    I am sorry to ask if you said it. I watched 19 minutes but did not see the answer. so WHERE do you save this? When you click "WRITE" in the upper right hand corner...you have only one place to save your favorite tones, the "CUSTOM" button on amp panel? So, only room for ONE clean preset and ONE lead preset?

      No, you have a lot of empty banks on the left.

Abraços do Brasil!

      Boas, armazena até 8. Mas ao serem usados sem conexão ficas limitado. Não sei ao certo agora porque não tenho cá o GAFC. Sim, podes mudar a válvula no mesmo preset sem computador. Mas eu vou fazer um tutorial em breve do Nextone e o GAFC controlador. Está atento :) Abraço

      @@JucaNeryGuitar Obrigado pelos esclarecimentos! Também comprei um GA-FC (chega em cerca de 10 dias). E, sim, estarei atento a esse teu tutorial. Abraços! P.S.: Encontrei um bom manual do Nextone Editor em Inglês, da própria Roland. Havendo interesse, segue o link (link absolutamente seguro, esteja certo): static.roland.com/assets/media/pdf/Nextone_editor_eng02_W.pdf

    What is the purpose of the "Liveset" function? My understanding is that you can only save a clean tone and a lead tone in the amp itself? So what is the function of Liveset on the amp? Or is it only something for the software library?

    • @JucaNeryGuitar
      @JucaNeryGuitar  3 роки тому

      A liveset is a TLS file with many different patches. It's just for the software library.

    Nice detail on this demo. Do you find you use the nextone or the Katana more for live use. Im considering the katana artist, or the Nextone artist for live use.

      It depends on the mood! lol They are both great. I would take the Katana more if I had a Metal band. Cheers

    Hello , is it possible to get the 6v6 sound , or something close enough on the Katana?And is the huge price difference between the Katana and the Nextone justified?Thanks

    • @JucaNeryGuitar
      @JucaNeryGuitar  5 років тому

      Yes it's possible. The Nextone sounds closer to vintage tube amps. Cheers

    Can I use my m1 MacBook Air with the nextone? Thank you

    Hey dude, nextone editor does have High again distortion for Metal Tones and a good clean?
    What I need to have to connect this Amp to the program? A wire that is connected to the program so I can modified the tones or, I need something else?
    Thanks

    • @JucaNeryGuitar
      @JucaNeryGuitar  4 роки тому +1

      Yes it does but the amp is better for clean and crunch tones. More vintage sounding. You need a regular USB (printer type) cable to connect the amp to the pc/Mac. Cheers

    Hello Juca. Very interesting and helpful video. Do you plan to do a similar one with the lead channel which appears to be more difficult to manage. I myself encounter difficulties with fizzy sound when I plug my LesPaul into the EL34 mode power amp at medium to higher gains (boost on in non custom mode). It is like some unwanted frequencies happen in the background which is annoying. Only ways I found is to play with channel and master volume and cut lots of frequencies on the eq but then the sound is boxy and dull. Any insight regarding that topic? Thanks for the time you take to make these.

      Hi, yes! More to come. I don’t have that fizzy tone. But I always go into the software to cut some highs in Sag, parametric eq, etc. And then I have to compensate somewhere. Unfortunately for now we can’t share our patches. Stay tuned. Cheers

      @@JucaNeryGuitar Thanks a lot for the super fast answer. Yes I guess I have also to go in the software and maybe cut some highs in the overall amp parameters. But I find that this amp is very guitar dependant. I have to find the best of both worlds or always have my computer around.
