The real MVP of this video was your NAILS, oh my god they are _perfect_. Short stilettos?! In that natural color?! LOVE. That eye look was a close second though, damn that color is good.

I am late seeing this review on the new Lady GaGa! Love the mean green eye paint on you! I appreciate your honest thoughts! Maybe it felt like an after thought on the brands decision to come out with eye paint so late in the game.
Would love a smokey, grungy look with that black base or something more graphic with the white one! And I would really appreciate a “top” or some sort of guide to singers and their make-up brand. I don’t own a SINGLE product from any of those lines, no, not even Fenty, I usually prefer to buy make-up artists’ lines (on the pricy scale) or drugstore brands. Also, I have a light olive coloring (a bit darker than yours but still on the light spectrum) and always felt that most products are geared towards those with medium or deeper tones. Which is great, all for inclusivity, but I feel I can find something suitable in other brands. So yeah, interested to hear your thoughts to see if any of the products mentioned are worth it!
I LOVE that teal eye paint color on you! I gotta try a similar color (with my very "Winter" coloring). Also, thanks to you, I bought a makeup remover pen (same idea, just different brand) & it's a game changer when dealing with liquid eyeliner issues & mascara dots! Thanks so much❤️
I was interested but I'm more interested in about face so I didn't pick anything up. Really value your opinion Alex! Also, the celebrity songs/makeup ranking sounds so fun 😂
I really love everything how it looks on you beautiful 😍. I have the red and blue eyeliner I love very much the blue one more. And I am hoping to buy the green eyeshadow and more❤
I wanted her first collection soooo bad, but missed the big collection sale on Amazon. Wondering if you could do a early winter autumnish? look for a afternoon wedding for dark olive print dress? I know this is specific, anything you do will be fine. Love your videos!💯❤ Also, late as in covid might have affected it? Lady Gaga also has matured a lot, hope she keeps that individuality💋
I think I really like most of it, just like other brands. Not all is a hit, but really pretty good here. Not everyone is a MUA,this is mostly for the rest of us.
I fully agree. When I saw Haus labs I was so underwhelmed, whereas About Face made me so excited not just to try the products, but to be creative with make up again in general. It inspired me to have fun and explore in a way I expected Haus labs to. What a shame! 😔

Huda’s been copying beauty brands for years now so I don’t feel bad about that. Her stuff isn’t anything special either imo.🤷🏻♀️
Here in the EU there’s higher standards/stricter regulations on approved cosmetic ingredients already, so whenever (non-EU) brands feel the need to label their shit as ‘clean’ i’m just… meh.
Many of her products are made in Italy and Germany.
@@tonic5179 products being made outside of the U.S doesn't necessarily mean that they follow stricter guidelines for ingredients, unfortunately
I love the Welsh twins
Speaking of Lab Muffin, she's actually indeed a chemistry PhD, but not specifically cosmetics! She is extremely knowledgeable though. 😉
@@kagitsune she is a cosmetic chemist PhD
@@inkasaraswati7625 I am not very familiar with these "clean" products' shelf life and expiration but I'll take the parabens and preservatives over these "clean" stuffs 100%
Would love to see a comparison reviews between all the eye pigment paints: haus labs, about face, daness myricks, half magic, etc. I've always wanted to try them but not ALL of them, so would love to have some guidance to my decisions!
This! And apparently Nyx has some now too. Wondering how a drug store option measures up.
Same! Also the Depixym and the MUFE.
i saw a makeup artist compare the haus labs, about face and and the half magic eye paints. i can’t remember if it was on tiktok of an instagram reel though
And Suva
I really hate it when any brand pick to use a name that is basically a common buzzword, buzzphrase, or so. Feels so scammy. Doubly so in this case when "clean" beauty products already are a lot of BS.
As a marketing executive, I can assure you without doubt, they are indeed all just buzzwords!
Your super close ups as you do your eyes are amazing and on point. It’s so nice to be able to see someone do eye make up that close! Awesome!
I feel like everyone has been disappointed by this brand (including me). When you think of Gaga, you think of her cool makeup and creative outfits. So, to see her makeup brand be boring and have blah packaging makes it just seem like a money grab that she didn't really put a lot of thought into.
YES, grunge and glittery, that’s literally my style and I need inspiration
As a fan of Gaga and makeup enjoyer (is that term even exist?) i really enjoyed all your video esp this one. I havent heard/keeping things up about celebrity’s makeup in a while, including Gaga’s. And after watching 3 mins of this video, i can say that the brand is kinda giving me different vibe after the rebranding.
I've always admired your honesty whether it be for underperforming products or looks that might work on some people but not for others. So i am definitely freakin excited for your vid about rating singers' products and music! I love Gaga's music and fashion (but not always lol) but her products? Nuh uh
it's such a high price point for such basic stuff that a lot of brands achieve for cheaper
Always enjoy how candidly you speak. Don’t ever change that
I mean, its a relaunch of her brand.
I've really been looking forward to your review specifically because of your history with the brand. Thanks for always keeping it real!
First time I’ve seen fire opal and it’s the only thing from the brand that makes me intrigued enough to buy
I bought the makeup when it was 50% off on Amazon. I like the matte lip crayons, lip gloss, and eyeliners. Wouldn't pay full price for them tho
Not interested in the rebrand, though am curious about future launches. Your eyelook came together quite nicely!
Me, too. I really liked the lip oil and lip pencils. And the old branding is nice.
Thank you! Really fell in love with that color!
And my favorite part of the video was your fight with bronzer brush 😂😂 loved it ❤️
Enjoy your trip and can’t wait to see the ranking!
I recently bought two of those eye paints and I found that they work better if you lay down a pretty generous amount where you want it, let it dry slightly, then gently blend with a patting motion.
I am excited she took the time to make it clean and the products look promising!!
Your cracking me up with the “I don’t wanna like it but I do” attitude… love the honesty
Haus Labs' definition of "clean":
"As there is no global standard for 'clean' beauty today, we feel it's important to be transparent about our approach to clean.
Our products are made with superior quality, safe synthetic and natural ingredients because we know that not every natural ingredient is good and not every synthetic ingredient is harmful. We source our products globally, leveraging innovation expertise and technology.
We believe that kindness is not only being kind to ourselves and each other, but also being clean, cruelty-free, vegan, and kind to our planet. We are actively committed to using glass, aluminum, cellulose and post-consumer recycled materials when possible and FSC-certified paper sourced from sustainably harvested forests to reduce our climate impact and reach our goal to be 100% carbon neutral by 2027. Thank you for being a part of our journey."
I don’t think that’s marketing at all, I like that definition!
I'd suggest watching the channels Alexandra recommended on the video, one of them being Lab Muffin Beauty Science (a professional in the area), where she goes on how clean beauty isn't backed up by reliable sources:
ua-cam.com/video/wkWX2AXNuxg/v-deo.html&ab_channel=LabMuffinBeautyScience
Video title (so you know before you click): "Clean Beauty Is a Scam and Won't Give Us Safer Products | Lab Muffin Beauty Science"
Literally any cosmetic product has to be science based and safe to be approved to be sold

