- Hey Momo’s I’m so excited to share the birth announcement of Luca Grace Olliges with you all! Our birth vlog will be coming in a little bit. But we are still taking some time to process everything that went on. As you might know, things did NOT go according to plan. And honestly it was pretty traumatic. But praise God, we’re all alive and healthy! 💜 love you all soooo much!

So sorry that your birth was not as planned, but I bet it was still beautiful, because you had your baby boy in your arms at the end. take as much time as you need we understand. Praise God that you and baby Luca are safe that's what matters. Love you all
l was concerned the pain may have been more than you expected, since this was your first child and considered you might have gone to the hospital. l am So Happy you all are doing well. He is BEAUTIFUL and ADORABLE. GOD BLESS P&M and Lil Luca.

Congrats!! Morgan please know that NO MATTER the circumstances of Lucas birth, you just did something absolutely amazing. You are strong and capable and I pray for your healing as you process. Feel free to ignore this suggestion, but I just wanted to suggest Mrs. Midwests birth story video entitled “I gave birth twice in 2021”. She is a Christian woman like you that had similar natural, limited intervention plans. Her birth ended up being traumatic and highly medicalized but I just really wanted to mention it because I thought maybe her story could make you feel seen, feel less alone, and feel heard. Please both of you know you aren’t alone and know how proud and happy everyone is for you!!

For what it's worth I totally understand the birth not going as planned. I went two weeks overdue (past week 42) and wanted a natural birth only to have to be induced and labor for 25 hours.
Ya girl got an epidural at hour 12. It was the right choice.
It was tough. Parenthood is a series of ups and downs, humbling and a reminder that we need God every second. So proud of you guys and so excited that baby Luca is here!
I rejoice with you, and we just give God a collective praise for your testimony. 🎊 God is so faithful and in the midst of your pain he saw today when believers would come together on this UA-cam channel and praise him because of his faithfulness.

Oh Morgan...😭The songs (especially that 1st one from the Psalms) brought me to tears & sent chills up & down my spine. So grateful He gave you a healthy baby boy & a safe delivery despite the intensity & the trauma. What a beautiful visual depiction of the faithfulness of our Saviour. He truly hears our prayers & is so so terribly good to us even when it doesn't feel like it. So much love for you, Paul, & lil Luca Grace 🖤

I was 9lbs 3oz too!! and I was the first child. was very traumatic for my mom as well, she was in labor for 72 hours and then finally had to have a C Section, I was just wayyy to comfy in there. Hope you're getting some well deserved rest! Glad he's finally here!! 😘

Congratulations!! I’m so sorry that your birth didn’t go how you had planned. What a strong, powerful way to step into motherhood: doing whatever you have to do to bring your baby here safely. I had a traumatic birth too, and the best thing I learned was the importance of asking your medical team questions. If you have any holes in your memory or don’t understand what happened and why, your brain is more likely to store that memory as long-term trauma. Enjoy the baby snuggles! I hope you’re so proud of yourself- you fought so so hard to get him here!

I'm so sorry your birth was not as planned. My last birth I was in prodromal labor for a week despite doing multiple miles circuits and inversions. When I did give birth finally we had a scare because my baby was posterior and was stuck on my pubic bone. After a while and some help we finally got him to come out.
Processing traumatic birth is hard and it's okay to struggle and take the time you need. God is our healer and more often than physically, emotionally.
I say this all to remind you that you're not alone. So many of us have been there and are standing by you in prayer.
