@@georgederuiter1412 No one is ordering you around. You're free to choose eternity outside the presence of your Creator, as many have done in the past.
Edit: You must be mistaking us for Muslims who are slaves to their deity. We Christians are sons of our God, regardless that some members have desired to be His servants.

@@alisterrebelo9013 Doubtless many Christians fall short of Christ Jesus' commandment - that we love one another, just as he has loved us. Those same lips also said "keep your sword in its scabbard". Again, Jesus said; "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God" (but really the entirety of the Beatitudes applies)
Many Christians are not found adhering to those words. Indeed, the normality of so-called Christianity is found so separate from those teachings.
George here, with no offense to them, seems to have a case of judging the faith by its adherents and not its teaching and fundamentals. Unfortunately common, and it's not just towards Christianity - we're not the only ones being hastily judged; indeed many Christians hastily judge so, and we ought not be found committing the same offense.

One of my favorite Christmas songs of all time. The first time I heard the song was when I was a child and carolers from the church came to the house the day before Christmas Eve. This song was actually featured in a book that was part of a series I read through high school. It was the late Gordon R. Dickson's series 'The Dragon and the George' and the book was the fourth in the series 'The Dragon, The Earl, and The Troll' which took place during a Christmas setting.

All versions of this I ever heard before were slower. They were often ponderous or breathy children's choir arrangements, and always so self-important.
This approach has such a vigourous and joyful sound! I can loudly sing it unaccompanied without feeling bashful because it inspires such happiness to do so. Especially the second and third stanza.

Genuinely if everyone lived as Christ commanded we’d live in a society of heroes filled to bursting with chivalric virtue. A society that took Rome’s obsession with excellence, then tempers it with mercy and duty before God to produce something truly beautiful. I miss Christendom, so much. It was great once and God willing it will be great one last time before the end of all things.

A beautiful rendition of a beautiful carol! I know your fame comes from Tolkien’s work, but I greatly enjoy your Christian content. Thank you for posting this. A very blessed Advent to you!

Beautiful rendition! I don't think I've ever heard all the lyrics before. Certainly not in an official recording. I love the use of different voices for each character!😍😍
