- If you have old or dated countertops and are looking for a low-cost change, using an epoxy and paint kit is a great option! Epoxy is a very durable material, and is a much cheaper option than getting real marble or quartz counters. The Giani Epoxy Kit I used only costs $200, and can make a HUGE difference to the way your entire kitchen looks and feels. This whole project can be done in just a couple of days, with no experience needed. This really is one of the best budget transformations I've ever done!

You're welcome!
These countertops are a dreammmm
Gah such a difference! So impressed how upgraded this looks 🎉
Such a great transformation! Thank you for sharing!
The end result looks great; at first, I was doubting the durability, but with the epoxy at the end, I'm mostly convinced this is durable. When the opportunity arises, I'll definitely try this method. thanks for sharng.
I can confirm that it's been really durable for us. No cracks or dents, and spills clean up extremely easily. Thanks for watching!
My only concern would be if really hot dishes or pans touch it. Not sure if you've seen how it's reacted to that? 🙏🏻
I always use a potholder when putting hot pans onto the counter so I can't say for sure, but we have put hot coffee/tea cups directly onto the surface and it holds up just fine.
@@buildsbymaz sweet good to know, and thanks for the quick answer!
Incredible transformation!
Any yellowing so far?
None at all
@@buildsbymaz is it decently scratch resistant?
@@eleazarfernandez9369 Yes very much so. It's really durable.
