Anna you are an inspiration! A lot of people talk with their hands and have trouble breathing when gardening 👩🏾🌾 Please try to ignore the critical viewers that have so much to complain about regarding your videos. I wanted to let you know I found your vlogs this past week and I enjoy them all! Happy gardening friend 🫶🏾🌺🌷
Your garden design is beautiful. I can't wait to see it in full bloom❤. Job well done. Still working on mine, I had to take a break because when you are going solo, it can be exhausting. You have inspired me to get back to it. Thanks for sharing❤
I just love you and Ernie. In my eyes, you both can do no wrong.❤❤ I love your channel and I respect you as a viewer. I know it’s hard having a UA-cam channel and people think you can be thick skinned and ignore the critics. I’m not one of those people 😅I’d have to block them.. God bless you Anna and have a great day. Love from me and Otis, Massachusetts. By the way, I am 100% Italian. I talk with my hands all the time and I love it when you do.
Oh Anna, You are one hard working lady and your garden is going to be beautiful. I can’t wait to see everything this summer when it is in bloom. Looking forward to more gardening. 😊❤😊🪴🌼🌸🌱
Well I’m 60 with a lot of arthritis. You are getting more than I can do. I fertilize my little garden bed and I’m done. My husband has to do all the planting. Great job.
Don't worry about your heavy breathing, you are getting good exercise...bending, kneeling, crunches, walking all good ! And enjoying the beauty of your garden and being creative. Good for the mind ! People need to realize the Mic picks up everything !
FYI Anna, In my experience with the lambs ear and Columbine, I literally don’t touch it and it reseeds/spreads like crazy. I have found lambs ear growing in my neighbors garden and they didn’t plant it. Also deer won’t eat it, but they love to bed down in it.😂. Also one of my absolute favorites is peony! They r very English garden looking Along with English lavender ❤️. Love that combo!
Hi Anna, I loved hearing the wind chimes in the back ground. It is so musical and relaxing to me. I hope they are to you too. The garden is going to be magical. Honestly you are going to be the envy of your neighborhood. Love!Love!Love!
Hi Anna! Absolutely love your garden - just know that when it grows in it will be a dream! Your hands, background noise don't bother me. It's weird people mention those things. Love all of your videos and I think that they are rich in quality and content. ❤
Out of breath? I know what you mean, After sitting most of the winter and not being able to get out much due to bad weather. We will get back in shape when the weather gets better. Can't wait!!
Hi Anna, Just found you today and find your enthusiasm so refreshing! You remind me of myself forty years ago when my energy was at that level, and I would still be digging, edging and weeding until it was dark, and I would have to give up and call it a day! I’d be right back at it in the early morning and loved every minute of it!! I’m still gardening, but at a much slower pace.🤭😉 Thank you for sharing your beautiful gardens with us. Being from the northeast, I have another month or so before I can start planting, but thank you for the inspiration! A fellow gardening friend, Jackie🪷
Try sprinkling red pepper flakes around your violas, pansies, and sunpatiens. You may not have any more problems with bunnies and squirrels!! I’ve used it for years. I even have put the in outdoor front door wreaths to prevent birds from nesting there.
Hey Friend, Happy Tuesday. I’m sorry that you’re dealing with allergies, I have been dealing with my allergies for a couple of weeks now. 😢 I always enjoy seeing the progress of your garden from all of your hard work that you put into It last year. ❤ whenever I watch UA-cam videos especially yours I feel less depression and anxiety which is hard to get me out of. Tomorrow is going to be a hard day for me so I know I’m going to check out UA-cam videos to help take my mind off it after work.❤ You don’t have to explain why you do things in your garden but you do and I love hearing your reasoning for everything. ❤🥰🦋

