AiraySickle, so vegans are wrong cuz a cow has too much milk thats been produced and that causes suffering, when your lifestyle is causing an excessive amount of suffering. what a hypocrite. did u also know that cows are being injected with hormones to get more milk out of them. gee i wonder if all cows have this excessive milk condition like those that live in the wild. maybe they die by excessive milk problems. i think its u who has no idea whats happening. if u lack the ability to put urself into others shoes then at least respect those who can. wake up, little boy. or do u prefer to keep your eyes closed cuz u dont wanna admit what u do is supporting a crime. and pls dont bring up that all animals have the right to hunt, eat what they want, like in the wild. its the circle of life. if ur gonna live like an animal then u might as well just go out raping and spreading your genes, like in nature. and eating ur baby when u dont need it, e.t.c. you are literally dragging urself down to the level of getting called an animal when u can still use this highly evolved brain that you can use to show compassion and understand unlike animals, whats right and whats wrong. if you are saying it is ok to abuse and take the freedom away from another life then u should still accept it when someone superior or stronger than u does the same thing to u or ur loved ones. how do u feel being the pray of a lion. do u like the circle of life then? probably not cuz its not so fun on the victims side. look at the world through their eyes. claiming theres already enough suffering in the wild life is not a reason to cause more suffering. put ur self into their situation. and at least in the wild they have their chance to live freely before becoming a prey. it is no longer your right to fulfill ur desires when ur going against someone elses rights, and in this case specially the right to live. thats injustice at its extreme, cuz it not even for survival. think about it.
Sup 321 Vegans are wrong for harassing people, bullying good companies, not realizing they're in the wrong, and wanting animals to have equal rights which means a lot more than you'd think resulting in no pet ownership. All those that love their animals and animals love them? All the disabled with their animal friends? All the animals who just love life? Well too bad to animal rights. All those breeds would go extinct. Thousands of them gone. All those animals suffering being taken from their owners so they can "be free" dying out, starving, suffering, unhappy, wanting their human companions but fuck that we're all vegan and think they'll be happy go lucky free. Who cares if they all die and the breeds are gone and we no longer have them they died "free". No, vegans are very wrong.
AiraySickle You're biased and uninformed. We're destroying the planet with animal agriculture (Watch COWSPIRACY). Animals don't need to have equal rights in order for people to leave them off their plates. They suffer and feel, that's all that matters. Compassion is never wrong. And the good karma is that people get healthier when they stop consuming animal products. Heart disease, diabetes, lupus & cancer are cured in countless people who start eating a much healthier plant based diet (Watch FORKS OVER KNIVES, and PLANT PURE NATION and FAT, SICK AND NEARLY DEAD). Veganism makes a lot of sense. As for pet ownership, many vegans adopt pets. No need to breed more animals when millions need homes. And what's the point in raising cows, chickens and pigs just to say they still exist, only to brutally slaughter them all? Would you rather live and then be killed horribly or not live at all? I'd rather not live at all if my only choice was to live a life of torture and then be murdered.
She is a true hero. History will speak volumes on the way we treated animals in our modern society. It will be looked on with disgust, that we killed sentient innocent animals to eat their flesh for no reason but selfishness.
@@deadboltzz5199 There's something really wrong with how they raise animals and then slaughter them. It's cruel, inhumane and sick. If you are fine suporting an industry that does that to innocent, defenceless aniamls, that's on you

