Ike Gauntlet with the Model A! Just having it do it even without a trailer would be impressive.
Andrea, remember back then mostly farmers bought those trucks. They worked many more hours than we do today. They didn’t have time to take vacations, plus they couldn’t afford campers, boats, etc so they didn’t have a need for a hitch! We are so blessed in America and we Americans take it for granted everyday.
Andrea?
I don't know about those farmers but I put in my 70 hour week every week. So it must be nice to be in such a fine position to be able to work 40 or fewer hours.
You ass, no farmer works only 40 hours per week today. In fact, no self employed person works less than 60-70 hours per week.

My uncle’s Model A truck was the first NON COMMERCIAL vehicle to the top of PIKES PEAK.
Andre - that was a great epiphany you had! I believe you should spend more time with your daughter driving, towing, and offroading in trucks. You will definitely get a great understanding of someone brand new. :)
Awesome news! Not that the Ford Model A is my dream car, but I've always wanted one. It appears to be one of the only vehicles I could actually repair on my own. Sure I may need a few tools to do it, but this vehicle was produced before the need for specialty tools. And, it was meant to be easy for the owner to maintain. Also modern enough to keep up with around town and light highway driving. I'll be interested in this series.
Cool truck. The Duesenberg is an American car. The car was built in the foreign country called Indiana.
Yep I was about to say the same.
Yeah he whiffed on that one thinking it was foreign because of the name.
You guys really need to visit and video at the Henry Ford Museum and Village in Dearborn, Michigan. Not only is it filled with eclectic historical artifacts, especially transportation, but Model T and Model A cars roam free.
What a great video🎉🎉🎉 I feel like I have just gone to truck university.thanks guys. Brilliant 🎉🎉🎉
Have to admit this is a really cool truck and it was a great deal, I doubt if you would lose a penny on this when it comes time to sell. It's a rolling piece of history.
Cadillac introduced the controls we have today, Austin was the first mass produced car to have them.
I see Tommy "stealing" this as part of his wedding gift. I'm looking forward to all the tests and reviews.
That reminds me. Henry Ford used to drive down from Detroit to Fort Myers for winter vacation. Maybe you could drive that distance in the pickup to let us know what that is like and how the truck holds up.
New channel, TFLAntiques
ZF might be the best transmission designer in the world; the first year is always questionable, but I am more likely to gamble on a new ZF tranny design than on any other company’s new design.
Awesome buy.
Awsome buy, I look forward to seeing it on the channel, but I have a question. Whatever happened to the OBS 7.3 Powerstroke Ford truck you bought?
Don't hafta double clutch an A, mostly, if you can hear the rpms & get it exactly right....
It sounds like this old model A truck can carey about the same Lbs, has about the same motor size and is about the same size as a Maverick pickup truck.
I would sell the ct before the year is up and take your chances. I doubt that ban will stick.
Beautiful Ford Pickup !! 🛻 👌
Good morning guys can I work at TFL I love trucks and cars. You guys have awesome jobs
Roman, you feel like you've already done everything with the CT? Do I recall correctly that you guys once had a trip planned with your Model X to the Northwest with a trailer, and had to cancel because it just wasn't feasible from a range/time perspective? Maybe a re-do w/ the CT to demonstrate.. something? And honestly, it's been a little too long since I saw my last TFL Misadventure 😆
It would cost too much to film with the constant down time to charge, with the predicted views unlikely to cover the costs. TFL is a business, and need to focus on videos that bring the most profit (low cost, high interest).
Love to do it but it’s a big and heavy lift.
JP-8 > Diesel
Duece-and-a-half is not 2,500 lbs., but 5,000 lbs.
TFL, the truck Experts!🤣🤣🤣

Tesla fanboys keep saying Toyota is trying to be more like Tesla, guess it's true.
Roman your comment on cybertruck sales that they aren’t selling many. That makes it seem like you think they have already ramped up to full production or don’t know that there is a thing such as a production ramp.
It's actually selling pretty well, they've sold about as many as F150 Lightnings, from the latest recall numbers it's a bit over 11,000 units, up quite a bit from the 4k units when the "throttle pedal recall was initiated.
Read your comment out loud, then sue your third grade English teacher.
@@jimjones-pz1ttwe're gear heads not English teachers.
@@matthewholzmueller6292 I don't expect you to be English teachers. I do expect you to pass third grade English. Is that too much to ask?
Also, nickle, not chrome & 65 is terrifying in a 93 year old truck....
Roman looks like he just woke up…man, do be so thin skinned. Just ignore comments you don’t like…life’s too short
Too often, your credibility is more than offset by by astounding ignorance propelled by arrogance.