Hi Anna, I found your channel today as it’s my day off and I think I have binge watched a dozen thus far. I think you are great, I admire you and will keep watching.
Loved all the plants you planted today Anna. I agree with you…organic matter is better than bark so it’s a big job but you got it all raked out. It’s still chilly here in Indiana by Lake Michigan where I am living. I love your ultimate garden pic it’s beautiful. You’ll get it all done and the gardens will be amazing. Thank you for sharing your gardening with us I get lots of inspiration from you…❤️
Spring is just starting here. Been taking one section at a time and weeding, fertilizing and adding compost. Got out today to grab pansies and violas. Looks great, Anna! Were all breathing a little heavy after being cooped up all winter. 😅
Hi Anna, New subscriber here. Your home and yard are beautiful! You have been hard at work creating yoru paradise, haven't you! It's all very lovely. Have a wonderful day!
Your garden is looking great! I really enjoy seeing all the plants you pick out, you have a good eye for placement. Ernie needs to buy you one of those little augers that you attach on your drill, to make it easier on you. PS I talk with my hands too! 😊 Happy planting!
Hi Anna. I’m just now getting caught up with your videos. I love these with your garden. They’re gonna be so gorgeous. I’ve been in the hospital twice within the last couple of weeks. First of all I woke up one day extremely sick and vomiting and severe pain in my back. I called my doctor he told me to go to the ER they found I had a large kidney stone that had blocked everything and was causing infection in my kidneys. They put me in an ambulance and sent me about 60 miles north to Houston where there is a great medical complex. I had surgery where they put a stent in to bypass that stone and allow the infection to clear up before they go in and remove the stent and the stone. I came home from the hospital but then in about two days I was not able to breathe and my daughter who was staying here with me took me to the emergency room and they found that I had fluid on my lungs and heart and so they put me back in the hospital here locally. anyway I’ll have the second surgery soon but I’m enjoying watching your videos now. I think you do a great job. love in christ
Roses would look great where the grasses are and the side you pointe out. Have you thought to combine those two back beds? It may be easier to manage the grass with it combined.
I am a beginner at this and so glad to find your channel! I had no idea clay was good…that’s all we have in south Texas and I hate it! Any beginner gardening tips are appreciated!
I kind of picked up on your excitement about spring/gardening. 😊 I remember how hard you and Ernie worked last year putting those beds in. I can’t get over how green your grass looks. The front of my house has rock and edging and I’m tired of the edging and I wonder if I could dig a trench like you guys did, And still keep the rock there. I don’t plan on removing the rock because there’s lots of it. Keep up the good work, dear.❤❤❤
Your gardens are coming along nicely, looking forward to seeing more! Hubby & I spent this past weekend cleaning up our gardens, It was such a beautiful weekend to be outdoors. I told my husband lets get these flower beds finished before the cicadas emerge👀 I don’t want any bugs jumping on me LOL!😳😫
The garden is looking great! I love the bright green sedum you planted. I'll have to keep an eye out for that. The Proven Winners, Vista -tuna Pink Bubblegum is one of my favorites. That should do very well in your garden.
We like you are empty nesters and also moved in 2022, us from Nevada to TN best move ever. Trying to garden albeit it has been quite the challenge as we have hills in backyard and a slope in the front yard...even though it's challenging, we're getting there, slowly, VERY slowly, no spring chickens here 😅 enjoying your journey
Superthrive is a blend of vitamins and hormones used in addition to fertilizer. It isn't itself a fertilizer. One of its benefits is to enhance root growth which does help sick plants. Thanks for working so hard to show what's possible.
I think you will have a full garden Anna. Please check, I believe that sedum, lambs ear, and possibly columbines do not like to be fertilized. You can check for sure others that don’t like fertilizer…. Happy Gardening Cathy
Looks so beautiful Anna, love the grasses! You are on a roll girl, great job.We just fertilized our lawn today but not able to plant flowers yet. Thanks for sharing ❤Barb
Wow, I can't wait to see your flowers when they are all bloomed out, it's going to be beautiful!! I think we have the same tastes in flowers, that picture you showed of the arbor and all of the pink flowers, YES, so pretty! I love cottage gardens. I was going to mention that grass you put in and then I saw you put on the bottom of the screen that you removed them. I had ornamental grasses and that was a mistake, I never knew that they would die in the middle and keep spreading out, I found that out when I went on a garden walk and was talking to the owner of this one garden, she told me you have to keep dividing them all the time or they will do that, I have got rid of most of my grasses🙁 I planted a butterfly bush last fall and I don't know if it is going to make it or not, this spring has been crazy up and down temps has hurt it I think, I'm going to get that (I can't think of the name of it stuff that you got at Lowe's) and try it, will look at your video again and write the name down!! Thank you for sharing that! Happy Gardening❤
I will be sharing in the next video how you can enjoy the ornamental grass in your garden without worry! 😀 I love the cottage feel as well! Wait until you see what I've got coming!
Love your inspiration picture for your garden! I have several similar ones pinned. I weeded for 6 hours in my garden yesterday. Lots of clean-up work after getting our house painted last fall. Also, starting over in some areas.
It's going to look beautiful!! A few tips, don't fertilize the sedum they hate it and very drought tolerant, butterfly bush should come back but if you get another heavy frost cover it. I had one last year with the polar vortex and it came back fine. Please let me know how the Superthrive works I have some but usually only use it on my houseplants.
Hi Anna it's really coming along looking very beautiful! Thanks for the tip on the Thrive I will have to look for that. The arbor will really top it off.
Great job Anna! Keep an eye on your Columbine, mine thrive in the shade and today I’m transplanting the babies, which I get lots of every spring. Something to look forward to!
I'm in Zone 4B, and our nurseries are not even open yet. Not till the end of April, and still then we cannot plant as we could have a freeze. I have Vitiligo, unfortunately, which means All my skin pigmentation is gone, whiter than white. So sun is deadly for me. I wear big floppy hats and even in the hottest days I have to have long sleeves.😒😒Just subscribed! I have 8 lg. flower gardens on our 80 acres here in WI. I'm not young and it's a look of work, but, I enjoy my gardens so much. I was so happy last yr. I had tons of volunteers pansies growing everywhere and portulacas, also. None of these were planted in the ground. They showed up everywhere, so I hope they come back. I'm new to gardening. THKS for the inspiration!
Oh, Estellea ! I am so happy you are able to find a way to spend outside with your condition! I bet your gardens are beautiful even in their natural state! That's a lot of acres! It's fun but overwhelming in sure! I'm new to gardening in the south. Definitely a learning curve!!
Everything is looking great Anna, love your inspirational idea, it’s going to be so peaceful to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or at night as you guys are relaxing in the evenings from your day! 💜🩷💜 Maryann
I have yet to start cleaning out our flower bed. Be careful with the lambs ear. It is invasive. I had some and got rid of it. I plan on putting in a lot of hosta in order to control the weeds. I have all peranuals but this year I plan on incorporating red geraniums for color. I enjoy watching you plant your flowers. I hope that they do well for you.
Hey Anna, great garden video I need to try that thrive product. My Pentas are struggling. I fed them like you suggested and they are doing better but still not thriving. Love butterfly bush!! I didn't realize they could go to zone 10. Your garden was already lovely and I can't wait to see how it takes shape this year!
Just came across your blogs and I am binge watching them. Love all the gardening you have done. It all looks so nice and I can’t wait to see more. Oh by the way I did subscribe. Happy gardening friend.
Hello, It's looking really good. Love that pedestal planter, may I ask where you purchased it? Can't wait to check back later to see the plants grow in :)
I love your gardens. I live in the Atlanta area, and cut back butterfly bushes to about one foot or so. I have learned certain brands of them do better than others. The P&W brand, a favorite. Looking forward to next video!
These are both proven winners I believe. The first one struggled since I planted it. I'm not sure why. But I'm going to give it everything I've got to help it thrive! ☺️ any tips are appreciated!
Love your videos , good to see the realistic day to day , can relate , making a new garden at the moment , we are in the middle of autumn at the moment ( NSW ,Australia ) not so super hot for the digging part so i am making use of the cooler temperatures for the out of shape reason
Love your channel and all the wonderful content but May I suggest that you list the plants in the description box for us to reference later? Thank you Ms. Ana ❤️
Really enjoy your gardening videos! Yeah, I get winded too when I work in my garden, lol! I was curious what zone you were in? I’m in zone six so it’s gonna be a while before I can plant but your inspiration is really awesome and I am taking notes.😊
Thank you all for hanging out with me today! I hope today's video gives you a ton of garden inspiration!❤

