I'm so glad I found your channel. I'm an ADN student in my second semester, and I quickly learned this is no joke. Nursing school will stress you out. I took a test on Diabetes, Obesity, and Neurosensory today and it was horrible. I feel like my instructors teach one way and tell us what to focus on and the tests are completely different. It's really discouraging because I am very capable but it seems as if they are trying to weed us out.
Aww thank you! And I completely understand what you mean. I have had professors that do that. Some are straight forward and will help you be able to target your studying for exams and others seem like they’re almost setting you up to fail exams lol I usually do not do well on the first exam in any class because I’m getting a feel for the professor and how their exams are set up. I usually do much better in the second exam. Don’t get discouraged!!
Not in clinicals but from working in a hospital, highlighters are awesome to make patient’s names , vitals, primary issue/diagnosis, any important notes (ex. NPO or non-weight bearing) standout from rounds(report) or care plans. I had different colors for the different points I’d use during downtime to make sure I gave a good report at shift change.
Hi! Hope you’re doing well, I recently changed my degree program from day to evening/weekend program due to my work schedule. Are your clinical session done on the weekends or in the evenings? I start my clinical in September so I just wanted to know how is it for you. Thank youuu ❤😊
Hey! All of our clinicals are on the weekends, and then classes are weeknights at 6 PM. I remember that when we had labs in anatomy and physiology, some labs would be offered on Saturday morning. But aside from that, classes will typically be weeknights and clinicals will be either on Saturday or Sunday! Good luck!
