Had a serious crush on Peter in the 60's. Love this video - he really hasn't changed. Still love him. Really nice guy. Still love this music, takes me right back to that time. Thank you Peter.
Like most people, I find celebrities interesting, but there was only one that I can say I was seriously a fan of and filled with admiration for, and that holds true even after 50 years: Peter Noone! He is heads above all other performers. His singing talent is extraordinary and has not depreciated one bit, but his talent doesn't stop there. His ability to perform, connect with the audience, and his quick-thinking comedic wit are unrivaled. Also, Peter is one of the very few celebrities that are down-to-earth genuine - not the slightest bit arrogant or egotistical. And even though I don't know him personally, it is crystal clear from interviews, performances, after-concert signings, and his energy field, that he is a person of integrity, with a pure heart and a beautiful spirit. (How many celebs can you say THAT about!)
Kathy...he also did some stage acting and made several movies. I talked to him about HOLD ON and MRS. BROWN at the Nebraska State Fair. He said he had more movies, which were popular in the Philipines.
I've met him several times ( i think he was surprised to have such a young fan - i was decades younger than everyone else at his shows), and he's absolutely delightful. It's been probably 15 years since I last saw him tho, as I moved from California to the UK. I think he also liked that I am Jewish, as is his wife.
Fantastic person. I had the pleasure of hearing him sing in Old Sac(ramento), California. During the backup band's break he sat down on the edge of the stage and chatted with us. Freddy Fender is another favorite who did this.
I had an L.P. in the early eighties which was a mishmash of Elvis related stuff. Peter Noone interviews Elvis and actually asks Elvis over and over about why he woulndnt''t come to England. Obviously Elvis never did come to England but I will always be grateful to him for trying. Thanks, Pete!
Elvis except for his Army hitch NEVER left the States because Col Tom Parker didn't have a Passport...he couldn't get one because he had no Birth Certificate. He was born somewhere in the USA to Gypsy parents who were traveling with a circus I believe...if Parker left the country he would not have been allowed back in...he would have lost control of Presley and his huge meal ticket...so he forbade Elvis from touring outside the US. As rich as Elvis was Parker got something like 97% of the gross...Parker was happy to overpay his Taxes and the US Government kind of looked the other way...FYI in case you didn't know.
My wife Vicky met Peter Noone at the 3 Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne. He was eating as he walked to the stage area but stopped long enough to talk to her and gave her an autograph. Very nice guy who gave a great show.
Oh my gosh - he still sounds the same. Usually singers from the 60s can't reach the notes nowadays, but he's spot-on. Very distinctive voice. He had LOADS of hits back then.
So true. Not many performers from that time can sing their hits in the same key as they did originally. But Peter still manages to do so...pretty amazing.
I saw the Herman's Hermits starring peter noone last night! What a show!! Ive never witnessed the Connection between a star abd his audience like last night!!! And im 66 years old! Wow- Vance was in the band 15 years ago? I met both Noone and Vince - nice guys
I used to be so in love with this man when he was a boy & I was a kid. I wish I still felt that "sweet crush" feeling. I met him 2x in my life. When he was first starting out & much later about 10 or so years ago....he's such a nice person.
Love him! Saw the Herman's Hermits at Steel Pier in Atlantic City when I was a young girl!! Like so many of us girls back then I had a huge crush on him. Great guy!
Still able to sing his hits in their original key. "I'm Into Something Good" written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, the Lennon/McCartney of U.S. hit singles.
I've seen him live recently. Hermans Hermits is just a tiny little blink of an eye in the music world, but Peter has good fun with keeping his teenage success alive. He knows where he stands in the big scheme of things and plays his role in great stride. He seems very happy, its great to see someone live such a fulfilling life
TINY LITTLE BLINK OF AN EYE? NO WAAAY. Go count all the top 40 hits he had. Girls went crazy for him just as the Beatles. They are considered one of the greats of all time
Dantr51 totally agree with you. it seems a little surreal when you realize Herman's Hermits were one of the major bands of the 60s and like everyone says he walks around so casually before his shows now and chats with people so naturally. you'd never get that with the stones or McCartney or Springsteen ect
willkittwk, you are right. I saw him at a local bar back in the nineties. I was having a beer with him after his show. I told him in 1965 I found a $5 bill and turned it into the police. They gave it back to me after 30 days and I went out and bought your first record!. And here I am having a beer down the street from my house, with that little guy from across the pond (here's actually over 6 feet) some 30 years later." He is still a down to earth guy, still married to the same woman for years. The Stones, McCartney, and Springsteen might get shot if they are mixing with fans ala John Lennon.
He actually doesn't look as old as some of his 1960's counterparts (Cough...Keith Richards...Cough). He's still alive too which is a good thing! Many from his era have bitten the dust.
The band sound like they did in the 60s... his voice is still great and he is more charismatic than when he was that teen heartthrob making no 1 records
Peter 'Herman' Noone is brilliant. And Vance is so cool! They are a team. Herman sang 'I'm into Something Good' just as how it should be sung by a true Hermit!
I Remember all his songs. I love Peter No-one!!! How can I get in touch with him? I've got plenty of written material where he can put music into them.
Just realized Herman's Hermits is a pun on "her man's her match". Maybe, but it could be why he remains married to the same lady. They deserve each other.
John Smith I don't care about Christianity but I found out in his politics he is very right wing. He has a younger brother Damon in England who was a UKIP rep in the Euro Parliament in Brussels a while ago.
In 1965 Herman's Hermits sold more records than any other performers in the world, including the Beatles. However the Beatles did not release as many that year because they were tied up with making their first movie, which may have helped.
Diana Wescoupe : I love Peter Noone, but you must remember as to his youthful looks - he lives in USA, the land of "Plastic Surgery" - they all do it out there, if I understand it correctly you can even have little procedures done in your lunch hour. lol. :-)
New peter noons in 60s.He was filming Mrs brown youve got a lovely daughter at shepperton studios. He stayed in my local pub/Hotel.Went parties with him and his group .Terry
Had a serious crush on Peter in the 60's. Love this video - he really hasn't changed. Still love him. Really nice guy. Still love this music, takes me right back to that time. Thank you Peter.
He just lit up the whole place when he came on. Adorable person. Unbelievable for 60 in this clip 🏆

