If you loose the transponder and you keep the spare key in the side pod and the spare transponder under the seat you're still buggered as without the bike turned on you can't get access to the spares...
This will only work if you just are close to home , leaving your ignition on will only drain your battery if the motor is off then you will be lock out either way. If your going on a long road trip bring the spare and wrapped with aluminum foil and store it in a safe accessible place that only you know in case you loose the other one.
I said that if while you were riding on the road or highway don’t off your engine you can continue riding even though the display indicate that no transponder .

Hi here in asia if you buy a gtr1400 we will get one key fob and a flat master key . You need the master key to programm the new key fob . If not you will have to buy the whole system . The key fob here cost abt usd220 include programming . But you need the master key to program
When I bought the bike my dealer give me 1 transponder & this key code thingy. Mine is a 2014 model .before my model the dealers give 2 sets or transponder but my model they only give one . When i lost my transponder the dealer show me this trick so i can bring my bike to them without using a lorry . Then they use the key code to recode my new transponder. If you don’t have the key code , you have to buy the whole immobiliser system
Thing is, you put yr sapare key in yr little glove box compartment, how are you going to get that out if you dont have yr ignition on to get yr spare key to open yr seat up to get yr extra transponder stupid ? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 So yeah pretty stupid advice !

If your transponder battery goes flat you can also place it at the front of the steering head to start the bike.

It come with the bike when i bought it.you need it to recode the new replacement transponder or the key fob .
