Filleting fish is an art and changes from species to species…even when you’ve mastered it “if you don’t use it you loose it”. I have dressed fish and game my entire life and still mess it up.😅 It’s how you learn, so keep it up! 🙌Those walleye definitely have some blue slime on them, nice!🤙
These are great. It's the unpolished nature of these videos and your candour that makes them so good. Where had your primarily tripped before Wabakimi?
Nice vid. I have Nova Craft Pal 16', tuff stuff, love it. Thinking Wabakimi this summer maybe. I might have missed it, but what time of year were you in Wabakimi?
Have you ever checked the fishing rules for Ontario? I see people fishing the base of a fall all the time, but in a lot of places that’s illegal. The fish bunch up there and it’s kinda too easy. As for filleting, my dad and I used to catch so many perch, that we ended up doing it production style. We filleted thousands of fish. Even so, sometimes I mess up one. It takes practice. One little tip I can give you is to leave the first side partly attached, so that the second side lays flat…..oh and that white curly tail jig is pretty awesome.
Hi Jim, yes, we worked with Wabakimi Outfitters to ensure we met all regulations and used their provided maps. That sounds like an amazing way to be efficient with the cleaning! I'm excited to keep learning 👍☺️
Its heaven for a dog to paticipate in wild adventures, thanx for sharing!
Totally, Garth! Stay tuned for our next adventure - lots of Rook!

I appreciate the support! First summer ever learning to fillet, wish I would've ran into the walleye at the end of the summer and not the beginning 🤣
Bug jacket time is really helpful when required. 🇨🇦👍
Absolutely!
Great looking trip. Onto video Pt. 3!
Appreciate it Steve!
OMG - love that story … keeping it real 👍🏼🏕🛶
Thank you Tina! I'll be sure to keep them coming!
Nice walleye bud! I can't wait to try some world class fishing up there.
Thanks! We barely scratched the surface of what could be up there. Enjoy!
Watching this video. Like that you are telling your “reality” stories. Thanks for keeping it real.
Thanks Sue 🙂 often it's easy to edit out real moments, but I find it helps encourage others that they're not alone! Appreciate your support.
Good to know I’m not the only one that has “Monty Python” moments while out on trips! 😀👍
Haha, glad you got a laugh! So true!
Funny story! If that would of happen to me my friends would probably by standing on shore laughing there asses off while taking pictures 😆
Take care👍
Hahaha, Cait was definitely enjoying from the shore.
Great second day. Loved being on the portage with you and see the lay of the land.🌲🌲
It's great to hear that! I always contemplate about what to include, and it's awesome to know that is impactful.
Great trip so far, really like someone that says pickerel instead of walley.
Glad you're enjoying!
Good luck 🎲 💪💪💪
:)
I'd want to stay at that campsite for several days!
It really was fantastic
Your story about cooking the pickerel earned you a subscription. I could picture the whole fiasco
Haha, thanks Michael! Wish I just had some of the footage, but glad you appreciate the realities of tripping!
Keep going brother
Thanks!

Hi Greg, great to have you! We went in the first 2 weeks of July.