I totally agree with you. Herman (Peter) is something special. He never seems to get old and seems like such a neat guy.
Kathy...he also did some stage acting and made several movies. I talked to him about HOLD ON and MRS. BROWN at the Nebraska State Fair. He said he had more movies, which were popular in the Philipines.

I'm 60 and I could still have a crush on this guy. Geez! Thanks, Peter, for all you've done.
That was awesome..Peter's such a likable guy.
Fantastic person. I had the pleasure of hearing him sing in Old Sac(ramento), California. During the backup band's break he sat down on the edge of the stage and chatted with us. Freddy Fender is another favorite who did this.
He looks amazing, I was afraid to look when I searched for him on here, Im so glad he looks like he did and is doing great
So nice to hear about the background not just the songs 😊👍🇬🇧
I met him in Houston about 4 years ago, He is a great guy and takes his time talking to all his fans, even my teens were impressed with his show.

Elvis never performed abroad because the Colonel had VISA issues (in the US illegally? Was wanted abroad? I kinda' forget what it was exactly.)
Colonel was legal alien in Usa. He fled from the Netherlands to escape arrest for murder.
My wife Vicky met Peter Noone at the 3 Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne. He was eating as he walked to the stage area but stopped long enough to talk to her and gave her an autograph. Very nice guy who gave a great show.
he looks like a super guy
Danny Walchle Hey didn't know he was at the Three Rivers Festival a few years back! Fort Wayne is my home town. Thanks for the good story. 🙂
My idol when I was 7 to 12 years old. I adore this man!
i really think he is truly one of the most genuine nice guys left , still an awesome performer and as cute as ever
+alwayssme
Gerry Marsden seems like a very down to earth guy, too and very genuine.
very cute.
Still sounds great. One of my fav bands back in those days.
He kissed my hand in Boise while singing...I will never forget!!!!
He has aged so well and he can still sing!
Peter seems real down to earth. I`d love to see Herman`s Hermits in person!
He's alot of fun! Seen them at Busch Gardens a few times! Always a great time
Oh my gosh - he still sounds the same.
Usually singers from the 60s can't reach the notes nowadays, but he's spot-on.
Very distinctive voice. He had LOADS of hits back then.

8 years ago & Pete sounded like he did nearly 40 years earlier! Took good care of himself for sure.
He's amazing ! Still sounds like a young boy 💜
What a great guy. I want to become a Noonatic! Going to look for him on FB or Instagram.
I used to be so in love with this man when he was a boy & I was a kid. I wish I still felt that "sweet crush" feeling. I met him 2x in my life. When he was first starting out & much later about 10 or so years ago....he's such a nice person.