I have found that inviting friends to lunch often starts the questions as to why I don't eat meat, giving me a chance to explain in a way that is non threatening to them. I so connect with this. Just watched Cowspiracy with my 7th graders in class. Planting the seeds of change about animal agriculture. I didn't expect to be pulled into my activist role. My aha moment came 8 years ago when my daughter asked me to read the book, "Skinny Bitch". Little did I know it would start my vegan/animal rights/steward of the earth journey. I'm sure this video will help inspire her to make a difference, like you have. I've also recently become an activist, though my cause is too controversial to mention. Like you said, the scary stuff just turns people away. I especially liked all you said about the sacrifices made for being an activist, as well as the fulfillment. You would make a great activist for activism itself. Good luck, and thank you for all you do. With peace and love.
@@drax5434 Yes please do. Whatever you believe is correct and you can't care about what others think. That will make you an amazing activist for any cause. Please tell us, anything to help animals is great, even if we can't admit it to ourselves.
that was the most amazing est speech i have ever herd. we are having to do a speech in class about a social justice issue and you have just inspired me to do something that i think it is wright.
Great job Simone! I want to work at the ASPCA if/when i graduate from college. If that means moving away, so be it. I've SEEN dogs that were once treated as just property, not loving pets. One dog was so badly beaten, when she first showed up, she had no fur, and almost no chance to live. i cried when i heard that, and felt filled with rage that someone could abuse an animal so badly. Animals are NOT property. They have feelings, emotions. They feel pain, anger, sadness, love. Nothing makes me more angry than circuses. They 'train' their animals with pain and fear. They use cattle prods on the elephants and chains on the tigers. They burn the paw pads OFF the bears, so they can only walk on their hind legs.
Hey guys, I really hope that you take my advice but I think you should watch Cowspiracy: The Sustainabiliy Secret and Eartlings right after. You're welcome :)
ALL animals deserves to live a life free from pain and suffering. We can ALL help, many petitions and events can be found online at organizations like PETA, ASPCA, HSI and etc.
I worked in abattoirs saw the horrors of animal ag. Learned about this word called vegan. Tried it didn’t die and will never regret moving away from that awful industry. If I can change certainly anyone can
"Animals" are living breathing, thinking beings we are fortunate to share this earth with. Heaven help the person I see abusing a dog, cat, horse,etc..............................................ad infinitum
May I remind? Are we our 'pets' 'owners' and 'masters'? No! Rather we are their 'Guardians' and 'Custodians'. They are our Co-Inhabitants on Earth to be revered as our:- 'Friends' - 'Comrades' - 'Collaborators - 'Helpmates' - 'Companions of men' - 'Healers' - 'Teachers' - 'Brothers' and our 'Kith and Kin'. 'I believe animals should be respected as Citizens of this Earth. They should have the Right to their own Freedom, to their own Families and to their own Life.' John Feldmann
I came to realize as a member of the NRA that I should Care about Protecting Public Lands and wildlife from large corporations since the environment on government property Belongs to We the People, and we could be the next victim of mistreatment by these companies if we allow them abuse our property, the environment.
I’ve always been fascinated in the natural world and seeing this speech gives me inspiration. Inspiration to get out there and be a contributor and finally complete my legacy : protect the natural world. We need to change and although I’m not an activist I support these groups . I hope the next generation will be more kind to these wonderful creatures so to inspire someone here’s my story : As a kid I was fascinated by animals, their different traits and colors . One day I thought to myself :how? How are these creatures related ? Lizards and snakes both have scales don’t they? Then as I got older I learned about evolution but not in middle school no no no I read about it in the last year of elementary and because of my knowledge of animals I was soon : the nerd and I was happy they didn’t bully me or anything and that was when I started watching Ted talks and brave wilderness and all that . So I just want to say : we can make this planet a fair world.
@@01ReeTe01 You can be against cruelty to humans at the same time that you are against cruelty to others. Most other species that kill to survive is done out of necessity for survival. Humans unnecessarily kill trillions of individuals every year.
More than 200 million animals are killed for food around the world every day - just on land. Including wild-caught and farmed fishes, we get a total closer to 3 billion animals killed daily. That comes out to 72 billion land animals and over 1.2 trillion aquatic animals killed for food around the world every year. It’s truly heartbreaking
Simone's another fantastic speaker, theres alot out there now so whenever i start to feel alone in this fight all i have to do is watch one of these speeches. Going vegan is choosing to be part of the solution and not the problem. Change will come
Maybe because we are tired of being browbeated by whiny, teenaged-minded animal ''activists'' whose only real trouble in life is between deciding whether or not they will have enough time in the next hour to watch their favorite cat videos or their favorite dog ones.
Amy3422 I didn't even bother to watch. I just typed in animal activist in the search button and clicked on the first video and muted the airhead in it.
There isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t feel the horror of what the beautiful animal kingdom is put through by the human race. I shall never forget the pictures and footage of what I have seen and heard. Heads should hang in shame.
Oh my bad, I sensed sarcasm. Honestly, I don't think meat is that delicious. I mean we can add butter, sauce, flavours etc, but no one loses their mind over a plain boiled chicken. I think habit is a big part of our meat consumption. I think meat is far less addictive than say sugar or Caffeine. 👊🏽
"Ask ourselves the right questions?" Truth is important and can change our views, philosophy is about questioning about everything. I agree, animals do deserve a voice when they are in cages, trapped in a fate to be lead to death and cruelty. Becoming proactive gives a chance to act to changing views.
Thank you, well said, evolution is on the side of rising consciousness and concern for all living creatures; those who are so cruel in their opposition do so because they are unable to love even themselves.
@Google LLC Only certain other animals kill other animals for survival. Humans do not, they kill trillions of individuals annually for no necessity. Humans are frugivores like all our primate ancestors, that's why the leading cause of human death is pretending to be an omnivore (Essylstein, 'A Way to Reverse CAD').
Well said, the world is a horrible place for animals. Most people wouldn't unnecessarily harm animals themselves, but the vast majority of people do actually harm animals through the second degree by paying others to do it. You can thrive on a vegan diet, avoid serious medical conditions and lower the risk of many cancers and also heart disease, whilst helping the planet. I urge everyone to give it a go

