Chalk Painted French Provincial Desk

In this video, I'll feature a Chalk Painted French Provincial Desk. When I purchased this French Provincial desk it needed a little TLC. Especially a missing section of trim on the back of the desk. I repaired that using a piece of Wood-U-Bend molding that I sanded and filled. I sanded the top so it was fresh and smooth. For the color palette, I knew it needed to be classy and simple. French Linen color Chalk Mineral paint was the perfect base. Blending in highlights with Sand Bar, then some lovely vignettes of Mud Putty to help the depth of the desk stand out even more. The details needed Gold Gilding Wax to take it over the top. This French Provincial desk is a classy eye-catching piece I hope you agree.

I think color harmony, color theory type info helps. For this project, the colors all were "analogous" and that helped keep them unified.
