Just as an FYI, there is 2 types of amazon flex schedules. RT is 30hours and over, they do get all the benefits that fulltime get to what I understood the only difference is the UPT and PTO and vacation hours stack up slower im also pretty sure I heard career choice is also available to RT employees as well.

If you have back problems it can be hard. I had to get an accommodation after getting written up cross working in pick. But now I only do 8 hour days. I use my ear buds every shift but I only wear one. I don't know about days but the people on nights don't care as long as you're doing what you're supposed to.
I’m loving the PT and RT flex scheduling. I just went back to my old warehouse … I was there two years ago as a FTimer and hated it. I’m in stow driving a PIT. It’s hard, BUT…. I work 3 days with a day off in between. A few older folks are only doing the 2 days/10hr/20hrs a week and they are loving it❤. It’s especially good for people who have other forms of income and just needed to bring in some extra cash 👍.
Ciara your Amazon videos have been so amazing. I’m like two hours away from my first day in training as a delivery station associate, and your vlogs have been super helpful to reassure myself as I wait in anticipation. Hopefully my coworkers and managers are good and I can handle the physical part of the job. Thank you!

Is it true that we work on all holidays besides Christmas but you get 8 hours of regular pay and time and a half for the 10 hour shift? I just looked it up and saw majority saying that.
If you are switching jobs, yes. I switched from pick to pack & they trained me for pack. Although I worked in pack before my training had expired so I had to do it again. But it was only for a day.
Can someone tell me, can you live in the UK with a monthly salary in a warehouse? Or is this like an additional job for those who, for example, still live with their parents so they don't have to pay for an apartment, bills, etc.?

I did it my first week. I’m not sure how seasonal work. I would check with your HR just to Kate sure. You can also look on the A-Z app under transfer opportunities to see you options.
Idk ideally I would like to do both. I would probably go with pick only because I feel the time goes by faster & I’m constantly moving so it’s like a workout for me.

I have been there for a month now thanku for all your help fr i just got switched to blue badge and i wanna know does pto still accrue daily(i got a 10 hour lump sum when converted this week but havent got any the days after) also i talked to someone on my hr chat and they said i wont get vacation got me fucked up when does vacation accrue bc ik ppl at my cite who have vacation and have taken it and are level one and we are both full time workers and the hr person said i have to be full time and its not given in my state but again i have seen people my level with it and use it and when i signed the papers to switch to blue badge it mentions vacation.

Havent been here long enough to experience how a paid holiday works. Will it reflect in a-z and take that day(holiday) out of my schedule for the week? Im just wondering because memorial day comes in about a month and I do not plan on going in if I have to.

@@loveandfaithJI used to work at a delivery station and my biggest advice is to pace yourself. If you try to get really high numbers every single shift you’ll just burn yourself out and the managers will be on your back if you don’t hit those really high numbers consistently. Also don’t stress yourself out, if you have a bad day take it slow and if the managers ask you what’s wrong just tell them you’re having a rough day and they usually understand as long as it’s not all the time.
I wore pants and a button up shirt but I was way overdressed. You can literally wear anything. I saw people with sweats, short shorts, jeans and a tee etc.🤷🏾♀️

Career choice is available for part time, sat and sun 10 hr shifts. You don’t get the full amount like full time does…only half

I would speak to another rep, manager or call the ERC because a lot of the HR at the sites don’t know what’s going on.

No but I am quick. As soon as the shifts drop I pick them so fast.

After training can we ask flexible timings? We need to ask hr.
You can submit a transfer in the A-Z app. In addition you can also talk to HR about it.

Flex RT gets benefits, PT don't get nothing lol. You'll have to switch to Flex RT and work 30 hrs a week mandatory
