I love these films my wife says there stupid as i sit there laughing time after time knowing whats coming next reminds me of better and happier days in a nicer world
The Carry On's are a comedy snapshot of British society at the time. Attitudes have changed & unfortunately these films are an easy target for lazy social historians & the PC brigade..
There will always be the critics eh, no matter who. I remember TV 📺 showin the Carry Ons back to back with Elvis movies...Carry On is far, far more entertainin with their plots, charcters,, a few favorite was Carry On Up the Kyber and Carry On Henry
It's sad knowing a lot of them actors & actresses have gone now RIP to all. great memories they left us..😉 the great Leslie Phillips "ding dong"...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely no way these movies would be made today. Carry on was just brilliant.
Nothing can beat the films such as the

comedy was comedy unfortunately
gone now as are most of the actors
and actresses, they knew how to make
people laugh.RIP.💔

All absolute legends. Kenneth Cope was brilliant in ‘Carry on at your convenience’ , what a great comic actor he is. Look at Anita Harris !! What is she on?? I need some whatever it is. Valerie Leon and Shirley Eaton still look great as well.
They were all heroes on the day. It was very cold.
Not many of the gang left now , Sid , Kenny, Hattie, Joan and the all the others are now in that big film studio in the sky,,,
Carry On Pearly Gates with almost all of the regulars
At least three of them have since died.
Kenneth Cope is still hanging on with us down here,as of the start of 2024

Took me a few minutes but I realise now that must be Jacki Piper interviewed at the very end there… Going on location to Brighton was what did it and she was in Carry On At Your Convenience back in 1971… My favourite one☺️🥰
That one flopped at the box office but it’s the best in my opinion

They are all legend to make people laugh. The today artis are only money collecting and they cannot make people laugh. Rest in peace for those who dead and more long life fir those still alive. Love you all.

Blimmey I've watched every Carry On movie 🎥 more than 100 times 😂😂😂😂 the sheer talent ever actor gave us THANK YOU FOR MAKING US LAUGH 😂😂😂😂 sadly this should have been done decades before so many have already passed away 🙏🕯️ SID JAMES and JOAN SIMS MY FAVOURITES lovely to see FRANK THORNTON i wish I could have met him great video not long enough Cheers Stephen 🤠✌️

Angela Douglas and Jim Dale are also still amongs us. So is Julian Holloway, all 3 of them played in Khyber and Follow that Camel
Angela was advised not to attend by a malicious fan. She bitterly regretted not celebrating 50 years of the franchise.
How many in this video are still alive? I think Jim Dale and Angela Douglas are the only surviving lead actors of the series left
We need a new series of carry ons with a cast of young comedians. Carry on up the death star could be a parody of Star Wars with a campy darth vader chanelling charles hawtry, and carry on trekking could have a randy starfleet captain played by a sid james type

Camel was filmed at Camber Sands. Khyber was North Wales

@@mediacityavid My brother was ( sort of ) an actor and did some kind of low budget film about a guy who has been shot hi-jacking a black cab by and c Kenneth Cope was the driver, he said he was great.
Also well known for Randall and Hopkirk Deceased.
@@mediacityavid He's been in so many things over so many decades (including being a soap regular), I can only assume that he gels well with any cast he's dropped into. Certainly fitted in well for his two Carry Ons. Thanks for uploading this.

It was a cold day
I love the carry on series but wasn’t much of a fan of the early stuff, I think they found more of a groove after the first 4-5 films which suited the film series. I know that many want agree with that but i guess it is what it is .
They were underpaid and under appreciated
Actually they were well paid. However, the repeated films never generated an income for the artists.
Didn’t see Jim Dale
Jim couldn't travel from the US due to work commitments. He sent an audio message that was played to the guests