Hi Anna. Your landscaping looks great! Pls reconsider the area around the hvac unit. You need more space for airflow. Plants too close reduce airflow, making units work harder, wearing them out faster. Sky pencil hollies are great for adding height, but not much width. Otherwise, very beautiful!

Isn't it wonderful that you can use that super thrive even on lawns?! Thank you for all your tips! So appreciated!
Good luck with your garden beds. Everything looks beautiful
Thank you, Donna! ❤️
Hi Anna it's really coming along looking very beautiful! Thanks for the tip on the Thrive I will have to look for that. The arbor will really top it off.
Yes ma'am! Installing the arbor in a upcoming video!
The edging on the daylilies are nice ❤
Yes. Hopping to continue that on entire property eventually!
Love watching you garden. It looks so pretty.
Thank you, Debbie! ❤️
Great job Anna! Keep an eye on your Columbine, mine thrive in the shade and today I’m transplanting the babies, which I get lots of every spring. Something to look forward to!
Exciting!
💜🩷💜 Maryann
Yes! Looking forward to that, Maryann! Wait till you see what I've got up my sleeve! ☺️🙃

Looks very nice..hooe to see it in full bloom..
Absolutely! I will do updates!
Absolutely beautiful!!!❤
Thank you!
Geraniums are on my list to add, and I'm looking for a sun loving hosta! I'm not even close to being done this year haha!
Thank you, Jen. So far so good with the thrive. I think as we continue to warn up and a couple more doses it'll be great!
Beautiful gardens! I love the curves. You are doing great!
Thank you so much, Donna! 💛
Really enjoying your gardening series!!!
Thank you!
Just came across your blogs and I am binge watching them. Love all the gardening you have done. It all looks so nice and I can’t wait to see more. Oh by the way I did subscribe. Happy gardening friend.
Thank you so much, Terri! Also, welcome! 🩷
Hello, It's looking really good. Love that pedestal planter, may I ask where you purchased it? Can't wait to check back later to see the plants grow in :)
Hey, Sharron! I actually purchased the base at a local vintage shop, and the planter is from a local discount store. 💗
Going to be beautiful
I think so! Thank you!
I enjoy your videos…you keep it real😊
Thank you so much, Susan! 💛
Everything looks lovely
Thank you!
I subscribed. Funny like hand.
Thank you!
Hi Anna I always enjoy your videos. Have an amazing day.

I learned something from you about a no dig planting, I’m very excited 😊
That makes me very happy! I will continue to share these types of gardens in different areas as well! Also keeping you all updated!

Hey, Elisa! I'm so happy you are here. I am in zone 7B. Middle Tennessee. ☺️ I'm glad I am inspiring you!
