Beautiful house. Such a shame to tear it down but that’s the way it is. One of my good friends was a snow bird she finally bought a place down there all year. I still prefer all the seasons. 😀🤗
I used to prefer all the seasons as well. Then I moved down here and stopped slipping on ice, shoveling my driveway and sidewalk, spending 2 hours driving to work, freezing my butt off going anywhere, etc. Now I have a summer that's not usually much hotter than MI, but 70-75 all winter. The only thing I miss is the fall colors.
I like all the seasons too!! I am addicted to the sunshine.
@@1QKGLH I’m in western Pa. It’s not to bad here. I’m originally from Md. there’s been a couple of winters that were cold but most of them haven’t been bad.
70-75 is nice but it’s the 80’s and up that I can’t handle. We’re suppose to be in the 90’s + next week. Makes me want to go to Maine. 😂😂😂
More if on lake Michigan or lake Huron
Location, location, location, then its water, water, water the rarer the water the more the house will be worth.
Am I too poor to think it’s okay to spend that much money? It seems like stupid rich people waste.
That is why I am a scavenger, the stuff people waste we recycle, use it to make wealth.
Great video! Why not bring a grease pencil with you and mark what is to keep and/or what is to trash when doing your walkthrough? It might save your worker's time when doing their demo work.
Great idea! We usually bring blue tape to mark stuff.
It's a nice house. The new house will be even nicer.
That area is very very nice everything is so well taken care of!!
It amazes me how wasteful we are I have customers that can’t even afford siding to keep rats out.I could use a lot from these homes to fix a lot of homes here where people can’t afford anything.I will have to come down one day to buy some things from your store.
It amazes us as well, every day! Where are you from? Come on down. We are open seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. When you decide to visit, let the warehouse manager know that you saw us on UA-cam, and they will give you 10% off.
Don't you think selling a window that's from 1993 for $400 is a little pricey. I'm trying to get our company to use you to buy some things to remodel our manufactured homes and for anything else. But some of your prices are just extremely outrageous. I brought it up to my operations manager and I had her watch a couple of your videos to see some of the pricing. and she said the same thing , on some things, you are offering great deals but other things you are just highly priced. 😂 but love what u do..
Dave@removeitpros.com let's talk
I know which ones you were talking about and your right that is too high, sometimes I don't think things all the way through.
what's your thoughts on debt? id love your take on that! get in debt for a new dump truck etc... or just pay cash & get a clunker? (obviously speaking about newer business's that really need to manage cash flow) personally we have been following Dave Ramsey and going the debt free method!
I'm all with getting stuff and paying cash for it. But there comes the time where dave ramsey's theories don't work anymore. You can't scale a business without taking on debt. I followed his teaching for a long time. And I do my best to keep things as low as possible. And I'm not out spending what I make, but a lot of his theories. If you want to build wealth, they don't work.
@removeitprosdemolition Robert kiosaki rich dad poor dad. I have a whole bunch of vlogs that I put out on another channel. I talk to all the business stuff there. You can see it in my description
Hurricane windows are good for a couple of impacts then stuffs coming through. Shutters give an added layer of protection. I keep shutters even though I have hurricane wind rated windows for this reason.
The hurricane blew all of the seals on my hurricane windows I had 6 foot of water inside of my house. I watch to see if the windows had that kind of stress, if they did I leave them.
All of my 50+ year old windows made it through the hurricane. It was the "hurricane rated" windows I had which were damaged.
Just got 0.650 a pound for Aluminum 6063 extrusion in Paramount California, also birthplace of the Zamboni.
Its going up here, everything we scrap seems to be up.
Love your videos and no disrespect here but that house/neighborhood is not worth 7 million dollar’s. Real estate inflation is out of control.
That's out of my price range.I really don't know
My subzero from 2006 looks just like that one not 20 years old
I am frequently wrong, on that one I believe we seen the placard it said 2006 or whatever I said in the video.
It's a water heater, not hot water heater, unless your heating your already hot water? Sorry personal peave of mine, like your channel tho
I've heard it before. It's just the way it was said when I was growing up.
Well technically speaking, and depending on the time of year in FL my colder water is already hot coming into the house. you can take a shower with just cold water and still be hot!
5 million homes in Florida, 500,000 in Michigan
Location, location, location, right.
awesome stay safe was off today spent day stripping aluminum wire…..😮
We were using a Range Rover as a wrecking ball, for a video.
@@removeitprosdemolition can’t wait to see it’s very hot here i was stripping off cast aluminum…i’m trying to switch jobs to home goods…it’s right next to where i am now lol be well get in the beautiful water…. geez
Those kitchen cabinets are from Merillat all boxes the same fronts from builder grade to high end
Is that right?
you skipped over the sub zero refig
Did I, ouch. That was the best find :(
Look for the etching into the corner of the glass to see the impact information
Yes sir.
No matter what, impact will have etching only on the glass specifying that the glass is heat strengthened. It will not say anything about impact, that will be a label on the aluminum. It will tell the thickness of the glass depending on how it is glazed, door, window, residential, commercial. Most commercial glazing will be 1/4" HS so it will be marked 1/4 U HS or residential 3/16 U HS
Overall thickness of the glazing will be either 9/16 or 7/16
Tempered will also be marked 1/4 U temp or 3/16 U temp, and the company that tempered it, IE Oldcastle, etc
You can take a sharp pencil point and hold it against the glass and count how many pencil points you see. Every glass surface will produce a point reflection. Both types will have 4 surfaces, but insulated will have a greater space in the reflection between the #2 and #3 surfaces. A lighter or candle will also show multiple flames as well.
Also clear, grey ,bronze tempered looked at with polarized sunglasses will exhibit a mottled surface appearance
Like for example, the door glass he smashed was insulated not impact, and someone applied an interior window film to it. Two separate hits on two separate lites of glass, both tempered. Insulated is glass/airspace/glass and impact is glass polyvinyl/glass. Impact is nothing more than laminated on steroids, laminated is your car windshield with the glass not heat treated. Laminated or impact will make a thunk when lightly tapped on where insulated will not, it will make a tap tap. Very easy to identify.
Wow that was a whole class on glass!!!
Wow shame the house has to go
I am from Ohio and that why we showcase this It blows my mind everyday to see the money and what people with money do.
good vid
Thank you!!
Are the doors more valuable if there is a key for the lock?
Not really I think people want new locks for ease of use.
