We take a field trip up to HRGOFFROAD in Moooresville NC from Greenville SC to test fit the 2023 Honda Pilot TrailSport with a 2.5" Lift Kit with 1" Inch Subframe Drop as well a test fit of the 1.5" and have some fun fellowship and camaraderie with Ian at No-Lo Designs (his TrailSport) and the crew from HRGOFFROAD.

I wanted a 4Runner but this seemed like a more sensible choice due to extra space and slightly better gas mileage and the moonroof my wife insisted on. I'm not a hardcore offroader at all but like the extra ruggedness.
Honda is getting there finally

No - we think we can bring it back with a small subframe drop but we are talking light a 1/16 out.

I just bought a silver Trailsport and I'm also in the Charlotte region. Is the oil pan aluminum or steel?
The oil pan and skid plate are steal.

Hi, does anyone know if this new pilot has a timing chain or timing belt? Also for the previous gen pilot's platform/ engine, does anyone know if there's any timing chain conversion kits? Thanks

Great video and can't wait for my TrailSport to arrive! Very interested in what kind of performance gains, sounds and MPG you gain from a CAI. Are you planning anything for the speakers? The TS we test drove had terrible speakers so I'm going to research more into upgrading the system eventually.

Tell us your MPG. From Pilot forum the mpg not that great (23mpg) ... On my passport I'm having ~27.2 mpg on midgrade (26.4 regular) with VCM off.