OMG he sounds the same! No lip sync people! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Really good stuff, Peter! Thanks!!
Still able to sing his hits in their original key. "I'm Into Something Good" written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, the Lennon/McCartney of U.S. hit singles.
Listen to the original of that one by Earl Jean - Noone's version is very faithful to it.
Takes me back to 8th grade in 1965-66. I would go to the movies and meet my GF in the balcony of the movie theatre.
james helm watch mrs brown youve got aovely daugther
What a gent glad to see he is still out there doing his stuff
Magic, Peter always had a beautiful smile
So awesome still and Vance is amazing to
Brings back some great high school memories.
He has hardly changed and sounds exactly the same. Love Herman's Hermits!
Peter is as good as he has always been...Love it!
peter herman is still a cheeky chappie....looks great for a man in his mid sixties. looks the best of the 60`s survivors.
he was just 60 here, got a great head of hair, jammy git.
It's noone not Herman.
I just love to hear British girls talk...oh, and Peter too.
I am 28 and soo i love with him!! I always stay until the end of shows just to get a picture with him.
Outstanding! Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant sound and vision

Keith Richards actually died a few years ago..... It's just that nobody told him. :>)
Peter is younger than many of his counterparts, he was 16 when the band got started.
Not only did he start early, he has taken pretty good care of himself. I wonder if he still smokes.
This was an interview just before Peter Noone came back to the US to tour. Saw him at a VIP show at Harveys in South Lake Tahoe.
The band sound like they did in the 60s... his voice is still great and he is more charismatic than when he was that teen heartthrob making no 1 records
Americans so lucky please come back home Peter and tour the UK
Peter 'Herman' Noone is brilliant. And Vance is so cool! They are a team. Herman sang 'I'm into Something Good' just as how it should be sung by a true Hermit!
Herman's Hermits were the lights on a Christmas tree of the rock and roll era...
I still love him! Always will!!💕💕
I liked all his songs
l loved Peter saw him on Ed Sullivan ran out the bathroom and my brother said he was on phone only 5
I Remember all his songs. I love Peter No-one!!! How can I get in touch with him? I've got plenty of written material where he can put music into them.
They're AWESOME! Thanks!! :)
Regret the day I lost all of my MGM Herman's Hermits 45's. He is the most likeable guy going strong in his 60's in that recording.
He learned very early to treat the fans with respect and they will do the same back to you.
Handsome man
Isn’t he just! I used to love his cheeky grin and I’m glad that his teeth still look the same. Omg, I’m still in love ❤️
Ahhhhh. The memories!!!
Truly a professional
Great..Peter as always
Just realized Herman's Hermits is a pun on "her man's her match". Maybe, but it could be why he remains married to the same lady. They deserve each other.
something tells me peters into looking after himself good!!!!
Thumbs up for Len Fairclough! You may need to research Peter Adamson to understand.
Sounds the same as when he was 15 years old. Great!!!
Lovely man ❤
He is a Christian i have met him and heard his testimony
what a shame. i really liked him until i heard he was a christian
John Smith how silly
John Smith I don't care about Christianity but I found out in his politics he is very right wing. He has a younger brother Damon in England who was a UKIP rep in the Euro Parliament in Brussels a while ago.
I care about Christianity and he is a nice guy
chrisbacos great news

Onley one of them is real know' guess who? 📻 🎶 🇬🇧
Strange that his first hit single was written by...... David Bowie, a very different kind of fellow.....
noone understands me :(
Is that Alice Cooper playing the guitar?
❤❤❤❤❤
That really threw me a for a curveball. I thought he was going to voice his opinion on loose vaginas on women......
Diana Wescoupe : I love Peter Noone, but you must remember as to his youthful looks - he lives in USA, the land of "Plastic Surgery" - they all do it out there, if I understand it correctly you can even have little procedures done in your lunch hour. lol. :-)
please ? he is the most normal person I know
Not everyone does it..
karen marie : you are right not everyone - I think he is a great person anyway, Nice to see you have a forthright opinion, keep that going :-)
Adeline I’ve seen him around Santa Barbara a lot. That helps, too.
"loose women"??
It's not noos to me that Peter is "brilliant"!
I guess he don’t know much.
He looks good because he didn't get strung out on booze and dope...
I don't agree, mccartney aged just as well!

New peter noons in 60s.He was filming Mrs brown youve got a lovely daughter at shepperton studios. He stayed in my local pub/Hotel.Went parties with him and his group .Terry
I'm very happy Peter, didn't get into the drug scene. I wanted nothing to do with drugs.
