Nah dmc is way more niche and they're definitely aware of that dmc5 still sold crazy well especially for a dmc game.

If one thing is certain, it's that the wait for DD3 is going to be so long even a Devil May Cry.
DMC6 surely, I mean DMC5 is like 5 years old now and we’d probably have to wait another 2-3 years from now for that.

@@ArjunB5 You’re saying RDR2 is a better game despite its gameplay- the thing that makes a game… a game. Makes it pretty weird to say it’s the better game. Good movie, sure. Why aren’t all these games with terrible gameplay a tv show or movie? Why are we asked to spend 60-70 dollars on what is effectively an interactive movie? Going to a movie theater is the most expensive way to see a movie, and yet it is significantly less expensive than playing a boring movie game.

I personally don't think Itsuno should be the only one directing dmc games. Sure, he proved he's the best at it, but I'm sure there are people who worked on previous dmc games that would do amazing as directors too, so that capcom could make dmc while also making other games
as long as its not people who would completely misunderstand what we love so much about the characters like in dmc2 or DmC. An important part of the appeal of dmc imo is just how awesome the characters are

If the New Anime succeed like Netflix Castlevania, Capcom might give more focus to DMC, we might get a Devil may Cry 3 remake.

@@diet-jay2159 both are completely different genre and cannot be compared. However, DMC5 is much more refined and fine tuned as a product overall, DD2 is undoubtedly rushed and lacking in many departments.

@@diet-jay2159I mean a lot of DD2’s success is bc of the fact that 2024 is a barren desert when it comes to triple A gaming. 2019 had so many amazing games and was following 2018 which was one of the best years in gaming ever.

This is actually pretty bad news, when a rushed project like DD2 outsells a game like DMC5 by orders of magnitude, it definitely makes it less likely that the publisher will invest in more DMC anytime soon.
We need a DMC3 remaster with better quality!!!