“The words and actions behind Animal Guardian, Animal Guardianship and Veganism remind us and others that “non human animals” are sentient beings who feel love, joy, pain and loss, who deserve to be treated with consideration, respect, compassion, protection and love. That they are not commodities, property, objects or things to be "owned," bought and sold, abandoned, exploited and killed for profit, amusement, food or when they are no longer useful or wanted.” Elliot M. Katz, DVM, Founder and President Emeritus, In Defense of Animals. Director, The Animal Guardian Initiative.
When i was 13 years old i saw a documentary called RACING EXTINCTION that gone through me. After watching that i am not the person i was before. I have killed many innocent animals as we all do. In our highways, or just for fun, for food ,for clothes. Now i am a animal lover i help every single speechless animal that cry out for help. We all have to do it because if we dont nobody will. It is my dream to open at least 20 animal hospitals and animal saving institutes.

I'm glad you found inspiration in this video. We all need a video or two to let our emotions run wild. Just don't use that inspiration to riot against meat-eaters like me, and we're good!
I read a comment saying that animal activist were idiots and that animals were supposed to be eaten and by watching this makes his meat taste better. All I got to say is that WE Animal activist are in the right side of history. The future generations are going to look back and ask why.. Because we repeat history over and over again .. Just in different ways
+The Boy In The Red Jacket well eat meat I'm sharing my opinion like you have
Hey, Boy, coming across as a little defensive.
It's always blown my mind that everyone doesn't feel this way. I just assumed everyone else was better at denial and/or making excuses.
Nothing wrong with eating meat
Yummy bacon
@@deadboltzz5199 There's something really wrong with how they raise animals and then slaughter them. It's cruel, inhumane and sick. If you are fine suporting an industry that does that to innocent, defenceless aniamls, that's on you

Simone's presentation regarding her choice of words was on point, concise & impactful. I really felt the power within her. I congratulate her on her passion to help the voiceless & vulnerable & to act on her conscience of doing the right thing
I have found that inviting friends to lunch often starts the questions as to why I don't eat meat, giving me a chance to explain in a way that is non threatening to them. And when I am laughed at I know I hit a nerve and they are now thinking. Hang in there a day will come when the human race will look at eating meat in disgust.

