Light bulb extensions - I'd bet that previously installed halogen bulbs were overheating the recessed fixtures, tripping their thermal switches. Moving them out of the fixtures lowered the temperature. Likely no longer necessary with those LED bulbs, of course.

If you going to use it as a gallery (the wall) you will want it to remain white. Putting a color will take away from any art that is on there. If you have to rewire I would make sure you have a closet that is wired for (outlets) for charging or plugging in vacuum etc for the store. Also make sure you give yourself plenty of outlets for coffee machine (if not you your guest in the store) computers, printers and other equipment.

A glass door is useless ,for protection.
That is why I keep a gun! Also I am one block from the police station!
Keep the white cieling. Add medium grey to some of the walls. Add some teal from your logo for a pop of color. Incorporate your logo colors in your store.
