Peter is 100% spot on with his analysis about the British Invasion & how the Beatles paved the way at the beginning doing things their own way. And yes, beside the Beatles and then The Rolling Stones, there was definitely extreme popularity for Herman's Hermits, The Dave Clark 5, The Hollies, Gerry & the Pacemakers, the Animals & a few others that were easily in the top 10 of the Invasion from 1964-1966. Herman's Hermits were also a very good band live, back then and still today. Peter's voice is still really good and he still looks good.
Peter is extraordinary! First saw him in 1965, my first grade teacher took me! 😊 I'll always be a big fan! He's so much fun and so funny, so entertaining! Better than ever! Next concert for me is next week in Myrtle Beach!
He still looks so great ..and young👍♥️😁. Great interview. Still love him. He's wonderful to just sit and listen to as well as look at♥️. Great stories. Thank you both.♥️♥️
Great interview! I was lucky enough to see Peter at a concert in London, Ontario around 2009. I met him after the concert. A real nice guy! In this interview he comes across the same way. A great live performer. I really enjoyed his reflections on his experiences in the 60’s as I lived through that period as a teenager.
A lot of those British performers were from the low working class suburbs...they had nothing to gain by being pretensious, they were just natural, and delighted to just be in a band let alone famous. They never forgot where they came from. They didn't want to go back to that situation, but they appreciate the journey that made them famous. Well most of them anyway, you do get the odd coneited ones.
Never miss his concerts at Epcot, love all his songs; Great Entertainer! Great Music! Great Night, just listening to his Songs. And he Looks Wonderful! Young at Heart!! (Henry the 8th, I am Iam ) "Happy Music"!!!
Herman's Hermits was my favorite band as a teenager, firget the Beatles. I have seen him several times in Jacksonville, Orange Park, and Palm Coast, Florida. He still has the most energy. Always, always gives a 💯 plus concerts. ❤ I loved Little Anthony and was lucky to see him also.
When I was a nine years old my mother gave me the exact money to my very first record in a music stall in an indoor market here in northern England. I bought Sleepy Joe, I have a large collection now but my first one was Sleepy Joe. So long ago now but good to see what an intelligent person and his interesting stories. He is like Jimmy Page, no edge or self importance now.
Dont forget the appearance on Laverne and Shirley with Eric Idle. I almost forgot the Married With Children appearance with John Sebastián, Robby Kreiger and another. Hey I just left a Hermans Hermits Starring Peter Noone show in Peekskill NY- great show!!!! Had fun and we met. Dont stop touring.
Man, when I was 11-12 Peter Blair Dennis Bernard Noone was my hero, although I loved the whole British Wave phenomenon, he was possibly along with Nelson Eddy and John Denver my biggest influence vocally.
Wait a minute! Peter Dennis Blair Noone, right? I once won a radio contest by knowing his full name, and that's what I remember. That, and some really great songs!
Did he ever meet Carole King? anyone? Thanks for posting when these interviews were done! lots of you tubers don't do that. He would've, I think, had a HUGE hit with Tomorrow Night (a Shoes song). He could still add it to his live shows. EXHIBIT A: ua-cam.com/video/BE-YbOaBBgA/v-deo.html 36:52 who was this critic? why not name him? 39:24 best quote in this whole video! second best: 44:35
Most artists would comment about meeting Elvis but no mention in this interview. They met in Hawaii on the set of Elvis' latest movie 'Paradise Hawaiian Style'. Disappointing.
4:25 I an remember an original fan watching this and thinking: (GASP) OH, PEEEETER - I actually let my daughter listen to you back then. What have you been teaching her??? She's non-binary now!
Looking great & still upbeat. A great guy singing memorable songs. No complications. A professional

Continues to enchant, Peter None is my heart throb. Spell check keeps changing Peter’s last name!

I saw him in concert at the Coachhouse in San Juan Capistrano, CA in March 2023. Incredible Band! The show was awesome!
What a great interview! I could listen to Peter talk & sing all day long. My all time favorite Band, HERMAN'S HERMITS!!!❤️💯
He still looks so great ..and young👍♥️😁. Great interview. Still love him. He's wonderful to just sit and listen to as well as look at♥️. Great stories. Thank you both.♥️♥️
It's good you kept him talking because he's telling history that's going to soon be forgotten
Still the same charming young lad I grew up idolizing. Just loved the Hermits.

So humble ❤ he's one of my favourites ❤
60s music is the best.
Engaging and eloquent fellow. Nice to hear him pay proper dues to the Beatles.
You know, it’s not a word I use much, but the guy is really just delightful. Fun. Great interview… post ALL you can, pls, and thanks!

The good old days ,it will never come back .. and that is sad

This was fantastic!

This interview was in 2002. It's ow 2023 and is still touring. He's right about his sense of humor. You can experiece that at his concerts.
Yes, amazing he is still touring and putting on terrific shows! He's a very energetic person!
Peter LOVES to talk and tell stories and seems to have no issue with having to repeat himself so often because of all the interviews over 60 years.
That was fun! Wish he talked a little about the other Hermits. Bet the DC5, other than Dave, were surprised to hear that they were wealthy.
He still looks good. I have some of his single records, I love his song Theres a kind of hush.

Still looks & sounds the same as in the 1960's a Peter Pan ,had some great hits.A very ,humble honest person.
Love this. Hear him a lot on Sirius XM
I'm not really a Hermits fan (they did some good stuff of course) but Peter Noone always comes across as a lovely and very interesting bloke.
Man, when I was 11-12 Peter Blair Dennis Bernard Noone was my hero, although I loved the whole British Wave phenomenon, he was possibly along with Nelson Eddy and John Denver my biggest influence vocally.
He's such a level-headed guy he's really cool
He is so articulate and perceptive, and interesting
Wait a minute! Peter Dennis Blair Noone, right? I once won a radio contest by knowing his full name, and that's what I remember. That, and some really great songs!
So handsome 🤩
I Love 60s music; but I'm from Philly, so Doo Wop,had quite an impact on me; and of course Bandstand
Love ya Herman.❤❤❤❤
The Hollies were famous too during the time of Herman's Hermits, The Beatles, Rolling Stones and DC5
The Hollies were a great band. Much better than DC5.
The Hollies were marvellous. Allan Clarke's voice. Graham Nash. Such talent.
In the uk the hits kept coming till 1971 in the states it stopped around 1968 , was there a reason.
He was my big high school crush!
Peter is just So funny

“Here’s, my original member…” lol Great commentary on Artists 33mins-37.31 mins.
Him and Ron White might be related lol