Yes... everyone must speak for animals...let it start from us
I so connect with this. The walls are starting to finally come down. Carry on and keep spreading the truth. I will listen to this talk whenever I need the motivation to keep going on this important path. Thanks!
Best animal rights speech ive heard. ❤️ i stand up for animals!
purrfectworld I'm here in New Mexico building a animal sanctuary and I'm just thinking maybe you're looking for a change in your life just a thought enjoy your evening
That was a beautiful speech Simone. I admire all your work and wish you continued success. My daughter works in the media and shares your views on animal treatment.
Great talk - ignore the ignorant comments - keep doing what your doing Simone!! 😇

I too have always had that calling as well.
Simone, you are amazing !!
that was the most amazing est speech i have ever herd. we are having to do a speech in class about a social justice issue and you have just inspired me to do something that i think it is wright.
Do you eat meat?
ANIMALS RULE!!!
I’m not ashamed for being an animal lover... I’m proud of it.
I love animals too. they taste good.
I felt the same after watching those videos, it is horrible to see. I stopped eating meat instantly.

Beautiful talk and an amazing personality
Beautifully done. thank you.
excellent speech , continue to educate, some people still won't listen, don't stop ,you WILL REACH PEOPLE
I totally love this..I'm a new vegetarian...so leather is gone from the house..learning more and more😊😊😊😊

Ah! You are amazing! So glad to see you at the Animal Rights March yesterday! Keep saving the world!
Saving the world from what? There is cruelty towards all species feom all species, especially us to our own species
@@01ReeTe01 You can be against cruelty to humans at the same time that you are against cruelty to others.
Most other species that kill to survive is done out of necessity for survival. Humans unnecessarily kill trillions of individuals every year.
Simone can explain it so beautifully. Thx! Keep up your great, great work!
Great speech, well done Simone Reyes! :)
Excelllent presentation, ms Reyes. Never give up. As you say - this is a war.
Such an inspiration! I recently decided to get more involved in activism. Thank you!
Love this message. People will wake up in their lifetime, soon or later
Thank you so much for this video! It is so beautiful and perfectly said. Go Vegan!! And Be the Voice for these Beings!!

yes, you are
Simone's another fantastic speaker, theres alot out there now so whenever i start to feel alone in this fight all i have to do is watch one of these speeches. Going vegan is choosing to be part of the solution and not the problem. Change will come
Half the comments in this section sound borderline sociopathic. The other half are by people who didn't need to see this video in order to care.
Very very very good comment
+Amy3422 sociopathic but also industry paid
Maybe because we are tired of being browbeated by whiny, teenaged-minded animal ''activists'' whose only real trouble in life is between deciding whether or not they will have enough time in the next hour to watch their favorite cat videos or their favorite dog ones.
Mexican Swag Then why did you watch the video?
Amy3422 I didn't even bother to watch. I just typed in animal activist in the search button and clicked on the first video and muted the airhead in it.
There isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t feel the horror of what the beautiful animal kingdom is put through by the human race. I shall never forget the pictures and footage of what I have seen and heard. Heads should hang in shame.

I needed to hear my thoughts put into words. Thankyou.
And now the whole audience is going vegan right? They should be. Well said. And good on you. 👊🏽
But why are animals so delicious?
@@eldesgraciado6690 five years later. I kinda want something with more depth. Give it another go chief 👊🏽
@@cgbodytube Not another go. It was an honest question. Humans looooooove eating meat. But why?
If you are suggesting that because I eat meat I don't love myself... I- I'm done... I can't even...
@Aika Papa Not everybody has the same identical mindset.
We Most help meny animals. Stand for them
STAND with them. And everything.
This is helping me with my Animal Rights essay due Tuesday!
