For me, and at the risk of paraphrasing Donald Rumsfeld, people can't know - what they don't know, that they don't know.
Ignorance is both bliss & dangerous.

    • @neildunford241
      @neildunford241 4 роки тому +3

@Bagster 1866 I think that real journalism, is in short supply. They've become an extension of a social media business model, and are invariably there to help shape opinion & drive revenue - rather than report on news.
That, hand in hand with how emotionally driven society has become - makes for an appalling environment.
Its far too easy to drum up outrage.
      Outrage equals clicks.
      Clicks equal revenue.
Repeated clicks on a source, becomes your echo chamber - then its back to the beginning again, with the addition that you now have a skewed narrative that you're "part" of a winning side.
I'm glad I'm old, cos being young today & having to navigate this shit show, whilst trying to find your place...not easy...

@Trent Michael His kingdom was not of this world, he invited in the poor, the downcast, women, Samaritan outcasts, Romans and the gentiles into that Kingdom ( expressing the innate value of all men.) He opened his ministry with the words blessed are the poor in spirit and ended it with Father forgive them, for they know not what they do. When soldiers came to take Christ prisoner by force, the disciple Peter attempted to defend him by the Sword. Christ rebuked him, " for those who live by the Sword will die by the Sword." Finally he was brutally mutilated and nailed to a Roman Crucifix. The spread of Scripture does not support your Messianic interpretation of a political warrior king of the archetype of David, who would smite the enemies of God. A popular Jewish interpretation of Messiah. The word itself means, anointed one, to Save his people. You are correct in this, there are many verses that refer to a battle and conflict between two Kingdoms directly opposed to each other. There would indeed be violent spiritual skirmishes. Christ made it very clear what the weapons of warfare would be for those engaged in this conflict. " Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Matt 5 verse 44.
Your Messianic interpretation is highly limited and ignores the spread of evidence, as cited above found in the New Testament. Indeed, it has been speculated that his rejection by the Jews was precisely because he did not live up to this expectation.
In conclusion, the spread of evidence supports Kurt's assertion, not your highly limited and relatively unsubstantiated view of Messiah. I would submit that it is your case that is lacking substantive evidence to support your claim.

"There's nothing we can do". This hit home. I live in Ireland, and I was abused by my father for 2 years, from age 8-10. When I told my mam, she went through everything she could to do what was right. At our local Garda station, she was told that there was nothing that could be done, unless I, a 10 year old child, wished to press charges. At that age, I thought "Oh, dad did something that I feel is bad and that everyone else is really angry and upset about... but he said sorry so it's ok now." I got a formal apology this year (20 years later) from a Garda and was told that the other garda was retired now. My father is now in prison. He got an 8 year sentence in June, and I'm told he'll probably do 5 years of that. I knew the sentence wouldn't be a scratch on the 20 years of mental prison that I am in the process of enduring, so I waived my anonymity to get his name out there. He spread lies and misinformation about my family, and counted on my silence due to my shame. Now his name is out there. Now people who thought he was great can see him for the monster he really is. Now I, my family, and the souls of the puppies he murdered can feel some sense of justice.

Christ, this interview is just harrowing and it should be compulsory listening / watching. Our Prime Minister should be on his knees apologising to Dr Hill, and all the other grooming gang victims / survivors, in person, on behalf of the British people and the Authorities. The fact that the police records of these hideous crimes were conveniently lost, and it can't be pinned on anyone, should require the Chief Constable to be sacked and prosecuted. Arguably, the respective Home Secretaries should also face prosecution. If the entire Met Police can be demonised and flagellated after the murder of Stephen Lawrence, and the blasé unwillingness of some police officers to bring his murderers to justice, then a number of police forces should face equivalent or worse, for allowing and enabling hundreds of thousands of British girls and women to be thrown to the wolves. The fact that Antifa are attacking Dr Hill and other genuine victims tells you all you need to know about them.

What i think is important that we recognise that either this is part of an Agenda that is being implemented to demoralise and damage us in such a way we can no longer function as healthy society or we have simply been subjected to successive catalogues of incompetence, misconduct and utter stupidity that it was enough to completely destroy trust and accountability for ever ...what ever way you spin this, there is no turning back and no escaping the brutal reality that the State has Failed in perhaps the most core and fundamental tenet of its rationale to exist, to protect us from Violence and provide a secure space where it cannot have free reign, this is a priori even to security of property, for without security and protection from Violence there is no space for Property to be realised, that the State right up to PM level endorsed the Violence of one group (of recent immigration) against a more indigenous group (here thousands of years, and thus with higher claim) because they thought it expedient - shows you that the duty of allegiance is not only broken it never existed, we owe these people who have seized power no Allegiance or Subjection in the same way they have shown us no duty or reciprocal respect, they no longer govern with a valid mandate .... and so, and this is bitter pill to swallow .... all options are on the table at this point, we have far more to lose doing nothing than we do by doing something to set things right.

Boris was never a racist nor did he believe that the UK was a racist nation. The fact that they GOT TO HIM is clear evidence that he, his office, his government, and the Conservative Party have all bowed down to the mob and to those who adore the religion of "Victimhood". The whole idea that non whites can never be racist is a lie. Many young men from Asian/Arab backgrounds view white women as sex objects. This is a cultural issue (not a religious one). These pathetic men literally think they are getting payback for Western colonialism by having sex with Western women. Groomers should be given the strictest punishments. One afternoon in 2018 during a visit to Oxford, I sat inside the Starbucks on Cornmarket near a scruffy looking middle aged south asian man who was there with a teenage white girl. She was blonde, well dressed, and was staring intently at her iPhone. He was unkempt, with messy, oily hair and a beard. He had purchased 2 grande frappuccinos. She drank from hers, without conversing with him or making eye contact. Every so often, he traded their drinks and took sips from hers, using the same straw. I've tutored teenagers for years, so their rapport and her body language raised a red flag with me.
I'm ashamed to say that I did nothing about it (what would I?). I wondered, "am I a bigot? Is my suspicion reasonable?" I knew a grooming gang existed in Oxford. Was I allowing that knowledge to unduly influence my judgment?
I had recently attended Sargon's Day of Freedom Rally and had heard reports of Americans who had attended being detained and interrogated for hours at the border (I'm Canadian). That was reason #1 not to speak to police. Besides, I told myself, the police have known about the gangs for decades, so reporting to them my mild and ill-evidenced suspicion would achieve nothing; I didn't even know the identities of the man or the girl.
It was hopeless and upsetting and I've never forgotten it, or him, or her.
