I'm contemplating buying a 2023 Ridgeline RTL-E and want to keep all the highway censors intact. It looks like the flat front tow hooks will work with a Ridgeline RTL-E. I'll be looking for them if I get the truck. (This might have sold it as I was hesitating because of front tow hooks.)
Also, trying to find a front mount trailer tow hitch that does not reduce the clearance height. The idea is to use a hitch mounted winch only when going off road. The flat front tow points with a bolt on cross brace that has the 2" receiver raised in front of the bumper might be the answer. Or just a winch mount on a bar that bolts on but raises the winch in front. I want the hitch/winch off when parking at WalMart and the 99% daily driver times.
BTW, why not design the front tow hooks into the front skit plates?
