Hello from Hong Kong. Lovely to see cooking english comfort food. I never thought beans, beef and potato can be a dish. I would like to watch more cooking videos. Much appreciated.
Your videos are so relaxing. A simple excursion is turned into an observation of all that is great about having a camping car and the memories that can be created. Pure escapism, thank you.
Many thanks for your videos Carol & Ken. You know, before going to sleep I love watching your new videos because of their relaxing effect, the harmony, peace and complicity between you are really inspiring to me! When I grow older I want to be like you!! In fact, I'd like to find a partner to share this way of life... (and sadly it's not my current one...)
Sadly to be miss matched is a heartache. In my case, my match died way too young. I do hope your circumstances have changed since this comment and you have found a match that suits your soul. All the best.
To echo a number of other comments here you have once again managed to present a great selection of music, I “Shazmed” a few of the tracks you’ve used and put them on one of my playlists. Ken you continue to expand your skills with regard to gathering ‘B’ footage, loved the footage to ‘Old Harry Rocks’ it was top class and very enjoyable. Once again you make me so home sick for my home county. The south coast looks so beautiful and it’s nice to see something of my home other than inner city madness, the most stunning part of the UK is of course the Lake District/Cumbria, I might be biased as it will always be my home :) Love your videos, the two of you do them with such a friendliness, so keep up supplying a bit of the good part of Blighty for the world to enjoy and with any luck the UA-cam algorithm will pick up your blogs and throw it out to the masses. Looking forward to part two:)
Very nice Ken & carol great wee meet up with others to share experiences and ideas on your travels and the little red camper👍 thanks for sharing as always cheers take care and get out there and enjoy 👍 life is to short
Absolutely love your videos..My hubby and I are completely up to date with every single one of your videos ..You are both an inspiration in these covid times..Safe travels from Mary and Tommy. ☘
I live quite close to the campsite you stayed at and at the beginning of the week I was on my way back from shopping and I saw a red NV 200 on the roundabout in front of me. So imagine my surprise to find you’d actually been in the area this weekend. Love your videos and the practical advice. I’ve got a Mazda Bongo, so I find your tips very useful.
Have deliberated for ages as due to age need to transfer from tent camping to stealth van camping. So much choice on the market. Your blogs could not have come at a better time for me, they are like gold dust. After all the tooing and froing I now know definitely what I want. I shall be buying a NV200 on my return from Thailand. You make the practicality of it work so well. Thanks a million. Malcolm.
1) The 17th May is the National Day of Norway :-) 2) I like the awning you made - looks simple and effective. 3) The burgers looked good - And the stew. Comfort food is important although not good for the wasteline. 4) Remember the age old Norwegian saying "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing". It's always sunny above the clouds. When you get to Norway there will be many cloudy days and many with rain so bring that stiff upper lip and British stoicism and you'll be just fine in the north. You must think positively and not let dreary weather get you down. You must dress to the conditions and stay active and get out there and do things in less than sunny weather.
Lovely video thank you. I wonder if the vans were made by different converters or all Sussex campers? I’ve seen one or two used Hillside Leisure NV200’s for sale (Dalbury) and they look very nice, although I’m not sure if they’re in their current range. Hopefully you’ll have some sunshine on your next trip. Louise x
I've been to Old Harry Rocks but it was empty. Seeing all those people stood so close to the edge gave me the eebie jeebers! Enjoyable as ever and still wading through your back catalogue at the same time!

The awning on the white van was the Outdoor Revolution Cayman Air Midi. Not sure of the size as we didn’t see inside. I think Christian has just bought a Vango Air Cove II like Liz&Gus’s (the grey van without pop top) to replace it.
Loved this video, I didn't even realise that you had an awning facility on your van. It's nice to see all the places you go it gives us all ideas for the future. Best wishes from Northern Ireland.
@@LifeistooshortCK Yes we headed Down South on the 10th of this month as the border opened up again for a few days it was great to get away. Bought a memory foam mattress topper and it seemed to work and we had no condensation under the foam seating. Thanks for all your ideas etc.
Thanks Gill. We won’t be getting an awning because there is simply no room for it in the van when we are wild camping and we won’t be spending a lot of time on campsites 🙂

Hi John. Christian Lewis has a good group on Facebook facebook.com/groups/586345175094975/?ref=share we had a six van meet up in Dorset back in May and I think he is planning another meet up soon.
Hi guys , another great video, one question though . Were you using a different camera or resolution to your usual footage ? I thought a lot of the video wasn't as sharp as your normal high standard footage . Probably me needing to clean my glasses
Normally I upload in 4K but for some unknown reason I was having issues with the 4K render being pixilated on some shots. I need to fathom it out as the original clips seem fine. 👍
We understand your disappointment. With indoor mixing still not allowed under covid rules everyone was wary of going inside each other’s awnings and vans. On the next meet up we will try and do some filming of layouts, etc.
I don’t think that legislation is aimed at the holiday wild camper. I think its for people who stay longer term and refuse to move on. I could be wrong but time will tell.
Some lovely music you had on!! My parents were both professors of music at the Royal Academy and instilled a love for music and travel.
Just love the music..good choice...

Hi, love your blogs, we've just got a NV200 camper conversation and was wondering if you know of any Facebook groups we could join? Thanks John
Disappointed, was hoping to see inside some of the other vans to compare layouts.
We understand your disappointment. With indoor mixing still not allowed under covid rules everyone was wary of going inside each other’s awnings and vans. On the next meet up we will try and do some filming of layouts, etc.
Hi ya, considering you are a ex-police officer. I was wondering what your views are on the new legislation coming in regarding wild camping/parking?
I don’t think that legislation is aimed at the holiday wild camper. I think its for people who stay longer term and refuse to move on. I could be wrong but time will tell.

Yup, I agree, thanks
I love your videos but I really don't like lyrics on music in videos. Music is great but vocals- not for me. Love your work. The narration is great!
Everyone has different tastes. Thanks for your honest feedback 👍
I like the titles as it gives some interesting information. Especially as we were there.
@@christianlewisphotography6910 I was referring to the singing, not narration
Very good shame about the good old english weather.
Thanks, we had to make the most of the weather!
