I've just got the same kit. However, I had to add the battery adjustment bracket due to the position of the bottle holder bolts on my bike. Also, I had to order the magnetic brake sensor accessory as my brake and gear change are integrated. Total price comes out at £400 which is still a competitive. BTW the main kit arrived within 48hours. However, the adjustment bracket and brake sensors are coming from China and may take up to 30 days to arrive!
think I will need to get the bracket too. the fit is looking very tight. currently £17 on their website. to others : its worth checking out the yose power website.
I bought exactly the same kit as yours and have fitted it to a new lightweight folding bike last month (January). I did not fit the thumb throttle, light and brake levers. The bike has 6 low ratio derailleur gears. All working as expected but not ridden yet. Bought pacifically to ride off road on trails in my area. The thumb throttle will only give you 6kph (3.75mph) walking speed. It allows you to walk beside the bike and have motor assistance. Some use it on a MTB accessing a steep hill where you have to get off and walk beside it. Not legal as you say on UK road use because you can override the output speed.
It is legal to have a throttle that does walking speed in the uk, where it is handy is for moving away from a dead stop at lights and such. Just press and you get a little boost. But really you are better going with the 350 watt motor, technically it’s illegal but they both look the exact same that the police are never going to stop you and you do notice the extra power.
