There biiiiiiiiig gaps in his story. Omissions are lies
Nthabi my darling, there's no grown man who is in his right mind would just decide to travel to a foreign country without any solid plan, no money, no secured accommodation, no friend or associate to receive him on arrival. That's very risky and unsafe for anyone, it doesn't matter who they are or where they come from. I have absolutely nothing against his nationality or skin color, mara his story is just not make sure.
It is not about believing him. It's about how he came to SA and went to Singapore to dance 🕺. The story indicates someone who came to SA to try life without a scare skill. South Africa immigration is lax. When he went to Singapore, he had $60. Unfortunately, most advanced countries would deport you the same day because you are not demonstrating that you can support yourself. They do not want a burden on their systems. But equally, Singapore is expensive $60 would not scratch the surface.
His story might be true, but it is sad that he ended up being involved in criminality in South Africa. Distribution of drugs it is criminal and unfortunately affects individuals,
families and communities. Obviously, he did not have options but to be exploited and possibly him exploiting others.
There are lots of whites who come to SA with bad intentions and exploitation of children. Money laundering or running away from crimes in their countries.
So it is not about the colour of one skin but rather government departments doing their job.
My sister its not about uniting Africa......also why must africa unification be based in SA you never hear about unity in their country ??

Not sure what to make of this story. The dots are not connecting. Let me just admire Owamie & the new studio. Our law enforcement makes it very easy for criminals. I used to live in a complex in Rodepoort and we would see Nigerians selling drugs. When people in the complex reported them they would be released the same day. They would even boast and say we have too many connections in the police sation and we will be back soon. SA is a playground for criminals. Lord have mercy on our country

This story is so twisted. Mummy in Ghana was dashing money to her grown son back and forth while this guy tried to run with wolves...the bogus agent who sent him to Singapore for nothing, the Nigerian who ran away etc.
😂😂 I thing Oga, just wanted to come to SA, but he pretended as if he's passing only for the visa. They are the ones who are making bad names for us in other countries, before for South Africans was easy to travel to other countries without visa but because of this people, now we are all suffering.
They come here, still our identity, and enter those countries as South Africans, only to find they're there to commit crime.
Other countries chase ppl away if there are no legal documents bt here we keep them, that is why we are in a mess😢. Thank u Owmie

Foreigners come here or end up here from or due to different reasons. In the case of some being ignorant they go through the most, loose all they have and end up not being able to return.

The immigration was not wrong here. Im sure Singapore is visa on arrival but you need to have your proof of accomodation, proof of funds, and return ticket. Imagine as expensive as Singapore is and you only have 50 dollars in your pocket. They obviously wont allow you in. It was not a fraud but just ignorance. And it wasn't jail where he was held but just a holding area for deportation. Problem is most people dont know how to check for travel requirements themselves and so called agents take advantage.

That's what they do in the airport. If you there's a problem with your papers, there's a jail in the airport or a holding cell they keep you there before they put you on the next plane back home.