Celebrity brands can GTFO at this point, honestly. I'm kinda at the point where I don't care who it is or what it is tbh.
Except maybe Fenty. Cause.... That slapped, and it's still going strong. Oh and Flower. Props to DB for going drugstore. 👏

That green eye paint is beautiful and I love the highlighter.
I’m OBSESSED with this eye look and am doing it for my witch Halloween costume this year to be a little different. Thanks for the inspiration!

FYI that fire opal looks great on dark skin I mean fabulous 👌
I love your reviews because you don't kiss anyone's butt. Refreshing 🙂
You are the best. For real. Thanks for always being true to you. We need so much more of that.
I agree 100% with your opinion. Also, the green eyes are freaking gorgeous
no matter what...it looks REALLY good on you! love the bronzer, highlight, lip!
Not really blown away enough to buy. Plus I'm broke, so there's that lol.
Thank you for your honesty. One of the many, many reasons I enjoy your videos so much. Hope you have a safe and happy trip. ❤
the bronzer looks amazing. even on video it looks sooo even and beautiful
Man that eye look turned out cool and that color is so so beautiful.
Okay, I actually LOVE that lip color on you. It just looks so bougie. This whole look is high fashion. 💗
I'm pretty sure the brush end on the liners was meant to create a sharp wing, which would explain why it's flat, tapered, and stiff the way it is.

Really great, honest review. I haven’t looked into Gaga’s brand, but as a fan I definitely expected something bolder. I would die for that blush tho (I think it was blush, the one left untouched to be given away) oh it was so beautiful!
You’re so beautiful and I love your detailed evaluations of the products you review!
I love that shape and I love green eyeshadows, so I will probably get that out of this collection.

Yes to the ranking idea. 100,000% YES!!!!
Either way, I dont love that fancier packaging raised the price significantly, especially on the bronzers and highlighters 😞
I liked what I saw in sephora swatch-wise, but overall I miss the fun shade names and some of my favorite products are MIA as of rn 🥺
I’m sorry but the packaging before was giving drug store, not Gaga at all lol. Now it’s giving skincare brand which is kind of better but guess
While Haus Labs didn't have the expected aesthetic, she made over $140M in 2021. So, hardly a fail. I do want to try the new highlighters.
That bronzer looked NICE! 😍
The real MVP of this video was your NAILS, oh my god they are _perfect_. Short stilettos?! In that natural color?! LOVE.

love your video!! also I know you weren’t the biggest fan of the R.E.M collection, or at least what you tried, but her new lip collection is amazing!! The lip liners are so nice, and so are the bullet lipsticks and/or lip oils! Would love to see your first impressions or reviews!
Ohhhhhh I’ll check it out but if it’s a mess I’m holding you responsible! 😈
I am late seeing this review on the new Lady GaGa! Love the mean green eye paint on you! I appreciate your honest thoughts! Maybe it felt like an after thought on the brands decision to come out with eye paint so late in the game.
Loved the old branding.

It’s not the products; it’s your artistry that made this work.
Comparing the pop girls is so lame, but I really do feel like Halsey's About Face is what Haus Labs wanted to be/could've been 😬
I fully agree. When I saw Haus labs I was so underwhelmed, whereas About Face made me so excited not just to try the products, but to be creative with make up again in general. It inspired me to have fun and explore in a way I expected Haus labs to. What a shame! 😔
