I thought it was actually Charles Hawtrey playing C3PO for real not Anthony Daniels because it does sound like him anyway 😂 thats what he was doing instead of the Carry Ons because he was dropped from the Carry Ons after Carry On Abroad as was becoming very difficult and drinking a lot so they thought cast him as C3PO no one will be able to tell if he is pissed in that costume 🤣🤣

Regarding Carry On, I try to watch the entire series about 3 or 4 times a year! I grew up with Carry On in the 60s and 70s and I think its quintessential viewing, especially if one is British. My son has started watching it (he loves it!) and now he understands where my sense of humour comes from!

Those are the ones I’ve watched the most (I’ve seen Abroad and Camping over 150 times each!) Its hard to pick my top number 1 as I found them all equally great.

And I've been in the house where they filmed outside Bide-A-Wee , it's a college now. When living in Oxfordshire, I'd go location hunting round near Pinewood studios but never been in. Others Camping little bits filmed in Maidenhead , Carry On Behind ( Town Hall ) Maidenhead appeared again. Carry On Dick & Carry on Loving the dating agency. Abroad is class and Cleo magnificent.
When I watched my first Carry On film I was 14. By the time I was 16 I have watched every Carry On Film in the series. Now I'm 28 and I still watch all of the films/series. They are still funny. Definitely should come up with more of these videos. 😂😂

Honestly, when I first saw Star Wars back in 1982, I thought that C3PO was based on Charles Hawtrey's physical comedy with a Kenneth Williams Carry On script!
What a supreme example of imagination. Williams, as Vader; and Howard as Yoda are hysterical. To hear Howard's world-weary suburban despair, emanating from a super-intelligent galatic being, shows that the despair of coming from Central Croydon is so strong that you still sound that miserable after you've retrained to become leader of the Force, and moved to the other side of the universe.
So many memorable moments from two great .sets of films. Others have commented on many. Han Solo being lowered into carbonite and Chewbacca in Bernard Bresslaw's Cockney-accented voice saying simply "Oh no" brought a big smile to my face.
As a man born in the 60s this was part of my childhood , we used try an imitate Sid James laugh never could even now , this was very wrll put together , ad i was listening i was remembering which Carry onfilm and in most cases the exact scene.
I like how you’ve got Peter Gilmore as Peter Cushing playing Grand Moff Tarkin. All the others are well done too. Particularly like the skit from Carry On Again Doctor..... Peter Butterworth as Obi Wan Kenobi. Jim Dale as Luke Skywalker is a good choice of casting too. Frankie Howerd as Yoda..... Brilliant. They’re all fantastic choices I think. Just wish we could’ve gotten more of Bernard Breslaw as Chewbacca
