How to play as Amy Rose and other characters in Classic Mode - Sonic Origins Plus

- Sonic 1 Classic Mode:
To play as Sonic & Tails (AI), Sonic alone, Tails alone, Knuckles alone, Amy alone or Amy & Tails (AI):
1) Firstly input the level select code on the title screen; Up, Down, Left, Right then press X on a PS5 controller.
2) Then when level select appears highlight the "PLAYER" option and select the number you want; 00 for Sonic & Tails (AI), 01 for Sonic alone, 02 for Tails alone, 03 for Knuckles alone, 04 for Amy alone or 05 for Amy & Tails (AI).
3) Then select the zone you want and press start.
Sonic 2 Classic Mode:
To play as Sonic & Tails (AI), Sonic alone, Tails alone, Knuckles alone, Knuckles & Tails (AI), Amy alone or Amy & Tails (AI):
1) Firstly input the level select code on the title screen; Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right then press X (on a PS5 controller).
2) Then when level select appears play "00" on the soundtest three times in a row. A small rectangular box stating GAME CONFIG will appear. Highlight the "PLAYER" option and then select the character pairing you want; Sonic & Tails (AI), Sonic alone, Tails alone, Knuckles alone, Amy alone, Knuckles & Tails (AI) or Amy & Tails (AI).
3) Press "OK". Then select the zone you want and press start.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles Classic Mode:
To play as Sonic alone, Sonic & Tails (AI), Tails alone, Knuckles alone, Amy alone or Amy & Tails (AI):
1) Firstly input the level select code on the title screen; Up, Up Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up then press X (on a PS5 controller).
2) Then on level select press Square (on a PS5 controller) to change the character to Sonic alone, Tails alone, Knuckles alone or Amy alone. To play as Sonic & Tails (AI); Select Sonic and the press the triangle button on a PS5 controller and Tails will appear next to Sonic. To play as Amy & Tails (AI); Select Amy and the press the triangle button on a PS5 controller and Tails will appear next to Sonic.
3) Then select the zone you want and press start.

To play as Amy & Tails (AI); Select Amy and the press the triangle button on a PS5 controller and Tails will appear next to Amy.
3) Then select the zone you want and press start.
Finally i can play sonic cd for the 700th billionth time:D

It really makes that great for Players is what makes this more unique while playing as any character in Classic Mode is each character has a continue Animation with Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 being Completely Fixed. You can only get Continue Animations in Classic Mode as it had lives and continues. Anniversary Mode, Mirror Mode, and probably Boss Rush + Sonic CD Don’t have Continue Screens and Knuckles's Continue Animation for Sonic 1 and 2 is literally the same Continue Animation like we saw in Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Thanks for showing fans on how people can play any character in Classic Mode it’s going to become really really useful and fun to play around with. Sega decided to allow that feature in I even managed to beat Sonic 1 in Classic Mode as Sonic & Tails 2 Player Co-Op Style a few months ago and then beat Sonic 1 Classic Mode as Tails with the game not crashing itself a few days ago. I am trying to do something no one else done before you can do it too if you want to become more popular and get more subscribers in Sonic 2 I’m fine with it which is playing Amy by herself because lots of the walkthroughs of Sonic 2 in Sonic Origins as Amy. Lots of people and fans always do Amy and Tails but not Amy without Tails, people already done Knuckles Alone in Sonic 2 and Knuckles & Tails in Sonic 2. People even managed like you managed to do Sonic 3 as Amy & Tails, Amy by herself but there was no gameplay footage of Amy Alone in Sonic 2. You can even choose to play as just Amy in Anniversary’s Character Selection Mode for Sonic 2 and have Save Progress as well as there is Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Sonic Tails, Knuckles Tails, Amy Tails. People already done through their Anniversary Walkthrough of Sonic 2 was Sonic & Tails, Sonic Alone, Tails Alone, Knuckles Alone, Knuckles & Tails, and finally Amy & Tails, but no Walkthrough of "Amy Alone" was done in Sonic 2 for some reason.
I started doing it on June 24th this evening and got all the Chaos Emeralds as Amy without Tails only made it half way to Casino Night Zone but didn’t TV record, Screen Record, any of it yet showing my fans because I don’t feel like doing it yet. People can make their own decisions too you know. Maybe you can try doing a walkthrough of Amy Alone in Sonic 2 on Sonic Origins in Anniversary Mode, Classic Mode (Won’t Save, easy to keep data on Switch where they left off when playing as other Characters in Classic Mode as it has Sleep Mode and you can turn the console off anytime turn it back on still having the left over not saved gameplay till it Crashes, exiting Classic Mode, beating the game of the Story, go to the main Sonic Origins game Select Screen, Switching different user accounts to play the game with which you need to close the game first, or closing the game on the Nintendo Switch Home Menu.), Mirror Mode, and Boss Rush Mode if you like. Thanks for showing how to play as other characters in Classic Mode, Sonic & Tails, Amy & Tails in Sonic 1 for any of the modes except Boss Rush. It’s really useful for anyone to play around with in the game.

I’ve tested this on Sonic 1. After playing too much of Anniversary Mode, I got surprised that Debug Mode works in Classic Mode.
Why doesn't it just give you the option to pick your player like the promo videos implied?

Is this different when you’re using the Nintendo Switch with Sonic Origins? I’ve scoured the internet and getting Super Sonic and Hyper Sonic have worked but I’ve tried getting Amy on all 3 games with nothing happening. Do the codes go to screen scroll through characters with no Amy showing up
